To the guy that was playing bladeshift against mid shadow in the other thread, don't get cocky. He most likely bricked. I know from experience.

None of those legos are really that great honestly, and only getting 4 in 40(?) packs is pretty underwhelming. Try to figure out what class/deck you want to play and then aim to get some of the key cards when you reroll. Stopping at a roll with lots of good cards also works

There is 2 approaches you can take
You can re-roll until you get 2-3 legendaries of one of the cheaper decks and immediately craft that or reroll until you have a lot of good legendaries and then just play homebrew garbage for the first weeks

You wanna jump right in onto the ladder experience? The go with the first option, wanna just build collection and take it slow go with option 2

When I started my only deck was midsword so I played nothing but that. I would never say I mained it, it was just the only deck I had to play. I ran giant slayer when I didn't have tsubaki. It was fine.

Albert can't really be replaced. You need at least one. Ideally two before you make a sword deck. I used Zeus as a substitute for my third and he worked fairly well but he's a legendary too. The only budget albert would be Gilgamesh. Which isn't great, but it's not unplayable..

This game has even less decision making that hearthstone. You can tell who's gonna win the shadow mirror after the first 3 turns are played out, it's pathetic. And there is nothing worth playing except shadow, because it wins every matchup.

This game deserves to die, it's like playing the card game War, you just flip up your top card and hope it's better. There's no actual gameplay, it's just playing our the curve.

haven't played with it enough to know specific matchups, but against any kind of aggro or mid shadow, I try to keep stuff like unica and angel of the word and removal to out curve them and fight for board control. Ledger on 4 is a beating, especially if you're going first. 2 4/4s and 3 shadows and deck thinning for 1 card is absurd. Card is severely underrated.
