Please explain Spectre's 3-4k Winrate despite this team fight meta?

Whenever I play Spec my team drafts heroes to compensate and ball out of control creating tons of space. By the time I'm online the rest of the game is cruise control and I did nothing of note besides Kill steal with haunt.

Can someone please explain to this guy what starving the enemy is? he wanted to push high ground at 20 minutes despite us having complete control of the map

on the plus side everyone but lesh wasn't retarded and just free farmed everything for 10 minutes then ended the game

manta->skadi is pretty amazing for siege tactics, the bonus crit is purely for the illusions

the +20 or 30 MS talent helps a lot as well with getting the illusions around to farm, I felt like an alchemist for a few minutes there

my FX 8 core can only run dota at around 100fps average, they finally fixed the 7.00 performance issues

the issue is dota uses 8 threads, but most of the work is done on Core 0, and further more my CPU core 0 is never 100% utilized while running dota, very strange

in any case running dota that low and introducing a bottleneck means my GPU never really has to do any work

Will be upgrading to Ryzen whenever that drops though

Not really. Sometimes I do when they're feeding out of control before 10 minutes because then I can't do anything. Other than that I blame myself. I have a 80% winrate on spectre at this mmr right now but I only play like 1 ranked game a week because it's so stressful. The rest of the time I play unranked games in a stack full of 3k players. Sometimes I play carry and sometimes support in that stack.

the difference from ~2k to ~4k is gigantic.
I know my gf played a bit of dota and was 1,5k mmr. I boosted her acc to 3k until i got bored.
Anyone 3,5k+ can probably 1 vs 9 every game sub 2k mmr.

Best advise I can give you to climb is find 3-4 versatile picks that are strong this patch and spam those in ranked.
watch your replays, analyze the situations were you got ganked or died in a fight.
You will start to see the mistakes you made.

For the couple of weeks me and my friends experience that matches are not in the same MMR range. Lets say they are 50 MMR off which causes you to get less MMR when you win, and lose more MMR when you lose. Here is some evindence from my last maches: http://imgur.com/a/QBfLo
The ideal scenario is to get +25 MMR for a win, and -25 MMR for loss. In this case, I won 6 games and lost 2, that means I should get 100 MMR. Unfortunately, from this 8 games, I won 133 MMR and lost 53, which is 80 MMR instead of 100. In other words, I have to win 1 more game to get to the MMR I should be at.
Another strange thing I found here (these matches were all SOLO MMR, no party of 2 were included) is that I never get the good matchup. What I mean by this is that I always end up in a team with higher average MMR and I get less for a win.
Just look at the picture, in only 2 games I received/lost 25 MMR because of perfect balance. But in the other 6? I was always in a disadvantage! Imagine If I lost the games where I received +20 and +21 MMR, that would be -30 and -29 for me and +29/+30 for the enemy. I dont understand why I never get the balance on my side. I suspect that "soft region lock" might be the cause of this, which is not a good sign...
Anyone else experience the same problem?

you have this all backwards m8, you aren't in any disadvantage by getting matched WITH COMPETENT TEAMMATES.Yes you do get less MMR but the other side of this is if you get matched with all of the shitters on your team exclusively, you can't win these matches, there is no possibility of +29 or +30 regardless of what position you play.

The matches where all of the shitters are on one team is not even because of MMR ultimately since (i assume you play on NA) there aren't enough players at ~5k MMR range to actually match your MMR what will happen is behavior score will match all of the players with low/negative behavior score on the same team (these players can have any MMR down to 3k in extreme cases lower) and you get placed on the team that doesn't have bad behavior scores (these players tend to have higher MMR in general).

Sure you stand to gain less MMR for every win but the reality of it is if you get matched with the team full of low/negative behavior scores, YOUR ARE NEVER WINNING THESE GAMES.

This is an instance of not enough players at your MMR range (5k) because well the game is dying and your playing on NA where most people are 3k and lower and so the only thing left to match afters failing to match according to MMR is behavior score. Its very valve this is a recent result of Valve tinkering with the matchmaking system to avoid people on reddit crying about 40+minute queues on North America, and YES YOU WOULD HAVE THESE PROBLEMS EVEN AT HIGH 4K.
