I had a knife battle with a twitch earlier and we did nothing but teleport around and behind each other.

Teleporting/bullet eating is an actual issue right now brought on by this patch and it's really bad; when people see a 1armor eat 6+ blackbeard rounds down a short hallway and he still comes out on top somethings wrong; when people die actual seconds after they run around corners somethings wrong, this is worse than usual.

In my experience Russians are quite good to work with. They know just enough English to make good calls but not enough to merit sitting there socialising in chat as if they're on Skype. When it comes to the French and Germans they're the absolute worst for just sitting there using the game as some sort of fucking find-a-buddy service. Its so bad that on the rare occasion when I meet a Kraut or frog with both positive WR and KDR its like I found a god damn unicorn. Hey guys can you give me a quick rundown of how good Ubisoft Montreal is at balancing their online games? I want to buy For Honor but sadly the guys are too shit at their own game so the fighting game community managed to break the game with just block/parry abuse on day 1.

What are the chances of this developer fixing the game to actually work at high level gameplay? Is it more likely that they'll ignore the problem and focus on milking the casuals with microtransactions?

you're slightly being memed on.

there are certainly some things which are broken ( servers, blitz hitbox etc.) which have been around basically since launch and some newer bugs (mira exploits mostly) but the newer one's tend to be patched out fairly quickly since having to pay 25K for broken operators makes for angry customers.

all that said, ubisoft actually does a fairly good job in trying to balance their game (giving IQ frags while giving cap something else in order to keep the # of operators with frags constant, buffing original operators like mute, fuze bandit and arguably tachanka) as well as nerfing thing that need to be (blackbeard one 800 health shield -> two 150 shields -> two 60 shields).

the one things that they will never change are things like operators stats (speed and armour ratings. see: kapkan) and maps (well, they'll fix map exploits, like getting under the stairs in yacht), but for other things like the number of destructible walls in a room or camera placements or stuff like that, what you get a at launch will largely be unchanged forever.

plus ubisoft tend to have less patches but they tend to be larger ( mid season reinforcements). i mean, we've known about the mira exploit for around 8-9 days and a patch still hasn't rolled out to fix it.

in short: they'll fix,buff and/or nerf characters and weapons, they'll fix map exploits but they won't drastically change map layouts, servers and certain character stats,

don't have time to go through the whole thread but thermite might be out there (see above link). the guys on there have done stuff like remove cav's facepaint and given valk a frost mask + beanie but i haven't seen anything for the gsg-9 unmasked.

this is mainly because (if i'm not mistaken) ubisoft didn't model anything (other than the teeth + gums) under the balaclava/mask/whatever you call them. so the awesome guys who a ripping/editing the models would need to model 50-75% of a characters face, which is a lot of work so i don't really blame them (retexturing faces is one thing, modeling + texturing one is another). besides, they've already done a lot and im thankful to them.

I bought drugman on a whim over IQ, I think I fucked up. The shotfun isn't great, the acog is OK. I usually play rook, and with acog mp5 so no big improvement there and the gadget isn't better than rook on most games either.

I guess I'll grind my way to IQ now as well.

As Bandit, listen for the sound of Thermite planting an exothermic charge on the reinforced wall and immediately plant your battery. If you're fast enough, you can electrify the wall and destroy the charge and prevent it from exploding, even if you can see the charge already igniting. It's not even racism at this point. Poland is very patriotic and proud. If there's going to be GROM in the game, we want it to be represented by Poles, what's the point of it otherwise.
