What can I do to get more value as Widowmaker?

She's a lot of fun but it feels like I'm always letting my team down. She's one of my lowest winrate heroes that I actually play.

Is it just a matter of acquiring proficiency? I've been winning more lately and it seems to have mostly to do with getting more kills.

Ok guys I'll lay it out for you. If you're in "Elo Hell" you have no one to blame but yourself. Half the games I've played at this level, the other team (or my team if we lost) could have easily won by picking non-trash characters. No fucking shit you lost when you ran 4 dps 1 tank 1 heal and 2 of the dps were some combination of Junkrat/Genji/Widow/Hanzo. If you play any of these characters regularly in comp and notch about Elo Hell, you're part of the problem. If you complain about people being "meta fags" or whatever and pick off meta heroes, you're part of the problem and deserve to be stuck at your shit rank. It's fuckig laughable how often I see dipshits complain about losing when 90% of the time the game was lost before the round even started. It's literally one of the startup tips "a good team composition etc...".

Yes I realize once you are at a high enough rank (diamond) the meta stops being as important because player skill can compensate for an off meta pick (and then you get to Masters/GM where an off-meta pick can once again lose the round before you even start) However, in "Elo Hell" you don't have that skill, or else you wouldn't be stuck there.

Basically if you aren't going out of your way to make the team as strong as it possibly can be before even leaving the starting gate, you're part of the problem and don't deserve to escape Elo Hell. Positioning and mechanical skill comes with play time, but Overwatch is a team game, and if you have a shit team composition you deserve to lose.

Basically, you can fuck yourselves if you cry about Elo hell (unless you are a support/tank main, then god help you and best of luck)
