Shadow's next set will be necromancy-centric, since they'll know from this one's release how Minthe and Catacomb influences Luna's ability to fuel necromancies. They'll adjust accordingly to make sure the new Necromancy archetype is strong but not broken, and Shadow will be tier 1.5 like usual.

So as a long time haven player I think I found the perfect way for other decks to beat Aegis. If people were to tech in Test Of Strength and use it to counter Aegis I imagine it would work wonders against it. Keep it in mind if you happen to see a Aegis heavy meta anons.

Has anyone tried Pheonix Rider Aina vs skeletal Shadow?
I would think it's good, since if you ramped a little bit, it wouldn't be hard to put her down before you get too low and immediately start going face. 6 damage vs a full board of skeletons, along with any evos/allied minions you might have. Basically a better Forte in this situation, especially considering how tanky she is.

As somebody who just reached Masters, I tend to reserve my verdict until after release and just from Take 2 runs alone, I already find out that Thane and Eachtar are really strong

Thane floods the board and when you try to remove them, not only it gives you a wight king for 0 PP but also deals face damage in some cases due to the Wights

Eachtar shouldnt need explaining

Well, its less consistent to get a good start against Dragon as Midrange Shadow

But still, you can get a sticky board as early as turn 3-4 with Catacomb and Last Words which makes Dragon's removal super hard as Lightning Blast is expensive

If that doesnt work then, you always have ways to refill both your hand and board, and eventually Dragon will run out of wards and removals

Yeah I got my shit pushed in by 2 Dragons in a row, I'm really not liking this deck so far man. Little Soulsquashers have just been sitting in the hand early both games doing little so I can't get a board going, and I didn't get wards late in the first game and didn't get any threats in the second game.

This guy had 2 Sahas and kept pushing my shit in with Israfil and I really couldn't do shit about it. At this rate I think I'd rather just keep playing Aggro. Just bad luck I guess.

I copied that game-ai deck exactly. I prefer just having the original deck and trying it out to get a feel for it before I start making changes. I've only played to games but in both I failed to get off of the ground and generate any pressure whatsoever.

So do I, and while Chimera is stickier, Skeleton Knight is a more immediate threat. It sacrifices a skeleton for more immediate damage and forces trades or 3-5 damage to face. It's also better at knocking down wards without having to evolve or get buffed by Orthrus.

If you want an immediate threat, play Rabbit Necromancer or something. Chimera is the perfect sticky target that this deck needs, I think. Shadow Reaper fuel, Orthrus follow-up, Catacomb and Wind God combos are way too valuable to be looked over. One skeleton makes a massive difference.
