How much time are you willing to wait? There's probably a hundred units right now in the game. The chance of getting the same twice and at higher rarity is pretty low.
And that requires spending orbs. Right now you can probably do just a few 5 pulls, like 4 or 5 max. Then new ones will come out.

If you've got nothing to do you can rank up 3* to 4* every week, to 5* after a few unless there are events. Waiting for a chance to get a better version isn't really an option.

I'm fairly certain that there isn't an actual difference in the result. Rather, the Focus 5*s are just the ones that have the extra chance of appearing in whichever Focus you choose. For example, Camilla's in the 5* pool regardless of which Focus you pick, but picking the one with her in the Focus gives her an extra chance of showing up because she's in both the normal 5* pool and the Focus 5* pool.

I plan on having Effie as a General, then getting Effie and Mozu to A+ and making Mozu a General. I gave Mozu the Paragon skill and I made Azura into a Witch so that she can get Warp.

I want to beat the Vanguard Dawn DLC when I can so that I can make my character into a Vanguard, is this viable? I don't know if Vanguards are good but I pretty much love the idea of the class
