So I just recently bough a really big mousepad and tried to use a low sens (5 ingame and 1000 dpi).
I saw that pros use it for characters like Widow or McCree that need a good aim. Still I don't know if this is okay for character with high mobility like Genji or Tracer in fact I see that I reach the end of the mouspad quite fast with them.
Suggestion? Should I concentrate only on one kind of characters, find the right balance or leave it as it is?

The delay sounds like a good idea, actually. Maybe 1.5 seconds. It would induce a state of panic and dread that would fit his character's sadism. The idea would be to synergize turning on friendly fire and then trigger an offensive ult in the middle of the team. Reaper would be especially vulnerable to this

Yeah I'm not sure how to make this ult reliably trigger enemy ultimates without giving him knowledge about enemy ults, but yeah that's a little op I admit. Maybe a Q highlight over an enemy like Zen's discord appears.

I have lost 400 ranks today with one or two honest losses peppered in among the leavers, intentional down rankers, level 25s. It's fucking awful. I have climbed 2000-2500 so many times this season alone, and it's always the same fucking story. It's fucking horrible.

There absolutely needs to be a retooling of how people are punished in games with a leaver. I am losing 40+ SR per loss at this rank (and about 25 per win). I do not understand why I deserve to lose so much rank for a genuine loss, let alone one from either an orchestrated down rank or just because someone got mad.

I fucking hate this game.

I don't really understand how to play DPS in this game. I've been playing Soldier and McCree and I can only get my rank to 3,036 which is pretty bad.

At the start of the match, I always feel like I am useless. I shoot at enemies that just walk behind reinhardt's shield and then heal themselves. I get zero eliminations for a while into the match and my eliminations are usually silver. I don't know how to finish kills. Is it normal for pro players to get random pick-offs even when the enemy has 2 healthy tanks there? I feel like it is impossible.

At my rank the tank players are getting better and they just stop me from killing anything. I don't know what to do.

Roadhog is the most confused and incoherent hero design in the game by far.

It is a "tank" hero that does no tanking whatsoever. Ridiculously high damage. Ridiculously high disruption of enemy team.

When you look at Roadhog, it just seems like Blizzard doesn't know what they wanted him to "do".

Why should the Roadhog hook combo be an instant kill? Isn't pulling an enemy far out of position and into your entire team enough? That would put Roadhog closer to a "tanking" role because he has to be more reliant on his team, and must stay with his team in order to help him finish kills. If he's near the team, he is defending the healers, and mitigating damage by killing flankers (pseudo-tanking, in his own way). As it stands, one of the most optimal ways to play Roadhog is as a solo flanker, which by design offers zero tanking to your team.

They really need to rework this character because it's a retard-proof free kills every 6 seconds which is just fucking dumb. It hurts the game design.

I agree that Overwatch is painful to watch sometimes. One of the main culprits of annoying visual pollution is the fucking lights on the maps. Go to Gibraltor and look at the stupid lighting fixtures that come off the floor. The little tiny ass lights put a giant bloom effect across your entire screen. There is no reason for it and it really hurts your eyes. It's very noticeable if you come back to OW from another game.

He would be threatening enough if all he could do was pull a loner into your whole team once every 6 seconds and not kill them instantly.

The threat mechanic you're describing would be powerful enough while Roadhog is using his ultimate. When Roadhog uses his ultimate everyone wants to focus him down. He also charges this ultimate just about once every 30 seconds, if not faster. That right there in my opinion is PLENTY enough threat mechanic to justify him as a tank. Your team is about to break, you Whole Hog and aggro the enemy team, your team recovers. Roadhog acts like an off-tank who draws aggro for a crucial 6 to 8 seconds while the rest of the team recuperates.

That is the good part of the hero that I think works.

Now when you have that, but also reliable killing every 6 seconds, that's just not acceptable. Only Offense heroes should have that amount of killing power at the ranges the Roadhog has.

That's why we see the tank meta now, because we don't have any hero like that. There is no backstabbing in this game so the "Heavys" just walk around killing infinitely.

Also the Heavy is extremely slow and only kills at close to close-mid range. I would say Roadhog's range is much longer than that

Overwatch has a bad Tank problem because it's so much rewarding to play Tanks than DPS
As a DPS, you're open to a lot of threats and can easily get out-1vs1'd if you'd not good enough
On the other hand, Roadhog and Zarya have enough damage to do the jobs of a DPS, and aren't bothered by the annoyances of 1HKOs, such as Widow/Hanzo, or even Roadhog himself
Not to mention their kits are better than half the DPS characters anyway, the hook can decide a teamfight with a good pick and Zarya's bubbles to do the opposite, saving a teammate (and herself) from a sure pick
They are also complimented by Ana existing, to add to the fire

They have better survivability and kits than most characters, so until something gets done there will always be a heavily Tank influenced meta
Maybe make Roadhog more dependent on his teammate with reducing Damage could be an option, but I dunno what you'd do with Zarya
Zarya needs her damage, take that away and she'd be utterly useless besides her Ult

And D.Va is strong precisely because she has the armor/hp pool to dive for the kill and fly away to be instantly healed up by Ana. If played right, you need like 2 hard counters (zarya/mei) at the same time to reliably shut her down.

Ana has way too much in her kit. This cannot be argued. She's way too powerful and versatile.

This is what should be done:

1. Remove the heal boost and debuff from her Grenade. Give them to two new characters, a Support who doesn't heal itself but provides a boost for other healers, and an Offense/Defense who can debuff healing.
2. Remove Sleep Dart and give it to an Offense/Defense who specializes in status conditions: Slow, Sleep, Poison, Blind, etc.
3. Replace Sleep Dart with something that can protect her, like a personal blind she sets up that absorbs some damage and then collapses and she can vacate it when things get overwhelming.

A shitty hero. He isn't like the Spy or Sniper at all. He is better at general fighting and much worse at killing high HP heroes.

-Against Roadhog he has an even matchup for fuck's sake.

-Dva just flies away from him.

-Reinhardt can play mindgames by alternating shield with hammer swings, which reaper will eventually win but he will also sustain 150 damage. Reinhardt can also go for a cheeky Charge that kills Reaper instantly, or can distance him to safety.

-Zarya probably struggles the most against Reaper but can still do a very high amount of damage to him before dying depending on her charge level

-Winston has the option to jump away. This is a hard one to call. Some pros think that Winston actually counters Reaper due to mobility, others think Reaper counters Winston due to shutting him down at his job by protecting the back line
