To all those who were giving me advice on what to do with my team to prepare for the event stuff, thank you. It's just a bit intimidating when other people are throwing out these really strong 5* and 6* abilities while you're stuck with some lifesiphons and full breaks. But this FF1 event is going to help allot in giving me more choices in what I can bring to a raid now that Garland has more then his ssb and I have a tank with a non default sb.

I can certainly do healslut in raids since I have Gordon with his resolve and Y'shtola with her wall and bsb. But even then it doesn't feel like i'm doing much after I throw out my sbs. Hopefully that feeling of being dead weight fades away now that I have more options then just Gordon and Y'shtola to bring along for raids as my best characters.

SBs help a lot with bursting them down. Garland's SSB knocked down Kraken to about 30% HP before it could do anything so it only got in one or two actions. My dudes were all level 65 so Ink actually just one shotted half my party through Protectga and Power Breakdown. The magic blink + res boost from Sarah's BSB (and the Power + Mag breakdown from Wol's SSB) also made Tiamat's damage manageable.

The only exception was 3*s being divided into the dumpster pool and the decent pool, but they changed that. 5*s may have slight differences too as there were minute percentage changes between some of them when JP revealed their rates (not sure what the case is now). Base 4*s as far as I know have never had such a division and it would make zero sense for Agrias to be in the dumpster pool if such a pool existed.

get refia some hp boosting equips like hp 10% or muscle belts and drop tilith for CoD. Omniveil cuts damage significantly. Stack it with focus/cheer and you should be able to do it. The final boss is just two headed dragon 2 so fight him accordingly. bring disease curing items, tents, mp items, etc..

Other than that, all I needed was Refia dual casting bar fira and bar blizzara since it's cheaper than Omniveil, and my CoD was on full barrage duty.

I prefer Refia because of full life, near the end one of my characters got swallowed and I didn't cast any spells beforehand, it's just RNG being RNG

I work with the SquareEnix customer feedback and satisfaction committe. We expected to see wishes for additional story DLC for characters, but not to this extent. We are being run down by request for Luna DLC, it's insane. In a significant portion of the filled in questionaires the sender expresses a desire to see Luna return to the story and to learn more of her past.
Originally we had planned to make a DLC date of sorts with her and Noctis along with a surprise at the end which would be retconned into the game during the fast forward/timeskip in Altissia, truth be told this was going to be part of the story in a previous version of the script but was written out due to time restraints and a fear of undermining Luna's character and making her too submissive. I am sure you can guess what it is, since you guys are smart.
We are now also exploring the possibility of including more Luna cutscenes in the game and perhaps making her a playable character during certain parts of the ordinary playthrough.

Luneth (F2P, I got it by hardpulling in the type-0 banner since I wanted four Jacks)
I gave him the Dragon Killer TM and pretty much geared him for attack (Sakura fubuki, enhancer and Blade Mastery)
I gave him Diabolos for two reasons, one, Ifrit is risky because that means he'd have -50% resist to ice, and two, that gives him access to Osmose so I can spam his ST skill without worrying too much.

CoD with Dual Wield
Omniveil duty against the spider, other than that Barrage spam, geared her for ATK as well, I DID give her Ifrit since due to her natural resistances, that lowers the ice ones to 0% (And ups fire to 100%, so it regulates the damage from the fire/ice breath)
I used comeback here and there too

Rain geared for HP (since he's dumb and likes to cover sometimes)
Undermine against the first couple of bosses, Leadership when Refia can't Embolden/Cecil can't Focus/Sacred Guard
I gave him Siren so if there's some downtime, I can cast attack song, that not only is a cheaper buff but also if he's singing that means he won't cover instead of Cecil

Cecil w/Golem
Tank duty, sometimes Focus, sometimes Curaja, sometimes LB, rarely auto attack for crystals, I casted Golem on the mantis and Abraxas too

Refia with Carbuncle
Dual Cast TM
Bar spells, healing duty, embolden sometimes, she only had to full life once

Friend
+700atk Noctis
Warp Break bosses/blindside for DPS, but usually start with Cover, if the rest of my team can kill the boss in that turn without his help he'll use jump to recover HP and HP

I am pretty damn sure I had an easier time with Abraxas' Double Break Breaths because her elemental mitigation is at 40%, while CoD is at 30%. Not to mention her 40% buffs to all stats were invaluable for the times I couldn't set aside Refia and Cecil for an Embolden+Focus combo.

She didn't even die that much since she was pumped with nothing but HP+10/15%

I think beating all the bosses in one go with the same setup isn't that hard with my comp, I just decided to use the zig zag method to optimize damage (Once I brought Noct with Excal, then another Noct friend with Deathbringer)
Besides we have to clear this for dailies so I didn't mind running ELT twice.

I think the esper placement is essential, Ifrit on CoD to regulate her to normal ice damage and null fire is huge (And then you can add the buff from bar spells)

My Refia is at 4752 HP and 376MP w/Carbuncle so that should work
