Sephuz + Magtheridons Bracers + 41 Traits would be pretty easy

I don't have Mag bracers but like 80% of your damage to the boss in the final phase will be ice lance because you have perma frozen orb up and are constantly kiting in a circle because there's zero time to stop and cast so If you have an extra 16% damage on your icelances that'd be huge considering It'd a DPS race at that point

Would be pretty iffy without 41 traits though, the instant Blizzard perk allows you to keep moving

For the record I'm 906, 41 traits, sephuz & belo'virs (Doesn't help because if you do the fight correctly you will never take any damage anyway and if you do it incorrectly you get two shot)

Thoughts on the new challenges?

900 ilvl Sin rogue, doing the sigryn challenge.

Its pretty fun, ive only gotten her down to about 50% after 5 attempts. Could see myself getting it down before reset easily. Kinda bummed i wont get my outlaw set though, my gear is kinda ass. Only complaint is that the challenges seem really easy if you have suitability legendaries, unfortunately for my rogue, I dont have any.

Have you guys read the GD forums yet? Some pretty good salt all around.

I get that these appearances are the new hotness and everyone is after them, which causes frustration. However, it's worth noting that the solo challenges to unlock the new appearances are intended to be just that; a challenge. We don't expect the majority of players to obtain them within the first cycle of the Mage Tower being constructed.

Our aim for these challenges is for them to be comparable to that of the green fire questline for Warlocks in Mists of Pandaria. In that case, only a few Warlocks were able to defeat Kanrethad immediately, but more and more were able to overcome the challenge as the expansion progressed.

As we progress through the course of Legion, your character will become stronger (through Artifact progression, gear upgrades, etc), which will naturally ease the difficulty of these challenges. Likewise, as more and more players complete these challenges, more community generated content will appear giving advice for those who are struggling.

Ultimately, each artifact appearance has a different source. Some reflect dedication to a particularly gameplay style, such as raiding or PvP, others for reaching milestones like completing the 7.0 Order Hall line. In the case of these challenge appearances, they are meant to show that you've truly mastered the nuances of your spec.

Elem shaman looks good on logs when you average the NH bosses but that's because of adds. You'll be great on Skorp, Spellblade and Tich for example.

But if you look at the tougher fights like Elisande and Guldan which involve a lot of movement, you'll see how poorly it fairs. It's honestly painful to play in some fights. Although people are reporting they did "fix" the range on chain lightning so it bounces better so you can actually chain lightning Guldan's eyes for once.

Ele is ok on adds, trash on single target. Mythic is either for established serious raid guilds, or total numpty tryhards (the /wowg/ crowd) who want people who outgear and have cleared the fights already to join their guild. Proving grounds was an idiot check. Tower is more of a challenge to find the true elite. People can say it's all in the gear, but I guarantee a good player could pull it off(some of them) with an ilvl of 870.

It was like this for everzone. I would have loved to see Duskwood either get better or become more evil. I would have loved to see the crossroads become and even bigger hub or Southshore a fortress

Instead they didn't progress anything (other than taking a massive shit on everything southshore represented in the game) they just changed everything. It wall took a step not forwards or back but sideways.

And I know there was the catalcysm but I hated how they just fucked everything. The devestation got old really quickly. I hate seeing all the holes and broken up areas.

Whoever pushed that design decision did a horrible disservice to the game.

And thousand needles. I loved the progression from barrens to southern barrens to Thousand Needles and finally Tanaris. Flooding Tanaris bringing up the coastline to Gadgetzan clashes way too much with the design of the zone. Fucking terrible. I miss being the orc or tauren in an unforgiving, desolate zone that just gets more difficult and more desolate.
