about the bonus hero system being whaler bait: I think the system has been decently fair so far. The first season had Alfonse and Sharena as bonus heroes so everyone theoretically could get bonus points by using one or the other. Sharena is actually a great character too.

the second season has narcian on there, and almost everybody has him unless they were underleveled for his event or started playing after it. it also has odin, which many people also probably have.

It's true that in many cases there may be more ideal characters to use, but it could be a lot worse. That said, the first season had like 10 or more bonus heroes whereas this one has a lot less. I don't really like that. I think they should keep the same number of bonus heroes for every season and it should include some oddballs/common characters.

How would ya'll feel if they added a focus and paralogue where a bow Anna, sword Anna, Lance Anna, and maybe a staff Anna were introduced? I don't know if the team comp's decent or I'm being memed. Most teams I go up against are just jacked with reds and it's easy to deal with, but I'm finding this a decent set up regardless.

This was my first run of the week. Had two deaths because both times were on the shitty 2-in-each-corner map and both times they cornered poor Julia and raped her in the butt.

I really profit from all the rerollers with 2-3 sword lords in their team. Not using Olivia this week really had me worry more about position and baiting and gave me a fresh new hate for double bridge cancer. I don't really have any trouble on the four corner map. I just focus the corner who I can easily overpowered before regrouping and surrounding the remaining two.

I always level Aran simply because he's the only one of the DB that can take a punch vs the Greil mercs. His speed is average but the rest is good.

And Edward is a very good unit if you take the time to raise him to max, but it's a fucking pain in the ass and Mia/Zihark can do basically the same work with much less hassle.

They should release Master Seals as a rare drop from Tenth Stratum. Every Hero has 2 class choices to upgrade to, level reset to 1 but keep stats and get some shitty gains while leveling to 40 again and a new skill or two.

Much more to grind getting the seals and releveling.

He's got good stats except for speed which wouldn't be an issue for him if he had something like Vantage or Hector's auto double when attacked 80% hp, or Weary Fighter to prevent people from doubling him like effie. But all his skills activate at half health, he's sturdy for a red but not so sturdy to stand up to everyone doubling him. Which gives him +4 def (fucking nothing, if it were something like +7 maybe it'd be a big deal, that'd push him up to 37ish which is a good tank level) and Brash Assault which makes him double, but the problem with Brash Assault is it only activates when he has half health or lower and then he's still got to eat a counter attack when he's already at half health before he can make the follow up meaning most of the time it's going to activate his opponent will kill him before he gets that second hit in, and if he does manage to win he'll likely be down at single digits so anyone could pick him off. He can't deal with ranged attacks, he can't deal with speedy characters, he can't one turn hector, and he's worse than any other 5* focus character in the game.

He looks cool and has a nice voice and all, but as a red he's awful.

I would just say play them both, but do Eirika's first. Ephraim's path is basically a side story that gives you a little more background while Eirika continues the main story with all the characters you already care about. It converges after a while, but unless you only care about the gameplay, you'd be missing more going with Ephraim.

The easiest circumvention is to just sacrifice her credit and do the voice. It's obviously her and her union likely knows she's doing it, but without actual blatant proof within the game (ie: credits) that it was her, they legally can't do anything about it.
