All of its removal has literally 0 secondary effects like basically every other craft

You do damage and that's it, you don't get any free draws or create anything on the board.

So how the fuck are you ever supposed to trade favorably against people who aren't retarded enough to empty their hands when your turns are usually something like

Bats are more like an utility than a damage source, you use them as board control and pressure.

As for revelation, when you're on vengance it costs only 4, which means you can clear the board and then add presure to the opponent on late game, or just as a big turn 4 surprise if you're getting rushed

It's just a bad deck. People are really passionate about it because people have wanted it to be good for ages, but it is not. Even decks like Earth Rune are more reliable.

Control Blood has no good wards, almost no good healing cards, and very few followers that can actually fight the board meaningfully. It has terrible cycle capabilities too. Dire Bond is basically an instant lose in most matchups so it mostly sees use as a combo tool.

But the problem with combos as Blood is that you'd just be better off using a different class if that's what you want to accomplish.

What Blood needs is more cards that reduce their cost when vengeance is triggered. Imagine a card that has rush and drain and becomes cheaper if you're in vengeance. I firmly believe one of Control Blood's best cards is Diabolical Drain. It's a great removal spell, tacked on heal, and all for 1 pp in ideal circumstances. This means it can even be done alongside things like Dire Bond to force vengeance.

But Blood lacks more things like Diabolical Drain and Revelation. It needs ward cards that get a reduced cost in certain situations.

Hell it could just use more healing cards and wards. I hate how almost all of them are high cost. At that point you already won against aggro if you survived, but you're fucked against control because they come at such minimal value.

Like look at Queen Vampire. Is this card trash? No, but it also isn't good. It is basically a necessary evil because Blood is so desperate for wards. But look at the wards.

It's pathetic. In the DE meta they instant died to Angelic Barrage. In this meta they instant die to all board clears and then Rune gets free draws off them too. You'd rather the Queen be a 2/2 and the bats 3/3s or something.

Alucard is a cool card, but once again you'd rather him come earlier and with reduced capabilities. Vengeance cards are balanced with other cards in mind, as though being in Vengeance is ever a good thing.

Can't speak for him, but I have a Hybrid Daria deck as well. I tested it in unranked and it runs smoother than Daria by having slightly higher consistency.

Optimally, Daria can end games by 4th or 5th turn, but optimally speaking, that's very RNG-centric. Hybrid has more control - plays like DS Rune with more spells to clear board and greater game ending potential than vanilla DS with the help of Daria and the new spellboost followers.

Honestly, that's a thinker for me. First answer that comes to mind is ding dong or fire lizard, but I like them both because ding dong is great for mushu aggression and sometimes I use it with Urd. While fire lizard helps with trades and goes with sieg.

Well you have to play with the meta which is Daria and Aggro Bats, with some Shadow and Sword in there, Hungering Horde saves games. Mass summoning is a real issue and this card is not only a 2pp 3 damage to followers, but also punishes mass summoning in general.

I actually like Hungering Horde quite a bit. At its worse it is a 2pp three damage removal, which is good. It is often needed because even dealing two damage to yourself is fatal in this meta. I've lost so many games against Rune because of that slight tipping point Blade Mage created thanks to me taking two damage too much.

When you get to trigger its secondary effect though, it feels amazing. Clears all of Otohime's servants in one go, multiple Levi or whatever other follower Rune is dumping, etc.. I just wish more cards had consistent names. It sucks for example that Sword's multiple summon followers are all unique even when they have the exact same stats.

Both Hungering Horde and Sadistic Night are nice inclusions. I just wish we had gotten something better suited for dealing with Bahamut. Bahamut might be the single biggest problem for Control Blood right now.

It's a fairly good deck but suffers from being too fair. The game's meta is mostly dominated by dishonest win conditions and combos and all that Control Blood has is Mary combos which generally can happen way too late.

Vania is only amazing in aggro. Also going first is already a near instant lose for Control Blood, but cards like Vania become even worse in that situation.

Veight is bad because 3/2 is a terrible statline for a ward and he has no evolve effect. He almost always dies to a single follower or to a 1 or 2pp removal spell. Summoning a 1/1 isn't useful unless you're aggro.

Summon Bloodkin has been almost universally removed from control.

Queen Vampire would be better if it wasn't a bat themed card. It having bat synergy is why the card feels so neutered. They have to hold back on it. Compare it to something like Neptune or Frontguard General and it feels a lot worse. I seldom have it save me because it is very easy for most decks to deal with it. Against pure aggro, you survived to turn six anyway so yeah of course you're probably going to win now.

Many of these cards are ran to force a bat synergy that doesn't actually work well at all.
