Reminder, if you think people are baiting you, you're not playing well enough in your role. Either go full entry fragger and be prepared for your team to steal the kills, so long as you take site, or go 2nd entry and lay down smokes and flashes for the main guy, trading and securing corners he isn't looking at. If you're lurking and dying from another team lurker holding angles and waiting for him to engage you, then you need to play differently. It all comes down to how you handle your team.

If you're pushing somewhere and/or are not behind cover, you are baiting yourself.

Unless you've got a 5 man lobby and you can precisely communicate to your team your intention, you play as if you're not going to be helped by your team. Smoke and flash yourself out, or stall and prevent a push. Take your dependance on others out of the equation.

As for your specific situation, it honestly sounds like you're getting taken by surprise when you shouldn't be, it means you or your team are in the wrong position, and if it's genuinely not you playing like trash, it means you should just leave your teammate to reap what they sow, and find a more defensible position.

Holding sunroom/toxic is a very temporary thing, you make a pick, throw down some smokes and work your way onto site. If you're getting into an engagement and taking longer than it would normally to mount a push, expect a rotation. It's simple.

Rushing blind with auto shotty is a better tactic than holding positions, smoking, and flashing.

This game has practically no skill, 90% of it is just reaction time and aim, which isn't in any shape or form something you can call skill.

If you hold an angle you'll get peak killed, because they'll know exactly which position you're holding, despite you switching it up every single round. And this isn't even from blatant cheaters, this is just your average player. It's either because they have 150ms longer to aim for you, due to faster reaction time, and higher ping.

It's extremely braindead game, blind rushing is way better than to adhere to any form of tactic.

Drakemoon seems to have reduced the odds of winning on most of their cases, and nerfed the way the previous case creation worked because they were leeching some of the hundreds of thousands they make everyday. Just look at the top winners section these days, there's like 1 major win that's actually worth more than $20, and the rest are all bullshit $8 items you spent $30 trying to roll.

Just avoid that bullshit, for the time being you're better off going through valves shitty cases (don't though, it's equally rigged)

When your team depends on your frags to win the game they are happy and exhilarated if you clutch it in an interesting way, even stream watchers have this too, but to a lesser extent.

A person watching a video has no vested interest or anticipation in the outcome, not unless you pull off some very slick editing or have a strong fanbase eagerly awaiting a new video, just by the nature of the medium. You go into it knowing it's already over, so the video has to check the boxes whether the content was interesting or not (win or lose, terrorists or counterterrorists kill people on the same map the viewer has played hundreds of times, you need more than frags). It's why comedy channels are bigger than serious players who aren't pro's.
Pro's are the exception because they know good strategies and nades, and others want inspiration. I don't think people watch s1mple stewie2k etc. for their looks.

I don't use it for anything at all.

At one time I had middle mouse button bound to throwing my weapon. I hit it accidentally all the time and I think mouse wheel would be even easier to roll accidentally, depending on your mouse.
I think I removed it after a round on inferno where I threw my tec around grill and was left with no choice but to rush the guy at CT through smoke with nothing but my knife. The good part is that it worked and I got the knife kill.
My team saw it and asked what the wrong is with me.

i've had the g403 for a minute now and I really like it. I had the g502 for over a year previously and the mx510 for many years before that.

I also got that g pro keyboard because I wanted a g810 but a tenkeyless version, which is exactly what it is. Really liking this keyboard both for typing and for csgo. I had mx browns previously and they were nice but they feel slower than these new g romer keys.

What do y'all think of the new Negev? IMO it sounds like a rattling can of nails. It's so less intimidating than it used to be. It might do the same damage, but it doesn't feel a good to shoot.

Also, the perfect accuracy once it warms up (and the revolver) say a lot about where they expect the meta to go: Weapons to punish campers and predictable movement. Accuracy while moving is a huge deal.
