I'd give some pointers, but I'm mainly a romance writer regardless. all I can say is, don't make it first person, it's the most godawful wish fulfillment kind of writing that often detracts from the quality of the story itself. I don't know who that is, but what I had in mind is that Eggman Nega wants to use the Sol Emeralds, Jeweled Scepter, Blaze, The Ifrit, Time Eater, Scepter of Darkness, and whatever else, possibly the Chaos Emeralds and Chaos 0, to recreate not just Solaris, the Flame of Hope, But Solaris the Flames of DISASTER. He specifically wants the version of Solaris that was the final antagonist of Sonic '06, that split into Mephiles the Dark and Iblis, so that he can finally bring ultimate destruction to all of existence.

For the most part, Eggman's intention is have control over Solaris so that he can rule over time, but once he realizes Nega's true intentions... ... I actually don't know what'll happen.

The plot is also supposed to completely explain and wrap up what I call "The Solaris Paradox" that stems from '06, the Rushes and the Rivals.

Heavy and Bomb were in the comic long before Bean and Bark, so Ian had to find a way of integrating them in while making sense with their prior history and fitting in the current plot, something he didn't get around to doing until the Secret Freedom shenanigans. Bean and Bark were introduced on his run and didn't really get much chance to get more into the action while they were on Mogul's watch (aside from Treasure Team Tango). So pre-reboot, they didn't get a chance to meet.

Post-reboot, Ian isn't interested in bringing Heavy and Bomb back. They exist, but entirely off-panel.
