Leo is not a very good unit in Fates to my experience. He's not terrible but pretty meh even with his unique weapon.

That said, Odin works far better in a physical class. I had mine be a Samurai for a few levels to pick up Vantage and Duelist Blow, and then switched to Dread Fighter (you get free Dread Scrolls if you buy a second route).

After an arms scroll to get his weapon levels up and giving him forged weapons with long names for his personal skill he was amazing.

She's so fast the she can't get double normally, so normally I would just attack with Lucina and then refresh to get the kill, but this one fag had her with Quick Riposte, getting a retaliate kill in return. It works wonders on defense unless the attacker has a red mage.
But for real, a great skill would be Desperation, it's great for a speedy unit.

I am so goddamn tired of this.

All it does is tell you if you won the battle. But that's meaningless if you don't win the battle favorably. Does it tell you how much health you have after each battle? Maybe she gets a kill on that loli Tiki but can't do jackshit for the rest of the battle because her hp is nearly gone. Does it account for Nowi needing to attack next turn to kill the enemy, but she can't because there's a Julia right behind the enemy? Maybe she would've killed the enemy if she had TA or QR, but the simulator can't tell you that.

People using the simulator to prove the viability of skills needs to stop. Maybe TA makes her lose one more battle against a green than normal. But at the cost of that one battle, she gets to sweep the floor with every red, and hard-counters the Falchions she'd normally be weak against. I'll happily trade Nowi losing 15 more battles at the cost of not giving her a useless skill like Seal Atk, which is not viable at all in a ORKO meta, and winning any red battle without a scratch.

Reposting this in hopes of getting some feedback. I got a spare Hinata, with better IVs than this 4*. Even before inheritance I liked to save all my pulls in case they turn out to be good down the line or something.

Why are the Defiant Atk/Spd/Def/Res abilities so shit?

After experimenting on the Mass Duel Simulator and not finding a single instance where these skills increased the win-loss ratio on any unit I started to think maybe they weren't implemented properly on the website, but NO. A little searching through the combat logs and I finally found an instance of it actually procing once... and of course it did nothing to affect the outcome of the battle.

These skills need to activate at a higher percentage! 50% is way too low, especially when the effect isn't instant and happens at the start of your next turn.

Also, defensive abilities in general are all SHIT. Most of them only prevent 3-4 damage. Meanwhile units are hitting for 40+ damage. It's so insignificant that you just want offensive abilities on everyone, even defensive units. (Who are only good if their offensive stats are as good as their defensive ones anyway.)

14 fucking 10th stratum flying wins to go, I can't even afford to pass up the 3 unit rolls on them anymore despite bunnymilla and cordelia being only level 34 and 36 and I already failed 2/3 of them. Just based off the stamina needed alone I'd need 10.5 hours assuming I win my 14 battles straight and that's ignoring the hours skipped at full stamina once I go to sleep.

Pick a color or tier and you'll find a ton of issues.

Lets pick Bows. Setsuna is at the top but Rebecca is C. With the exact same setup Rebecca is slightly better and with +4/+4 atk/spd Setsuna creeps ahead barely (both with brave bow desperation).

Takumi is still stronger than both with the same setup but loses to Rebecca and can actually get more 1v1 kills with just Vantage on his kit than they can with anything, his Defense ends up actually helping a lot.

Klein Jeorge Rebecca Takumi Setsuna can all do the same thing, they all need to be in one tier.

If you have teammates to make use of reposition, do it. Threaten speed will be handy immediately. You want the quick riposte depending on how much damage she usually takes. If not a lot, you don't need the 3rd tier yet.

Also you still get more with Takumi on mass simulator. If you put the same Setsuna build on Rebecca and she gets the same kills except Fir and Selena. Jeorge and Klein actually do better than Set/Reb. Takumi even better. But it's all within 5 kills and the same when attacking first.

Takumi with close counter/vantage gets way more when attacked by a ton.

In real use they all can use desperation + ardent sacrifice with brave bow (some are better without it and end up same as her total dmg) to kill all but the same 5 things in one turn. With a drag back or reposition ally it hardly matters anyways.

It's completely negligible which archer you use.

Just pulled Sanaki. How does she stack up to other mages? I've noticed she comes with Triangle Adept, and I have a Henry, so making her a red version of Robin is an option, but her innate weapon is similar to Ephraim's and Eirika's, and I don't know if there could be anything cool with that. Character looks cool though, help me use her.
