Did you go to Borean Tundra, senpai? Try Howling Fjord, it's far more fun. WotLK leveling can be good, but BT sucks. Other than that, yeah, it's a lot of dungeon running if you don't wanna quest. Generally speaking, if a quest sends you to talk to someone else, do the other quests first. Talking to someone else will just lead you onto the next chain, and in the revamped WotLK that likely means you will be going on a nonstop journey of discovering new chains because of how fast you level (and gain access to new chains). Just do all the quests in one area and *then* move to the next.

I dunno how it works because I got him in my garrison back in WoD too, but the way I did it in Legion was to just brawl to like... rank 2? And the bartender will give you a quest, then you get to do Order Hall missions to progressively unlock more until you get the one that awards Meatball.

It really depends on more details from those logs than just your percentiles. Healing recruitment is less parse driven because if you're under healing, healing with shit healers, or healing a terrible raid you're going to parse well. It's really more about previous experience and being able to convince the guild that you're not a sperg and will show up for every raid.

It's only weird for Draenei. Blizzard put a Pandaren in there to suggest that there were Draenei monks before any other non-Pandaren race had them.

For every other race, including Blood Elves, Monks weren't a thing until Mists of Pandaria.

The time line(which is pretty wonky) goes like this:

1) Cataclysm happens

2) Pandaria is unveiled.

3) Deathwing dies

4) The Alliance ship crashes on the Great Turtle

5) Tushui and Huojin Panaren join the Alliance and Horde.

6) After some traveling trainer who is assisting in the local starting area teaches the first basic moves to aspiring Monks, those monks go on their way to applying those moves(Tiger Palm and Blackout Kick) on their travels.

7) At level 20, those monks with promise are telepathically summoned to the Peak of Serenity, where their real training begins.

Here's where it gets a little wonky. Somewhere in there, a Tauren, Blood Elf Former Demon Hunter, Gnome, and Dwarf become masters on the peak.

In a martial art, it takes years and years to get a master rank. These people being there, physically in Pandaria, is what specifically does not make sense.

It's not enough to be a good brawler when it comes to mastering a martial art. You have to have practiced the techniques enough that they are a part of you. You can call on them at any time without hesitation. A kick is not "learned" until you've practiced it at least a thousand times.

Help /wowg/, what do I play?

I've spent Legion Launch to now trying to decide on a class, with every class bar Monk at 110 and with every class bar Rogue, Monk, Paladin and Hunter with completed class stories and most of them are at the final or penultimate stage anyway The Priest one was far and away the worst one, and insulting on every level


I thought I'd go Deathknight, since I love the idea of playing a necromancer and their class story was head and shoulders above pretty much everyone else's.

However, their lack of mobility and Unholy's lacklustre performance Blood takes too long to kill things at my sucky 870ilevel and my Frost Weapon has only got about 30 traits. Plus I hate dual wielding as a Deathknight I also have no haste

All of the weapon appearances, except Frost's Rune one and Unholy's base one, range between meh and awful to boot. especially the Mage Tower ones

What should I play?
Going for best theme+gameplay balance.
