I've got about 4.5k and have 3 T10 unlocked, only 1 (Yamato) actually bought and used (other two are Gearing and Montana). I'm Very close to the DM but I don't plan to buy it either and I dont recommend that grind as the Batlimore is pure suffering.

I never used Free XP on any of the lines I have T10 other than a for a few hulls. I also never have paid Premium time, so take all this for what you will on time line. Best recommendation is focus on a line and play it till you get it, don't be afraid to use a stock ship (as in, I rarely would get the non-required hulls or FCS's or other items), and don't buy preimumns. They are more or less worthless as they dont unlock other ships at all.
