Hell, the strengths of CG is that it' a constant mixing pot. One of the common themes in CG is that the girls are always on brand new adventures and discovering new things.

This. A good way to chisel a character's personality is to put him or her in a myriad of situations and with different other people to see how he or she would react with each one respectively. Maybe the character has absolutely no reaction whatsoever with a certain other character, or maybe even a giant reaction that you don't understand and it's a mystery to the uninformed POV and possibly the other characters.

Unfortunately, a lot of anime does a lot of blanket reactions where a character reacts the exact same way with everybody unless it's A REALLY IMPORTANT CHARACTER TO EVERYBODY(tm), which ignores the possibility that a character can be a bit two-faced, if not heavily two-faced.

Hell, I don't always talk the same way to everybody I meet at work, and I'm not always around the same people because it gets repetitive and stale. But some people are either scared of being around not as familiar people or have a strange fetish for doing the same thing over and over again like a meme.

The point I'm TRYING to get to, anyway, is that anime writing sucks donkey balls. Oh yeah, and whether you like it or not, you might not learn something new about a character but you may get a clearer picture of what you thought you knew in a term I cornily called "personality chiseling". So too bad if you don't like if a character is hanging around someone she isn't normally around.

You have to consider that the Anime =/= Deresute =/= Mobamasu continuities are independent from each other. In the Deresute continuity, that was the first time that those quintet gathered together.

And going back to Nono, she has been thrown with the sweet and gentle girls (Yasuha, Yumi, Yuuki), the overeager and slightly terrifying cakes (Kiyora and Natsumi) and theres the under the desk gang too. Nono actually has a varied entourage under her resume. And hell, beyond that Shiny Numbers episode and the non-canon edgy shenanigans of Dream Stairway, have Nono and Rin even starred in the same event before?

And just to help that one anon's autism, it's not like the events are the only interactions the idols have with each other. Idols even not featured in a particular event interact in the 1komas/5komas. In Deresute's case, it's actually revealed that Uzuki and Hasumi are on good enough terms to the point that Hasumi has already hanged out at Uzuki's place (and made quite the impression on Shimamama to boot).
