Artifact knowledge is a base 5 day thing, it goes does to 3 with catch up.

The highest atm is level 21, that means you need to wait 65 fucking days to catch up(not including the levels they also gain in that time), or 30, because you can just buy up to 15/20 on jan 17th

At Blizzcon they announced plans to add a feature where you can exchange WoW tokens for balance in your battle.net account, which essentially means you will be able to buy shit on Overwatch and Hearthstone with WoW gold.
I assume the prices have been rising up because people are hoarding tokens in advance. And once that feature really comes out the prices will skyrocket. Some initial code for it was already datamined on a patch.
