To be fair some of that stuff (like infinite double jumps) can be fun to explore out of boundaries shit and what not.
Also it can be good for someone who just wants to get back to the level selection screen after deleting their save.
But yeah the game isn't that hard, I can't see why you would need this for regular gameplay when you can literally switch to easy mode and have the game play itself.

Automata feels more like it should be DOD4 than a Nier sequel. Route C/D are basically DOD1-lite. They even managed to ramp up the original Nier conclusion to levels of DOD1 suffering in Automata.

Well, I finished the game right after it's steam release. It's fucking godlike, I was crying like a bitch during ending E credits sequence, random people cheering me and telling me not to give up, and this help... After that I couldn't resist erasing my data to help someone else
Now I can finally play through the game at slower pace without trying to cram 30 hours of almost nonstop playing in 48h-weekend.

just got ending e I've never cried to a game before but I did now. I don't even know what to feel. I didn't even care about the save file shenanigans, gave it up in a heartbeat. I just can't get over how a dumb joke bullet hell credits sequence got to me so hard. I think it was the "silly games" line that got me, then the bullet hell +weight of the world medley made it unbearable

Also, holy shit man, A2 did literally everything right, fuck you Taro why she needs to suffer so much when all what she wanted was live with the people she loved the most.

You unlock programs by doing sidequests and story missions.

One shitty pod appears as a ??? event marker in the desert. The other shitty pod can be fished out of the coastal city that you probably haven't reached yet. They are weaker than the gatling pod, since they sacrifice damage and speed for gimmick shit like lock-on and penetration.

i skipped the credits, but it put me in the bunker with them still scrolling past and i got to talk to 9s and whatever. then i saw the to be continued thing, got asked to save my game, overwrote my old save file and got booted back to the main menu with a changed title screen.

Sorry for /blogging/ but I think the game deserves it.

Finished the game with Endings A-B-C-D-E and a couple of joke endings, and all what I have to say is that Nier Automata is one of those master pieces that you find once after long time.

Loved all the characters and how the game focused the story around topics like the future, family, love, relationships and overcome obstacles that exist ahead yo reach what you really want.

2B is a great girl, someone who deserves better and be happy, same as 9S who ended with a twisted mind after all the shit that happened to him, maybe he will recover his mind after being reconstructed by the based pods and considering he has 2B at his side again.

A2 ... what a poor girl, knowing the truth for a long time, watching how everyone she loved was killed and ended alone in a world that only hates her. Her sacrifice was amazing, she truly is the main heroine of this game. Maybe some day she will be happy again.

For some reason one of the moments that almost made me drop a tear was when Pascal village was attacked during A2's playthrough and when the kids killed themselves at the factory along with Pascal's request, that hit me really hard.

Same thing happened with A2's last words at ending C, 2B's crying at endings A and B.

Despite knowing the PC port have some issues that will be fixed (I guess) the game is a 11/10, glad that I spend my money and time on this game.

Some day I will play it again, that's for sure.
