Aero III is always worth it in single target. If you look at it based on MP per potency, Aero III is just as efficient as both Aero II and Aero. Plus, it's a total of 370 potency, stronger than many other dots in the game.
Also like the other anons have said, don't wait to use your MP recovery skills on cooldown. Shroud is always going to recover 3535 MP and Assize will always recover 10% of your total, so keep those in mind for when you need to use them. And don't be afraid to get gear with piety and/or meld it in if you're not already at accuracy cap.
