Cerius has innate dc so i think the cura rod or carbuncle can make her a secondary healer, plus bar-ga spells are always nice.

Yeah that's what I was thinking. Healing rod + Ramuh so she gets dura, imperil and dispel in her kit. She can cover two elemental resistances in one turn, including stone, wind and water through materias. Seems pretty good desu.
It may be worth losing the third dps or Cecil depending on the scenario.

I think mostly a joke/for product placement, but it's really unfortunate for Gladio's character. He was already used to promote the product placement of Coleman, so the cup noodle was kind of overkill. The other three boys soom to be much more liked compared to Gladio, mostly because A) he's used too much as a vehicle for product placement and B) his outburst against Noctis on the train made a lot of people label him as 'problematic >:(' because he's hurting poor baby Noctis, when in reality he's just doing his job and getting Noctis off his ass.

tl;dr, the cup noodle was funny but Gladio is terribly underdeveloped as a character because of it, and other things.

Pitioss = Pit of Eos. The stature of the lady at the bottom is a statue of goddess Eos, the devil statues are Ifrit, the beard statue at the start is Titan. You set Ifrit free with a rolling ball = you setting down Meteor and Titan catches it. Pitioss is basically Ifrits journey to the underworld to find Eos.

When you leave Pitioss the first think you see is Ravatogh which is Ifrit's and Eos's dead bodies, specifically Ifrit's horns and Eos's wing.

Basically its telling the story of how Eos (a goddess and creator of the world, basically Etro like in FF13) fell in love with Ifrit but was later killed, supposedly for loving and having children with a human (her children are suspected to be the distant descendants of the oracle and king). Pitioss specifically is telling the story of Ifrit descending into the underworld to save a dying Eos, who was so infected with darkness (the starscourge) that she ended up infecting the world. The gods all wanted to stop Ifrit from saving her, but in the end he does and burns both his and her body on a pyre that become Ravatogh. The Lucian crystal was believed to be Eos' heart and contains the last bit of pure light in the world, which was the whole purpose of Noctis' journey, to reclaim the light and bring the dawn back.

So basically everything began and ended with Ifrit, and for all that he's a dick its mainly because the other gods didnt like him, and he inadvertently saved the world.

Finishing Touch is a Quickstart card, that's why it has a + next to the level. It means that it can't be upgraded, but it starts with it's ability level maxed.

The skillseeds are based on the cards. You need to upgrade your cards' skillseeds with fusion, preferably with Cactaurs. In addition, though, there is a skillseed multiplier based on difficulty, Mobius Box, and your score.

You can inspect a card to see what skillseeds it generates. The one in my screenshot currently generates 14 wind skillseeds and 2 light skillseeds. I can fuse it with other wind cards or green cactuars to unlock its potential of 20 wind and 8 light. If I augment the card to 5* and do even more fusing, it will generate 35 wind and 21 light.

If you have a full deck of 5*, fully unlocked cards, farming skillseeds becomes practically trivial.

I'm not an expert on this because I don't have any legend jobs, but I think legend jobs like Soldier 1st class are able to use ability cards outside their normal job type and still get their magic bonus applied to the damage. I think Soldier 1st class is able to use both warrior and ranger cards to their full potential.

If you're shopping for cards that will generate dark seeds, you should go to the ability shop and click the info button in the top left until seeds are displayed. I think Hades(Drain) is the only support card that generates nothing but dark seeds, unless you were lucky enough to get the new darkshift card from an ability draw.

The critical retrieval extra skill on ranger cards makes them the best area attack cards. Every enemy crit by them refunds 2 orbs. If you crit 4 enemies with an area attack, you instantly get 8 orbs. If you have Soldier 1st, definitely plan on using ranger area attack cards instead of warrior ones.

Is Ring of the Lucii worth it? I can't justify it on noctis because I don't have access to the gear for 100% evade, and he'd lose out on important stats, and would never use Alterna. I can't justify it on Exdeath because I'd lose -20% MAG from earrings and Alterna spam is even less sustainable than Meteor spam. All I can think of is sticking it on my DC Refia for arena and some extra surviveability and at that point I can't decide if it's worth it at all.

That depends on the code. I believe Blizzard's Hearthstone is confirmed to be specifically programmed to give you a pity legendary card if you open enough card packs without getting one. The fact is everyone knows ffbe doesn't have what you call a "pity time" or "bad luck protection"
It shows in peoples rolls and we've had a large enough sample pool considering how long the game has been out.

I'd love some bad luck protection in ffbe desu, I had to reroll an account that was rank 50 when nocits came out because i still didn't have a single natural 5 and was out of mission lapis.

Alterna on Refia is not bad for arena and only arena. Her MAG can get decently high with pots, and sticking a MAG accessory on her doesn't hurt her important stats. With its high multiplier and the low stat requirement to hit damage cap, Refia can hit dual 999's with it.

And I do think his various outburst against Noctis was kinda messed up not because poor Noctis but mostly because we don't really see what Noctis was doing those months to justify the outburst, plus he's so underwritten so it seems like it comes out of nowhere. For all we know Noctis could've been acting like a complete Tidus, but all we have is Gladio's word and he's the one ranting. Plus blaming Noctis for hurting Ignis which again could be justified in hindsight but just seems like him being butthurt because we don't see any of that shit.

Plus the time when he was freaking out at Noctis for having headaches at Titan which again came out of nowhere due to how underwritten he was, which just makes him seem insensitive as opposed to inspirational like the scene makes it out as.
