Tsundere Goro is fun, but he has scenes where he outright tells Joker he finds him interesting and easy to talk to and that they have a special connection. I wonder if that's an aspect of his personality they'll keep if he ever comes back or if it's going to be different.

It is fun to break a prideful character, but he does admit that he envies Joker's freedom and in the end he owns up to everything, so I can't really see him as the snobbish type that most prideful characters are. Yes, he definitely felt that he didn't need nakama to achieve his goals or to be happy, but it could be because he never had any real friends due to his background. He craves attention, gets it from his detective act, but knows all of that isn't real, and it's very conflicted. While he was with PT he genuinely acts like an excited little kid finally belonging to a group of friends, which is both funny but also a little sad to see.

TBQH I've loved other characters from persona before but never have I talked so much about a single character other than groo.

I would recommend fighting your way to the boss, grinding until you're out of MP and can't do much, and then calling it a day and fighting the boss another day.
