When I first installed the game I hated most of the couches, curtains, lamps, rugs, and beds. They're all so specific. And the kids bedroom set. Fucking ugly ass furniture with shitty decals. Thankfully the kids stuff pack added something nicer but I still have to rely on modding for nice simple furniture with a fucking bedspread that doesn't clash with the color of wood I choose to use and the rest of my room.

I also learned yesterday that the fucking bay windows don't have item slots on them. Whats the point of having all that surface if you cant put shit on it.

It's possible yeah but it's such a pain. The one I was using was the one with the diamond windows on it and all the surfaces I tried ended up either too high or too low into the window.

Plasticbox has something on MTS that adds slots to one of them. I might just have to learn how to put slots on shit myself though.

I can't remember if it was 2 or 3 but I had a mod in one of them that had these poles you could use to cheat the slots and add more shit to desks and whatnot.

How do you get your Sims to not look like shit in Sims 3? I'm happy with 4, but I tried to go back to 3 for a change recently and I'd completely forgotten how ugly the game was.

i do have toddlers, and it still seems to work.

time moves a little funny though, it will roll back periodically if i'm running the game on fastest speed and then come back to normal speed.

but the sims actions definately que faster if it is in the mods folder - i just tested it.

so maybe it's not working as intended but it's still better with than without it.

So I was the anon who had issues with eye mods before.

I downloaded some non default eyes that ended up showing in game but ended up not liking them so I got rid of them. I downloaded a few more different kind of nondefault eyes including one alien one, all of which were supposed to show up in face paint, and the only one that worked was the alien one.

The alien one is also the only one I can open in s4s. The others give me an error about the program not being up to date enough to open the package. So I'm wondering if maybe all the ones I've tried so far have been updated with vampires/toddler and that why they aren't working. Though I can't imagine why. I assume it's just a texture edit.

So I experimented with detective career a little bit more, and it seems like every couple of cases, the suspect becomes completely random.

So I finally found the easiest way to identify the suspect.

1. They will always be inside the lot when the map loads.
2. They aren't usually found in that lot when you visit it in normal circumstances.

I have been getting blond, teen, male, and mean a few times now and it's always been wrong. I went on to arrest the first person I see that doesn't look like they belong and it's always a successful arrest/interrogation.
