I used to have Veteran Lancers instead of Fervid but I replaced them for more speed. Anything with a bunch of wards is a bad matchup. Midrange/Control Necro is bad because they can Unica and Necroassassin to stop you in the beginning and then Death's Breath to basically kill all your chances of winning. Matchup against Aggro Vampire is probably even, or maybe whoever goes first wins. Good matchups against anything not running a lot of wards, which is why it's good for climbing right now because Dorothy doesn't run any.

No I don't sorry, but the mod is only 3 files, just download it and install it and if you don't like it then simply uninstall it. Even if you're not sure about it, it doesn't affect the in-game model yet, so it really only had a major effect when you're playing Luna.

I like Howl's, you can attack with the ghosts then sacrifice them for draws. It's my favorite combo.

8pp for 2 guaranteed follower removals is too much of a waste. There are better cards in Shadowcraft that do the same. And there aren't many cards that can survive a 4point body blow for the first 6 turns.

If you do get to that point in late game when everyone is dropping their game winning cards, you should have your own by then or you fugged up some where.

I feel like the prebuilts should be based on leggo value and artwork.

Forest gives you tia and ancient elf which are almost always used. Shadowcraft gives cerb and lotf. I feel like these are the two best values. Blood is ok if you want to play control.

sword has otohime which is kinda fallen off so far this exp. rune has mythril golem which I've never even seen in play before. Dragon has both forte and fafnir which I guess opens up a few deck styles. Havencraft has jeanne which no one ever uses.

Blood and haven have best art imo.

QUESTION

A friend of mine wants to play the game so I want to gift him an account so he can start somewhat strong, at least with enough shit to make at least one or two good decks.
He is interested in playing Forest because he likes an all girl deck and shit with cute waifus.
After several rerolls I got pic related.

Is this okay for a new player?
Im pretty sure he wants to buy the 3 Forestcraft decks so I guess the regular Elf is auto dust, and Prince and Gabriel are auto dust tier too now. So that's like 3-4k dust

Well I've yet to run to a situation where I needed Conscription. In any case spells should be kept minimum for a class which relies on follower synergy.

Two Conscription is usually sufficient, but the class also relies on low cost followers to flood the board and you can run out of cards to play if you don't win by turn 4/5. Conscription gives you a shot to pull a storm follower to finish them off.

You gotta decide how to spend your countdown finishers and value it against your combo at turn 8, deciding how many resources you can allocate.

Spend too little and you risk dying before turn 8.
Spend too much and you risk not being able to combo in time.

Aggro don't have a literal I win card. They can and will run out of steam unless they seal the game with what they have, especially blood. They are the fastest but also one of the most inconsistent. Either put them to low health or efficiently trading would held them off, which Seraph excel at both. Only now can they gain a bit more fighting chance.

People actually try to play the tempo game in A0 and above. So removal and fighting for board control is alot more important. Dropping elana is a tempo loss and people will take advantage of that in A0.

The only times i have ever seen aggro make some sort of choice that required some form of intelligence was playing around aoe and keeping health out of removal lvls like banish effects.
But thats it, from there their game is set, and they just do their thing while they hope they dont brick.

The other person (in this case a seraph) have to be reactive, and reactive plays usually requires much more thought than pro-active, at least when you have tons of different tools like most seraph on ladders run now.
