I played 250hrs of casual before jumping on ranked so mine are seriously inflated due to only playing around 20 matches.

Still don't see the use, sure you can drone ahead of somebody but if they got decent headphones they will hear enemies and if they make sure to monitor entrances they will know when they are in and where and when to expect them it would also be a lot better for your teammates if you actualy help him out i.e create distractions and noise to make the enemy think you are coming from a different side.

At the end of the day i think cav and echo are both good Ops and a lot of people have negative opinions about them because they mostly get picked by shitters while most try hards go for Jäger/Bandit
