Overwatch, despite all of it's issues, actually has pretty good netcode. They talk a lot about things relating to the netcode issues Siege has in vid related. There are a lot of things Siege could do to fix and improve on the system it currently have, but they'd probably have to rework an insane amount of core code, which would take potentially years.
I'd love to see it happen, but the most realistic thing we could expect is a budget increase in the server department since that is probably a big part of the issues related to latency in the game. Better servers aren't directly tied to game code, and we know that the Dev team isn't completely competent in terms of reworking old code.

Now disclaimer, I don't enjoy Overwatch at all personally, but it's not a poorly designed game, it's just horrible for pubs.
It's essentially a 6v6 strategy game in first person, the amount of mechanical skill you need to play a hero is minimal compared to other titles, but you need to rely and communicate with your team to protect each other not get stomped by your hard counters and enemy ults.

And that's the reason I enjoy Siege, because team cohesion and communication is number one, but high skill is given enough direct power that a single player can still make a difference on their own, even if their team is fucking off and making bad Operator picks.

Yep. Use a 3 speed of your choice and figure out a spawn that works for you and lets you sweep the whole building in a semi-linear fashion.
I use IQ now that she has frags for clearing out barbed wire, and the scanner is useful for spotting bombers.

Anyone got any thoughts on this?

I keep getting these weird polygons appearing on my screen when I play certain Operators.

It's really bad on Tachanka, noticeable on Bandit and a few others, but some operators like Hibana or Jager it's non existent. Nothing similar happens in drone mode and I've not noticed any other weirdness. Just heads.

It started happening after the latest patch. Nothing similar is happening in other games.

Sometimes I'll get to see a similar effect around the heads of other players.

The only thing I can think is they changed the heads in that last patch.

Well I tried it out on lowest settings, lowest FoV and imho it didn't seem to make any difference. It might have been slightly better, but not by any appreciable margin. Pretty frustrating desu. I don't play ebin meme man of useless placeable guns that often but that's not really the point. It's not nearly as bad on any other operator it's just distracting when you get a little flash of helmet/face/whatever in the corner of your eye.
I'm going to try completely removing my display drivers and reinstalling from scratch.

As for the card I think the retailer will exchange it and do the RMA themselves. They're pretty decent, I've done it with DOA RAM and a mouse before. However I know this was the last model of this card they had and as such it was dirt cheap. I doubt they'll replace it with a nice shiny 9/1080ti.

I know this gripe is still around from the early days, but they're actually a lot more viable than they were at launch.
Using them on the right guns and firing into an aim instead of waiting for the perfect accuracy to kick in can give you some really cheeky headshots in closer ranges, and if you're playing aggressively and not trying to hold angles the giveaway is next to impossible to actually notice ever since they removed the laser line.

The Vector aint that bad, but its horizontal recoil is just high enough to make spraying with it non-viable.
Use the flash hider on it to resuce hor. recoil, and just get used to pulling down in short bursts and it turns into a headshot machine

Because all it takes is one shot to the head and with a gun that has that high of RPM all you have to do is aim in the general direction and you will get a headshot eventually. A lot of the time if that headshot happens in the first 6 bullets it wont even register as being fired on the enemy screen.
