I'm trying to get Adrenaline installed on my PSTV with 3.60. My system is not activated and I do not have access to a working PS3. I do have a second PSTV that is on the latest firmware and activated.

Is it possible for me to download a PSP title on my activated PSTV and insert the memory card into the 3.60 PSTV to transfer and alter the file and install Adrenaline? Is there a more simple solution?

I'm having a strange problem with my vWii setup:
I'm using a hidden FAT32 HDD plugged into the back of my Wii U using a Y-USB cable. The HDD is listed as compatible here (http://wiki.gbatemp.net/wiki/USB_Devices_Compatibility_List). I'm using the latest revision of USB Loader GX and it refuses to detect the HDD hidden or unhidden.

Go check eBay for slim prices.

E3 Flasher reads the nor chip on slims by attaching a ribbon cable clip, no soldering is required for it as the clip has connectors that grab onto the chip.
If the clip gets broken then your other option is using a Tristate board and soldering it to your ps3

If you have CFW, install multiman on your PS3 and there's a option when you select the persona disc to dump it to your hard drive. After dumping is complete then upload files to your PC via USB or FTP then share to the world.

If you don't have CFW then you need to give your disc to someone who does or owns a bluray reader on PC that can read PS3 gamefiles.

There's little soldered holes on the clip that attach to the pins on the nor chip. The pins pass the data through those little holes which then carries it through the ribbon cable to the E3 board and then writes the data to your inserted SD card.

One of the reasons why people always say you should apply pressure or clamp down the clip is because if one pin gets misaligned then it could fuck up the whole nor dump.

Nice anon. If you're looking for a nand dumper then I recommend teensy. It's a bit of a pain in the ass to setup with soldering but it's reliable, cheap, and it works for downgrading fat PS3s. Just double make sure that your fat PS3 model has a nand chip first as some later fats got a nor chip instead.

If this looks too complicated for you to do, I recommend paying someone else to do it for you. There's people on eBay and console modding forums that offer downgrade and restore services for fat and slim PS3s. I paid a guy on eBay called downgrade_dude to downgrade my slim PS3 and change the thermal paste for me and I'm very satisfied with it.

If it weren't for a piece of hardware that I'm going to use literally once (maaaybe twice, if I'm lucky to find someone who also owns a PS3 who's interested in hacking it) in my whole life, I'd hack it in a heartbeat.
Also, the fact that I cannot backup all of my save files (thanks to fucking copy protection) means I can't just make a system backup, sell my PS3 and get another one.

I own a copy of Vesperia on PS3 and if you want to use the patch then you have to dump the game to your hard drive and apply the patch to that HDD copy. You no longer need the disc after that unless you want to play the game in Japanese again.

The second analog stick can be mapped to either the first stick, d-pad, face buttons or triggers. This is a normal feature of the Vita.
