Question about Rivens here

If there's a negative stat on the card does that increase the positive stats on the card?

for example if you have +damage -ammo capacity riven and a +damage + multishot riven, will the dmg % be higher on the one with the negative stat? or is the only thing that affects numbers the disposition?

I think you should re-evaluate Frost.
When was the last time you thought "man, I'ma need Frost for this mission".
Yeah he has the defense part down, but alternatives would get the job done faster (usually) with the whole "offense = best defense" thing. Honestly, you are rarely happy to see a Frost on your team these days, it's usually newbie shitters who stack redirection, vitality, vigor and steel fiber on frost and call it a day. While frost does not require the same amount of material investment to reach frame-specific maximum potential as say Chroma, the player needs to have at least the same level of knowledge of the game to know how to adapt frost builds and playstyle to different mission types and enemies on the fly.

I reached the quest where I have to kill 10 sentients and collect 3 mods from the Lua missions.

Is there a recommended place/way for me to do that? Which missions do the challenge rooms/sentient mobs spawn in?

I got an akstiletto riven mod. It's +status (75% or so), +multishot (which totals out to 55%) and +punchthrough (0.6 meters). I don't know whether to reroll it or not.

On one hand, the multishot will boost it from 180% to 230%, which is roughly a 28% overall DPS increase, and I can drop a dual stat mod and still keep 100% status, with even more procs due to the extra multi-shot. On the other hand, I think the punch through may be too low to actually penetrate enemies. Advice?

Tycho lua is good for sentients, they spawn in every 5 minutes and it's usually 2 or 3. I do pavlov lua for challenge rooms, they usually spawn in, and you can farm for an ivara part and spy shit at the same time.

Speaking as someone who 4 forma'd them, they're disgustingly good at max. They're expensive weapons to build though. Primed pistol gambit and target cracker makes them shit out absolutely unholy damage that confettis anything you aim them at, but they gobble through ammo like OP gobbles up dicks, so you also want primed pistol ammo mutation, or the regular kind and ammo case on a carrier prime at least.

If you have lots of cash and spare time, they're well worth it just to scythe down an entire crowd by holding M1 and moving your mouse sideways. Bonus points for using ice storm to have a 164 round magazine.

Agreed. Freezing every infested for two rooms and letting the survivors run right past them was a godsend once you got to 100+ evacuations, as was hiding the med boosters inside snow globes.

In general, his scaling is always nuts. You can solo level 100 sorties if you have a strong primary, because nothing will break a strong snow globe spam but letting a nullifier walk into it, and avalanch renders enemy level irrelevant.
