So the normal people I play comp with is a pharah mercy combo. Usually I play Lucio but I am finding I have a difficult time fighting and defending myself. As well, I tend to do the bulk of the healing since mercy divides their attention between pocketing the pharah and helping me top people off. I do enjoy Lucio but with the recent recent bastion change I'm looking to take up another healer. My aim is only decent, so should I buckle down and put my nose to the grind to master Lucio or make the switch to ana for her kit or zenny who I also enjoy and can fight pretty well on

What the fuck is the problem with this community? It's been a day of the Bastion buffs and people are already crying about how it ruined the game. Bastion is the most easily counterable character in the game. Yes, you can't outdamage him when you're shooting at him from midrange, but you are a complete retard for even trying. Bastion has the biggest drawback (not being able to move) out of all the characters, because he is powerful in other aspects.

I can name 2 hard counters to him right now (and these are not the only ones): Dva and Sombra. Dva can protect a damage dealer so he can kill Bastion, and Sombra can hack him. Maybe you should try to adapt before crying to Blizzard about every single change.

I def have more practice on zenny than Ana, but once I'm home from work I'll put some time into both in QP and see who I'll settle for. Ana's heals are great at 75 versus zennys 30 hps. But he can focus on giving extra damage as long as I remember to toss the orb to whoever needs it more. No worries about hitting moving targets when the orbs sit on them. But the damage boost will have a hard time comparing to the sleep dart and healing grenade which comes with the anti heal. And then ults as well. A reactionary ult for pushing or countering an ult like genji or pharah versus the ult that is great for dealing lots of damage and pushing.

Memes aside, he's the new soldier, he fits on almost every team composition now. I got to diamond playing soldier and bastion. My soldier games were good and I had gold elims/damage most of the time, but bastion is waaaay better and easier. Even bastions standard gun feels better than soldiers now. Bastion is so goddamn tanky by himself and random help, dedicated reins, zarya and heals are gonna be a nightmare for most people.

How long till nerf?
