It's been a few years, but I remember enjoying the first two but also distinctly remember hating where they went in their last couple of chapters. They also felt the need to make a few of the characters incredibly insuffererable nd obnoxious and then make those characters survive to the end solely for the sake of being unpredictable which pissed me off.
But AE and DR3 were absolute dumpster trash and turned me off the series so fucking hard, it felt like the cranked up the edginess to have added shock value and threw the murder-mystery aspect out the window, despite it being the best part and the main draw of the series. And then the writing just went pure shit because the writers just stopped trying and packed them full of some of the most awful """twists""" I've ever seen.
I thought V3 *might* have a chance at being good since it was a return to the old formula and claimed to be a reset on the series plot, but after having beat it just a few days back, dear fucking god I was wrong. It might be the worst one yet, worse than DR3. Nobody should waste their money on that trash, especially not if they also thought DR3 was bad.
I might go replay the first two soon and see if they were garbage too and I'm just misremembering them as being decent because I just can't believe how much the series plummeted otherwise.

I tend to prefer Japanese or equivalent "original language with subtitles" for most things but with games I'm usually on the fence since many games have a lot of dialogue in the middle of action scenes where you're meant to focus on the gameplay, so you can lose focus or miss dialogue easily in places. In fighting games I feel like it's easier to learn sound cues in english too.

I'll play a game in original language if the dub sounds bad to me or if I really like the Japanese voice actors. Like anything with Miyuki Sawashiro I'll play in Japanese if given the choice. Though I have grown a liking for Sarah Anne Williams lately too.

Berseria was a bit of a coin toss for me. I like both Rina Satou and Cristina Vee (especially since Vee voices pic related) so I just went with whatever.

Dusty Tokens in Gravity Rush 2 are currently multiplied by 5x. Completing a Treasure Hunt now gives 15 tokens instead of 3, getting a "Nice" for a photo gives 25 instead of 5, having someone find treasure from your photo gives 100 instead of 20, etc.
If you want the high-tier rewards, now would be the time to start grinding since they'll go back to normal value on the 7th.

Time dilation. Kat was away from Eto for 100 years in Eto time, but that was only like 3ish years in Hekseville time. Same way she went to Boutoume in GR1 for a week and came back to Hekseville and a year had passed/same reason Raven is now older than her adoptive older brother.

The pillar has time dilation, i.e. the further up you go the faster time moves, possibly a side effect of the black ocean (gravitational time dilation is a real phenomenon).
Remember from the first game where Kat went down to the school bus and when she got back up a year had passed.
It's the same with Eto, to her it only feels like months have passed since she left, but since she has been spending time further down the pillar many years have passed at the top.

I assume levels are relative to the digimon's digivolution tier, since I can beat level 26 DemiDevimons, but the level three RedVegiemons on the forest path are still a problem for my ultimates, but the level eight DemiDevis don't seem any weaker than the 26s.
I also can't tell if moves have damage modifiers without telling me, too. I had those same DeviDemis hit me with dark spirit or whatever it's called and do like 50 damage, but then hit me with something else and do 700, neither time showing me a multiplier.

This game is so confusing.

You grind mr shakedown. First you level up the battle shit on the shrine so he gives you more money, than you do the miracle johnson sub event where you get the encounter finder so you always know where mr shakedown is and then you start grinding. Lose all your money to him, beat him up to get 150% back and repeat that step until you're rich. You can easily kill him with slime guns, 2-3 of them take him down on his highest level in a minute or so.

Recently got a PS4, just completed platinum Bloodborne. Do other games I platinum give me themes like BB did?
It wasnt so hard. It was my first Souls-like game and I had no real problems except at the beginning with those big mobs of monsters and the warewolves on the bridge. Then again fuck cursed chalice Dog and Amygddala.
