-You've got a lot to learn, but two general tips that help a lot: When you auto-hit, there's a small frame where you need to charge your next autohit; use that downtime to move instead of just standing or following automatically (stutter-stepping)

-You can use your body to block the enemies path, its especially effective in this game compare to something like League of Legends (bodyblocking)

He has very strong dmg for a tank, 2 slows and movement speed for his allies. Also literally the most mobile tank in the game so you shouldn't ever die except when you suicide to get your trait off. Early game your trait is supposed to make you trade evenly and late game you're a monster with more slows than anyone could ever ask for.

Be patient and aim better. There's commands to stop moving, but being able to cancel the cast time of any skill you start casting would break the game for a few heroes.

1. Never engage with entomb. Entomb is a seperation/disable meant to block the path of heroes who have no ability that allows them to get out, and as a tool to say 'Kill this one' or 'Kill these two'. If an enemy team member is a bit too far out of position, exploit their mistake with Entomb, but ONLY if at least 1 teammate is nearby.

2. Your order should be Q, W. W should be used primarily to keep you alive, not for the damage; unless some other target is very low, primary target should be anyone with a high HP pool.

3. March of the Black King used to be a good ultimate, but they reduced the hitbox on it so that it's difficult to land more than one or two hits; try to use it when you are retreating, but have a decent health pool; they will not expect you to turn them around and start bashing their faces in.

4. Leoric's basic attacks HURT. Learn to weave basic attacks in between abilities, and learn to stutter step so you can get in his surprisingly high attack damage.

5. Your E should be never be used to chase, unless the target is on comically low health. Even then, it's dangerous to use your only mobility tool to chase after one hero, as two more may be nearby trying to save him.

6. Try not to die. Though Leoric has a lot of tools that allow for him to get back from the grave quickly, you are not Murky; you give the enemy full EXP whenever you die, so you should be careful.

7. With that being said, Leoric is a tank that needs to get into the thick of it to be effective; choose talents that allow you to heal, like Ossein Renewal or his Q improvement talent that heals 2% per target hit. If you do end up dying, these talents will pay dividends.
