Marienburg is a waste of time considering how strong they are.

What you want to do is build relations with every empire faction you can bar the ones you're going to kill, then start conquering your way towards the VCs only while you can also simultaneously defend yourself at home from potential sudden invasions.

Can still work in TWW.
Spears don't shred your cav on the charge, only afterwards. And spear units are usually low tier, so you can hit it from both sides and shatter it really quickly.
Otherwise you generically hold with your infantry like usual.

Personally as far as heavens bombardment spells go I prefer thunderbolt since it has a lower cooldown time and its upgraded version is pretty cheap comparatively and if it hits an armored unit head on that unit can suffer almost 75 health damage.

How direct damage spells work, is they tick once per second against a set number of models in the unit. Some do a fuck load of damage to a small number of units (final transmutation does damage to one model in every unit it hits. Devolve used to only hit 4 at a time). Now, the issue with how devolve used to work is it'd hit 4 dudes for 50 damage a tick, with a 25% chance for each tick to do no damage. 50 damage overkills the shit out of most infantry and isn't very big on most actually small unit size models like trolls.

Now, devolve's overall damage is 50% higher, but it hits 10x as many targets. So the damage per tick is significantly lower; allowing less of the damage to be wasted by BTFOing a small number of dudes at a time.

So, looking at these changes, Fate of Bjuna was buffed, albeit not by much. Devolve is significantly more usable. Flock of Doom on the other hand took a big nerf, as it now wastes damage on anything with less than 120 models.

There's an all female unit the Brits and Irish can recruit specialized in guerilla tactics but there's only 80 of them where other units are 160 size. There's 1 dude in the army carrying the flag and so the voicework of the unit is male, pretty funny. Barbarian units like archers and low tier units have a couple women in them.

Optimization is fine. Nowhere near as bad as people are saying.

It's historically accurate enough. From a period where historical records and shit were burned to the ground anyway.
