Honestly RPGs make up the majority of either system's library of worthwhile games so you can't go wrong with either of them in that regard. I guess 3DS has more platformers, though, especially if you include the entire back catalog of SNES, GBA, etc. Oh, and 3DS has Xenoblade, which is the best RPG ever. So yeah, go with 3DS.

Vita can play most SNES, GBA, etc games as well, though, thanks to RetroArch

Vita also has a respectable amount of platformers if you count the PS2 ports of 3D platformers like Ratchet & Clank, Jak & Daxter, Sly Cooper as well as the various indie platformers.

Plus it has the PSP and PS1 libraries available, which adds a FUCKTON of both RPGs and platformers. The PSP remakes of various platformers are all good, like Rondo of Blood, Mega Man, Ghosts & Goblins.

It's really up to preference, but if you want to play RPGs and platformers, either system can definitely hold its own.

Download them, delete them afterwards and then selectively download the themes you want. Otherwise, you'd have to delete a few hundreds themes. One. By. One. Since the 3DS can't handle more than 100 themes at one time.

no, it really isnt. you can only download something like 400 themes at a time and the theme displayer only lets you see 99 so it makes you manually delete 300 themes. It takes something like two hours to do when working at optimal speed

Themes are considered DLC for home menu.
For updates and DLC, you have to click on the gamepad on the touch screen. There you will have a list of your games. Click on those that have an exclamation mark on the right-hand side and you can download updates and DLC alike (as long as the titlekeys have been dumped).

Back in the day when TrueBlue team held the entire PS3 scene by the balls for not sharing their method of playing games that required 3.56 and above on 3.55.

Then a group of assholes (who initially wanted to keep it hidden) figured out that it was possible to convert retail units (CEX) into debug units (DEX) and play backups of the latest games. The method was leaked eventually, much to the wannabe-scene-elites dismay.

For starters, they don't sell the original E3 flashers anymore. All that's left on the market are clones and if you do manage to find a original model then it would be a lot more expensive.

Clone E3 flasher models work but are only for one time downgrade use. If you try to downgrade more than one PS3 then you will get a error on the E3 board. The clone model also can't accept the Samsung multiconsole update so you can't get around that error.

So, a while ago, I cfw'd my n3ds using a system transfer fro, a 2ds. The n3ds has its own nnid and everything, and I restored the 2ds with a nand backup that had the nnid that was on it before the system and transfer. I was upset about Persona 5 DLCs being disc locked and not all of them being available on PSN despite it all being disc locked shit, so I made an unlocker for all of them, gonna copypaste my post from /pg/ for convenience so here you go:

For all the PS3 piratefags here, I finally managed to figure out the DLC encryption method and using JPN DLCs as a source (by decrypting them) and then encrypting as ENG DLCs, I have essentially cracked all the DLCs open, every single one of them.

All you'll need to do is install the PKG I'm linking here and it will unlock every single DLC in the game, not just the currently available ones on PS Store. Again this is because all the fucking DLC are disc-locked (with exception of JPN voices) in typical Fatlus scum fashion.

Mind you that you still need the JPN Voices package (the big 2.7GB one) installed for the JPN voices to work, but all the other DLCs will be unlocked by this.

I had my PSP 2000 in 5.00 m33-6 until a couple weeks ago, when I just decided to upgrade to 6.61 PRO-C which seems to be the EOL firmware for the PSP and very stable with lots of good shit for it. Also undid my Pandora because I have no further need for it and my 16GB magic memory stick died so I had to put an older 4GB non-magic one and realized it wouldn't boot without a magic stick and couldn't be assed to make the 4GB one into magic stick (and why would I?)

But M33 was so good that for years many new CFWs came for 5.50, 6.0, etc which didn't come close anywhere in quality to m33. It took a lot of time for something like Pro CFW to match it.
