I really don't like their proposed light tank nerfs. They are going to kill light tanks, i mean all light tanks get nerfed. They nerf the mobility and hp they destroy the gun, they lose scout matchmaking thus reducing their profitability. They are bumped a tier thus increasing repair costs and shell costs. The tier 10 scouts are objectively worse than the tier 8 scouts of now.

So wargammings proposed "buff" to the light tanks will absolutely destroy them

There is quite literally ZERO reason to play a T8, T9 or T10 LT when the BC and TVP exist

The only way they can fix LTs and make them a relevant distinguishable class, a quite effortless move that requires zero dev resources, is to simply bump their max viewrange to 500 in contrast to all other tanks having 450. That's it - you now have an excellent scouting class that can stack viewrange skills/equipment and technically x-ray through every single bush in the game. The ultimate anti-TD.

Pz III/IV actually has better armor too. 110 effective armor on the UFP and 80 on the LFP makes it near invulnerable to lower tier tanks and gives it like a 50% chance to bounce a lot of same tier guns. Meanwhile the Pz IV has between 40-80mm all across the front.

Pz III J is the best tier 4 out of those, but you should really pick based on the line you want to go down because you won't be playing tier 4 for very long. The German tech tree is getting changed a lot in the next patch so basically go for whatever you want. If you don't know what you want, you could just try toward the Tiger P at tier 7, because that tank is going to unlock three different tier 8 tanks after the next patch, which will give you the most different options.

Or, if you just want a good tier 5 tank to play and learn the game, go for Pz IV A -> Pz IV D -> Pz IV H. The Pz IV H has the best derp gun at tier 5, so it's a good tank to keep around even after you grind up to the higher tiers.

It's literally one of the top three tier 6 tanks in the game. Granted the T37 is not as agile as the Chaffee or Bulldog, but it has a shitload of HP for a tier 6 light and an awesome gun. It straight up shits on the vast majority of other t6 tanks in clan wars and strongholds. It can penetrate O-Is frontally with APCR so it doesn't get fucked by turtle strats, it beats Cromwells at medium to long range due to vastly superior gun handling, and it's only slightly worse than a Cromwell in a straight on rush.

Just comparing to the other t6 staples, the Cromwell has an advantage of 70 HP 20 alpha damage, and a 10% DPM advantage over the T37, while the T37 has an advantage in gun depression, gun handling, view range, and it can equip a vert stab. Compared to the Type 64, the T37 has an advantage of 100 HP, 25 penetration, and the benefit of a vert stab whereas the Type 64 has the advantages of speed, camo, view range, and 10% more DPM because it gets a gun rammer.

tl;dr the T37 is strong as fuck.
