I have a friend who was 4k for a long time and then started to spam the old Underlord, before he was added to CM and nerfed hard. He quickly rose to low 5k and would tell me the reason he rose in MMR was because Underlord allowed him to lead his teammates with his superior game sense and knowledge. I never had the heart to tell him that Underlord was actually just completely and utterly overpowered.

Realistically, like $30 assuming you want to ever actually sell your courier. You might want to also consider hammering out the gems unless you want to use third party websites since selling unusual couriers through Steam Market is a nightmare since they are all listed under the same listing, regardless of effect.

Trying to sell unusual couriers, or even just the gem effects, are a huge pain in the ass in general though. It's significantly less hassle to just add $30 to your Steam funds.
