Like maybe once you beat Madarame, he mentions having seen the Black Mask, who then shows up. You fight him, it's a pointless battle but you get to see how strong he is. You fight him again in the middle of Kaneshiro's palace, this time you're given a fighting chance but it's still hard and there's no penalty for losing, and then you fight him again in Okumura's palace and you have to defeat him. Then when pushed to the brink, he takes down Okumura before he seemingly goes down.

Technically Morgana has a point. Goro could have sided with his cognitive version kiled the thieves and went for another try against Shido later on, and he'd even have a leg up because he knows Shido plans to kill him, while Shido is oblivious to what happens in his Palace.

Instead he sacrifices himself so the thieves can do it their way and become the famous heroes he desperately wants to be (he doesn't realize Yaldy would just cockblock them anyway)

But on the other hand if he'd gotten over himself and just came clean when he found out the thieves had other ways of using the Metaverse and he kind of liked being with them they could have avoided all of that.

If he was clever enough he wouldn't have even had to tell them he was the one causing the shutdowns and could have just manipulated them into helping him take out Shido.

I never played persona or the SMT games. My JRPG experience is FF7-15, and some of the dreamcast RPGs that came out but I really like the genre. This game with its crazy reviews and some innovative looking ideas seems like I'd enjoy it.

My problem is I really can't get into the whole waifu anime bullshit thing. I recoil at some of the threads on this forum. It's just so juvenile to me. Not trying to start a fight I just can't be bothered with it. I never got a vita mainly due to the threads on this forum. I was all ready to get P5 and then I saw a waifu threadfor it- and I'm having second thoughts. How embarrassing is this game? Will I have to go on dates with anime cliches in it?
