I'm using an Astra Katana (+35) and PP crafted Saiki set, neither is affixed yet though.
Double always takes me nearly 10 minutes and then I run out of time before I can kill PD. Is there any tricks to it that aren't obvious? I get my Katana Gear up and use Sakura Endo after getting to the weakspots on Double, PD I mainly Guren spam for damage. I really don't know what to do, I just lose so much time chasing Double's pimples back and forth

I was told to Guren spam if there is a wall you can use to lock yourself in place like in PD. Sakura Endo for general purpose, and Hatou if the enemy has multiple parts that it can hit.

Knock yourselves out. The extreme short of it is that guren is good if you need the mobility and weak spots don't exist or are easy to hit, Hatou if you can get all hits to connect, and Tsukimi > Gekka for max dps. Sakura Endo is good if you can hit multiple targets with it but the days of single target Sakura are long gone.

For PD, the fight is extremely friendly towards the Tsukimi > Gekka combo so you generally want to spend the fight doing that.

The rear and arm are each around 10m, so that's 20m combined, which is two, maybe three if you get unlucky, weeks of money COs. If that's an unreasonable amount of time and money for what is best in slot in 99% of situations right now then I don't know what to tell you.

You can easily make 10m a week just from COs if you have multiple characters. Fuck, even if you don't buy any extra slots and only have thre - just TACOs and Yerkes' Gathering COs on their own are already 7.5m a week. Daily COs easily move that figure upwards of the 10m mark.

PD isn't any better. During the 2nd phase, the 3 arms just do so much shit, you spend too much time dodging, with very few openings to attack. If you're not getting grabbed by the claw arm, then you're getting stunned by the shooting arm or get trapped between two walls. Same with PD, since every single arm is out to fuck you, you can't focus on the little eyes and whoops time for another super attack. Of course Segac didn't think to tweak the AI routine to match solo play, that might have required effort. At least I survived long enough to time out to PD.

And for the record, your Mag feeding should go something like this:

1) 9* Weapon
2) 9* Weapon
3) Corresponding MyRoom Item

When you feed your Mag a weapon, it raises both the matching Attack stat, as well as gaining a little Dex. Dex is used to average out your damage range, but you don't need a lot of it, so it's a waste on your Mag. By feeding it a MyRoom item every third feeding, you lose any Dex that had built up. The rarity of the MyRoom item raises one of the three Attacks, while lowering Dex.

Strike = 4*
Ranged = 5*
Tech = 6*

Putting defense on your mag is for losers. You can buy 9* weapons on Player Shops for dirt cheap, 1k a pop. MyRoom items rotate in its NPC shop, otherwise whenever you see 1-3k items in stacks of 999 for sale on Player Shops, it's for Mags. The fastest way to level a mag is using Food Devices. To get those you'll need to be able to get Photon Spheres, which can be earned buku by end-game by trading in 10* weapons at the Recycle Shop, but you won't be getting those for a while.

The real issue is that Sega has been intent on making the hamster wheel move at mach speed with collection files that last 1-3 months and all this rehashed content to farm it with. I have to imagine there are playing getting fatigued by this. For my own sanity I'm probably just going to sit out of ray altogether so I can take a break from playing non-stop for months.

At this point there's literally no reason for Ray sheets not to be permanent. There's also barely any reason for Union to exist, seeing as it's yet another fucking sidegrade that doesn't fill the powergap between Astra and full power Gix, both of which were a lot more accessible for months. There's been ten per week or so since the Valentine's event started, although this week there are only six.

Now they will probably dial back on PDs next week and put more Mothers back in exchange, but I suppose there's no guarantee of that.

I doubt we'll ever be back to the fifteen or so when it was brand new but that's probably to be expected.

We haven't unlocked all the panels but I wouldn't be terribly surprised if a Mother boost was under one of the last few too, actually, which should help speed things along.

The times don't help either. Half the mothers are right around this time and the other half are 16 hours from now. It's just impractical to hit more than half of them at best which leaves you with less than one sheet filled per week at this rate.

Really it's only an issue because I got greedy though. I tried to replace nearly everything including my gix with astra so I have a storage full of 31-33 astras and no completed ones.

Sword hu seems like a really good pick I was leveling FI to go FI so I need a strategy to be more defensive since like you my damage wont be up to par since my gear won't be all that. Since the retards at sega decided gearing should be time based instead of grind based like EXP you can hit 75 in less or around a week depending if you are a current player or fresh but it will take months to get a decent set of gear due to all of these lockouts and timed shit.

That is what you do for weak drink, yeah. For PA drink you'd actually want to use the ex drink since the main effect is +20 PP and it's not that expensive anyway. Best way to reset them is having someone with a locked room in your team or friendlist.
