QP or comp? The solution to stubborn DPS who are being ineffective in comp is either babysitting them or playing triple-DPS chicken: swap a support or tank for DPS. It's not ideal, but it gives you a path to victory. If you can steal all his gold medals in the first 30 seconds (and you usually will) then it increases your chances of him eventually swapping roles.

Regarding the babysit method: Sticking a tank and support on them can help shitter DPS do well. A common scenario is when you're getting raped by the Pharah and your hitscan isn't killing her. Stick a Zen or Mercy onto your hitscan, and have a D.Va exclusively focused on keeping rockets off your shitter.

For shitter Genjis, sending a D.Va or Winston in there with them, and having Zarya bubble him and Zen pocket him and discord his targets.

What planet do you live on? Doing that guarantees they tilt, shift the blame on the team, and throw the game.

Like, if he's having a bad game he might realize at some point and switch, but if you give him excuse by switching a healer or tank to dps, he'll just think he's doing bad because the team isn't supporting him and stay the course or start throwing. And if he's a bad player and not just having a bad game, he still got to your mmr, so maybe think about that for a second.

Best you can do if one of your dps is shit is play a comp that assumes you're playing 5 vs 6(which is triple tank ana lucio/zen in current meta), and treat everything he does as a bonus. And when he ults actually fucking support them because hey, free ult.

It's a last resort. You're in a losing game, negotiations have failed. Babysitting him failed. "triple tank ana lucio/zen" plus the one trick has already failed, that's why we've come to this point.

Stealing his role and playing chicken with someone who refuses to swap is a path to victory. I've had them go Symmetra, Torb or Bastion in protest, but I've also had them swap. Dramatically and instantly outperforming them does increase the odds of a swap.

My best guess for location would be England, since they were shown stealing the crown jewels (could also be Mexico, but as far as I know no one figured out they were behind the robbery in Dorado until after the fact). Unfortunately, I wasn't able to find any information on their procedure for this sort of thing. Kaplan would probably chalk it up to artistic exaggeration or something.

According to some of the websites I found, Junkrat's missing roughly 8.2% of his "true" body weight, so if my math is right he'd be closer to 169 pounds with all his limbs intact. That's still not much, but it does push him into a normal BMI for someone of his height.

Will the tank meta actually end with all the ptr nerfs? Ana's doesn't seem like enough to stop her from topping off tanks, but the D.Va and Hog nerfs might be enough to sway the meta.

With more heroes able to meaningfully damage D.Va, and with Ana's focus healing becoming slightly less obscene, we may see less reliance on Road.

By the way, something people aren't really talking about is nerfing the grenade makes Ana easier to kill when another support is on her. Harmony on Ana used to do to heal 60 dps while the grenade was active on herself. Mercy 120 dps, Lucio 25 dps (72 dps amped).

I am probably average at best in terms of mechanics but I am pretty good at team coordination, ult economy management, etc. I only play solo bUT managed to climb to masters quite handily by coordinating the more mechanically talented but less strategically aware members of my team. It's important to be calm and collected and not sperge out if you want to play that way, though. Zarya, Rein and Lucio are good picks for it because you have important initiation tools in your kit so you can get your team to engage.

Mechanic skill plays the least, you can't solo carry no matter what. Even aimbotters regularly see their shit kicked in.

Decisionmaking and timing play a bigger role, especially on payload/hybrid maps. Still important in every other game mode, but to a slightly lesser degree.

And teamwork is the most important. Take the most op flavor of the month, Soldier. No matter how good the soldier, if he doesn't coordinate with his team, he's gonna have a rough time unless every single member of his team can read his plays without asking.

Well considering this is a team-based shooter, teamwork/communication are the most important aspects by far. Every time my teammates refused to work together, our chances of losing dropped dramatically.
Second would be decision-making/timing in my opinion. The best tactics fall underneath the first category, teamwork and communication, so not only do they rely on that but they can determine a loss or a win in the blink of an eye. For example, wasting all of your ults at once instead of only using the ones you need can actually hurt you later on in the game so it's best to know when and how to use your abilities so you aren't caught with your pants down later.
Lastly of course is mechanical skill, and I say this because the game in its current state rewards low mechanical skill far too heavily. Characters like Roadhog, Symmetra, and Lucio are easy as fuck to play while being incredibly effective at what they do whereas characters like McCree, Widowmaker, and Sombra are relatively useless due to their unforgiving nature. If the game wasn't designed the way it was, I would probably reverse the order of these categories.
I'm lacking in mechanical skill but I'm usually pretty good at decision-making and teamwork so I tend to play characters like Reinhardt and Lucio (my two most played characters, by that effect) to let my teammates due to the dirty work and instead help them in ways that let them be more effective and safer in their approach.

A bad Genji is easily the worst hero in the game though. No damage, no Utility, and will die non-stop or take health packs without doing anything productive, a bad Soldier can atleast Q and Heal. a Bad genji is just an annoying fly.

Not really, I'd have to agree with the other anon who says tanks deal way too much damage. Even with the nerfs, Zarya can still decently maintain her charge high and thus deal loads of damage on 400 HP with half being shields. Roadhog deals way to fucking much damage to the point of deleting most of the cast with a single wombo combo, he's basically a better reaper right now. Now add Ana to the meta, the one character that can maintain these fuckers alive for an obnoxiously long time and you have this triple/quad tank meme meta.

genji is mobile but only at long range can he really dodge the hook, you just need to be absolutely certain he doesn't have deflect ready. Don't hook tracer when she's just looking at you, you pretty much have to predict when and in what direction she'll blink and be ready to hook then. honestly genji isn't that much of an issue if you miss, but tracer can melt you if you let her in close.

For both of them, don't throw the hook as soon as you see them unless they haven't seen you. They will play really cautiosly until you hook and miss and then go for the kill, but if you hold back on the hook they usually hold back too.

I play a bit of ana and honestly feel like landing the sleep dart is a bit hard on mobile threats. The nade, on the other hand, fucks them over way too much, tracer is risking to get killed by a body shot and even Genji has to play very carefully and often retreat if they don't want to risk too much.

Dva is only really able to be effective at close range, she wins most 1v1s right now because lol 600 hp with 400 being armour. She's already having her damage slightly nerfed, don't know if stripping her of 200 armour was necessary.

Zarya is a monster on high charge and you know it. Maybe decrease the overall damage she does, by increasing the chrageless damage she does but reducing how much she gets from charge?

unless the other team has retard junkrat spamming zarya doesn't often stay at 80+ charge. In my experience she is usually hovering around 40 or so for most of the game. If you let her get high charge it's your own teams fault. Buffing her low energy damage would be awful.

I don't mind how she is now, it works much better than it did pre-nerf. But I think they should've been so she gets more charge from her own barrier and less from the one she puts on other people. Right now it's a free 40 charge or whatever just by bubbling winston as he leaps in.
