Even if you don't, Daria bricks off so often you can usually beat them fair and square. Plus Elana is capable of even more broken openers

Shadowcraft matchups will all be dictated now by pure RNG because of the expansion. I don't know why they thought Necroassassin and Lurking Corpse were okay. I replaced my erasmus and one of the Yunos for a satan as my last stand win-con if it ends up being a grind fest.

I don't want to play Shadow. I think Necroassassin and Lurking Corpse are both ridiculously overpowered cards. Shadow has always been the worst designed class. Pre Rise of Bahamut, Shadow was literally just Cerberus + Phantom Howl the deck. Now it's just Necroassassin + Lurking Corpse the deck.

It will never have more than one viable way to play it because it's such a gimmicky class.

Yeah and everyone thought Control Blood was strong during early DE. The meta will shift. People will stop experimenting and then ladder and tournaments will become the same three decks.

So long as Daria is what the majority of people are running, Aggro Blood will be strong. It's really common for something like Daria to be popular early in a meta though. We'll have to see if it stays that way.

Aggro Blood was also strong early on in DE too before falling off.

There was a time where Storm Haven was the most hated deck and Elana was used mostly to deal with it.

I use AF in my ptp rune as well as Fate's Hand. I use some of the one and two cost cantrip spells to boost FH, and it naturally boosts with Ancient Alchemist golems. I used to run 1x Merlin to fetch but I find it hard to justify using an evo for her with how fast things are now.

Here's deck if interested. 2x Taboos and 2x Juno's interchangable. Also trying to figure out if I can fit in 1 or 2 of the alchemists that heal so I can better stabilize against aggro.

Every time I launch up arena, I get 5 wins. I got 5 yesterday on Rune, and just recently hit 5 wins with Shadow.

I don't know what it is, maybe there are more retards populating the game mode, but I vastly prefer SV's arena to Hearthstone's.

I got meme'd hard by a Haven, he used Eidolon of Madness + Guardian Sun. Yes, it's a 0/5 taunt that you can't attack, ever. I ran the new storm haven, and the list had no hard removal.

How can this combo even be allowed? If you don't draw burn or removal, you're completely helpless. What a gimmick. Eidolon might be good.

I honestly find Pascale is not a particularly great card. It is the closest Earth related win condition Earth has, but you can almost never play her on curve. She usually finds value around turn seven or eight, but let's think about the opposition on those turns.

You lose or your board loses to all of that. I have a similar problem with the zombie guy. He's one of the coolest cards in the game hands down, but what purpose does he actually serve in most matches? Juno (I believe that is what the 7pp amulet is called) suffers a similar issue.

I'm still not feeling Earth. If win conditions weren't so important then it would be a stronger deck. That looked like it was going to be the case this meta, but once they introduced Bahamut that went out the window. Haven, Sword, Shadow, Dragon. All four of those crafts commonly run Bahamut now.

It makes me just want to run him in Earth, but then at that point there's no point even using Earth.

Dwarf Alchemist is pretty sweet though. I understand he evolves into a 3/3 for balancing purposes, but I sure wish they were consistent with how they balanced evolve cards.

Yeah, Bahamut is a tough card to work around since he kills ptp and clears our board, I've had a few slugfests with him in various crafts and gone about 50/50, careful use of petrify helps but if he has more bahamuts in hand than you have ptps it usually ends in game over. The strength in running AF is that you usually see the entirety of your deck aside from the last few buried cards, so you can recycle for answers when the opponent is running out of gas.

I'd run a 3rd ptp but I don't think I'd want to bump into it so often just to possibly slightly improve my odds against a Bahamut deck.
