Yes. Partly because of the spoiler, but mostly because it just seems so easy to hammer a great game out of this base. That it was such a shit show in the first place was not a foregone conclusion desu, but rather a major screw up. The sequel should, hopefully, fix all its issues and leave us with something great. Or it could go the ME2 route, throw everything away, and make the sequel borderline in-name-only with a poorly written tacked on story, corridor shooter gameplay with zero customization, entirely different setting, structure, characters, and most importantly, entirely different tone.
