So I've played survivor quite a bit and I wanted to understand why killers can seem like such dickheads at times. I found out. I fucking found out.

I decided to play the Killer for the first time in months.Went Hillbilly (first time I've played him) in my first game with no perks - Haddonfield. Couldn't chainsaw for shit. A Claudette kept looping me round a house. Got her twice but didn't camp so she ended up getting saved. Post Game lobby - 'Bro, uninstall your game'

2nd game - also Hillbilly. Was genuinely having a good time. Managed to hook everyone at least once. Again didn't camp so everyone escaped and still trying to get used to Billys chainsaw ability. One of the Claudettes in post game lobby 'noob killer'.

Holy fuck and they're wondering why no-one wants to play killer.

I think I'm done trying to do stealth altruism instead of stealth objective.

Basically was prepped to unhook someone in the basement when some idiot got downed probably because they were sprinting in for "muh points" so I had to hide in a corner even longer. Unhook the first one, she steals the second unhook, so I just say fuck it and leave em both there. One gets downed and disconnects. Someone gets downed as the 4th gen is started so we only need one more. You could stand on the blood lodge stairs and see the other two from there. The other two survivors left trade places on the hook, and I spend a good 10 or so minutes doing like 10% repair progress before sneaking off because he has one of the shortest patrols I've ever seen, and he's Billy to boot. Eventually hear Meg doing fucking nothing but whining over near a gate. Heal her, point at a gen then I run off to the other. She gets downed and hooked immediately, literally the only way I can live now is with the hatch. Luckily it was across the map where the gens were all done. Holy hell the kicking mechanic is rough sometimes.

Im tired of playin against fully equipped and perked players. Does that edit of bloodpoints for the beta still work?

9 or 10 is usually the highest I see, except after reset of course. Average though is 4 I'd say. I don't play as much as I used to so I don't shoot up ranks into Rank 1 much anymore but matchmaking is still pretty busted it seems so I still get my fair share of rank 1 killers. A while after reset that's all I seem to see. Occasionally the game tries to throw me at a 22 hour killer or some other low number...it's pretty silly.

This stuff doesn't always work, but I literally try stupid stuff like this every single game, so I tend to get at least a webm or two on days I play even with only playing like 2 or 3 games tops.

Pretty sure it mostly has to do with that fact at that rank 5 and lower you have 15-20 minutes solo queues because literally 200 people world wide are rank 5 and lower killers.
And all of that is starting to trickle down to lower ranks.
So yeah, the root of the problem is killers leaving because the devs refuse to balance survivors.

Honestly, reading it again it doesn't seem like it's going to be as bad as people think. This is assuming they take the damage after their so called timer runs out. In fact if that's the case, which the way they worded it makes it seem highly likely, I'd say the only use for the perk practically would be saving someone next to an open exit gate.

I've been running Thrill of the Hunt on the few occasions I play killer, just to throw more hex totems out there. It's cool because I don't really mind if it gets taken away because points are pretty easy even without the point bonus. Can someone explain to me why are killers crying about survivor perks being too op? I have over 200 hours and i never deranked as a killer. But as a surviver you can be unlucky and get killed right on the start after just a few seconds, but with killer you gain poinst just for hunting its soooooo easy so why are you crying??? i dont understand.

That's the thing though. I don't just start looking for the hatch when I'm the last one alive anyway. That's a waste of time usually. Most likely the killer will find it before me because he doesn't have the added worry of having to hide from someone while looking, plus he's faster. Also most killers will then stay near the hatch, so I get free repair points, and can then draw them away with a full repair if it works.
