>Tips for new players
You can change vocations at level 10 at the Gran Soren inn or BBI.
Character appearance can be changed later on.
You don't need pawns, but they help.

>sorcerers with meteors, mealstrom, affinities and none of the good spells EVERYWHERE
Holy shit I'm so fucking pissed, why can't I find a decent sorc pawn at level 71. I'm THIS close to just making my pawn a sorc again.
>exactly 10000 riftbucks
Can you set how much the pawn receives or something? Or was that just lucky?
I've never seen this happen
You can't really force it, Anon.
The closest it gets is playing them in hopes they 'click' eventually - many take getting to the later ranks to come into their own, such as Warrior with Arc of Deliverance [which almost makes the rest of the suck worth it] or Sorcerer with High Fulmination/Bolide.
Thing is, those amazing high rank skills or augments, while certainly giving a sense of power and breathing new life into vocations, don't actually alter how they play all that much for the most part. The Warrior will always be hitting shit until it dies, the Sorcerer will always stand back and unleash death in several flavours, the Assassin will always dart around like a spaz and stab shit for gorillions of damage, etc.
So what I'm saying is that if you were so bored of the other classes so soon you didn't even consider them seriously, it might be an issue with a restart.
just start a ng+, reach gran soren and goto bbi after
The maximum limit for riftbux is 1 million though.
How does NG+ work exactly?
Can I beat everything in post game and then jump into NG+ Or if I beat post game I can't go to NG+? Am I able to just collect the 20 shards and go to NG+?
My pawn just looks annoyed in every screenshot, and that's the way I like it.
>group of mobs
>everyone starts killing shit
>sorc fuck starts casting meteors
>we're killing shit and almost done
>last mob dies
yeah, fucking great spell m8
You're going to get 1-2 shot, A LOT until you get some level 2 armor. Then it'll be like 2-4 shot. Then you get goldforged level 3 armor, and can take any hit (besides magic) like a fucking man.
So in otherwords, level 3 gear is OP as shit, the rest will get your shit pushed in for HM.
I'm almost sure each color table advances individually.
That means if you're about to get a pair of daggers, and purify as a blue to get a staff, the daggers will still remain on the yellow list.
Not sure if that was your question or if I'm entirely right, feel free to correct me.
It was like a day
I did advertise a bit, and try to regularly add people from the group/spreadsheet
>having fun just exploring, collecting, fighting
>no rush to finish the game, just having fun
hormonal depression hits
>bored, irritated by the flaws
>don't want to keep playing
>treating the game as a job to finish
I've 90+ hours, 80 of pure fun...
She is definitely far from the worst I've seen.
Is Grigori in the cutscenes bigger than any of his appearances during regular gameplay/his bossfight?
why not do BBI after you completed the vanilla game? why do I see so many people going NG+ hard before even stepping foot in BBI on normal on their first playthrough?
I'm just curious because I'm almost done with the vanilla game and am debating the progression route I should be taking
I asked for help building my pawn, and also did a lot of reading on how to make a proper mage support pawn.
I get 1-2 rents an hour coming in. Had 12 rents pull in while I was asleep last night.
>Wake up start up some DD
>rest at an inn see if I finally got some hires
>rift shekels everywhere
Holy shit I want to keep riding this awesome wave of validation. Pls come rent.
>2 (two) (dos) (dva) (zwei) Lightning spells
Actually that is my Pawn, this >>129428392 is my Arisen.
Taking shots when you talk to them get's rid of that 1000 yard stare, but can also lead to some strange expressions.
for fuck's sake whenever I post her someone tells me to change her and when I do it's somehow the worst thing possible.
I only hire rangers and warriors actually. Usually a mixed male/female party, but I was returning rent favors to those in my level.
Yes I'll go through and if I like your pawn I'll rent yours back.
I haven't bought the high versions of gicel of seism yet and I'm thinking of dropping bolide because while it's great damage on bosses, it's infuriating having my pawn start trying to cast it on some fucking random goblins and never getting it finished because it takes so long we've killed them already. What do I drop it for though? High Fulmination? Maelstrom is annoying too with how much visual disruption it causes so that's out.
Do pawns really get banned or is this a meme? I used some stupid fucking nexus mod to make certain gear darker in color to satiate my autism. How do I know if my pawn was banned? Last hire was 3 stars no comment and double digits rift bux, and I haven't had a hire since.
>tfw I made my pawn a strider
holy fuck I think I made a huge mistake, this fucker doesn't do ANYTHING
I've been watching him and he just kinda walks back and forth, fires for a little while and goes back to dancing around
I think his inclinations are scather and mitigator, he worked fine as a warrior but as a strider he's not good for anything
I simply wanted to do BBI on the hardest difficulty possible, I suppose I just feared that I'd be too easy then I wouldn't want to go through it again on hard.
I also wanted to do some quests I missed so I rushed NG+ the moment I killed the dragon.
>Nuke of choice (I like High Seism)
This is a good sorc build, its been the meta since the console version.
Alright anons, I've got a scumsaved BBI level 3 wep here.
None of the 3 weapons it gives interests me on the least.
If you purify with yellow vocations, you'll get a Darkening Storm
If you purify with red vocations, you'll get a Bitter End
If you purify with blue vocations, you'll get a Dominion Claw
Shitty roll indeed.
If anyone happens to be interested, I'm looking for either Framae Blades, or Sanguine Stalk (Preferably Framaes)
Whats wrong with my chin anon?
That's not how it works. If you gift a cursed item to someone else, it won't have the same result as if you purified it in your own world. You simply cannot guarantee the item will purify into what it did in your world, in their world.
just ignore them
no one actually knows what the best sorc combo is
the only way you'll actually know what skills are worth it in the end is by playing around with them when your magick stat is good enough.
decide for yourself
Exclusive Everfall items merchant mod when?
This is retarded
>Main pawn has always been a strider or mage
>Barely noticed him contributing
>Made him a warrior this time around
>He's now upstaging me
What the actual fuck? I gave him a one-star upgraded two-hander and he's fucking demolishing everything we come across. I'm an assassin and it's actually more effective for me to support him than the other way around. I grapple something and he one-shots it, then we rinse and repeat.
I meant a mod to add the SHIT they DONT fucking SELL with 2% FUCKING droprates
It's because he learned to charge in like a retard by watching you, so obviously he's only gonna be good with fighter or warrior.
People always make their main pawn as different to them as possible to have a little bit of everything, which is why most pawns are shit. You NEED to have your pawn the exact same vocation as you and then behave as you would like them to behave for them to git gud.
It was breddy easy to find Fournival innocent. If the Duke doesn't care about the Gift Ledger than neither do I. All evidence was submitted except for Tomlin's.
Aldous seems salty about it though
I figure Fournival is of more use to Gransys than Tomlin's dad or Jasper's faggot family
Did I fuck up lads?! I was told to watch the duel but I saw Mercedes start getting rekt so I jumped in and she's all upset now
Why do they keep saying "aught" it's annoying the ever loving fuck out of me
>Pretty sure that it even bypasses certain immunities but don't quote me on that.
Dont tell me
>What gear are you after?
>fournival wants to evict jasper's family
>if you play the good guy and buy the land for them they die in the everfall
Fournival is the hero Gran Soren needs, but not the one it deserves
>shit the bed with the golden idol quest
>every pawn on the rift runs around with BBI or whatever weapons that are miles better than everything I have (my support pawn has 1500 magick attack while I have 800 even though our magick stat is pretty much the same)
>I haven't even finished the main quest
I also haven't collected
10 kept giant fishand I ain't starting BBI until I get rid of this fucking quest
>Have you found something?
>Is something there?
>I've found something.
Highlighted item mod has a dropdown menu with everything. Select item in inventory (dunno if it matters if it's the same equipment slot) and switch it to whatever you want. Item needs to be dumped into storage/given to a pawn and taken back before it properly updates fully to the new item.
Does anyone want to share a good fighter pawn build? I just want my pawn to have the best stats they can get.
NOW POST EM WITH YOUR PAWNS
What are you telling me that for nigga, I already have everything I need. Godsbaning is nothing new to me, I played back when the Everfall actually mattered. I'm just telling you why he might be bitching about it.
>Elder ogre goes into rage
>Dropkick instakills my entire team and myself
Shit, she said she would return!!
Might reload a checkpoint bros, what do I get for letting her fight em?
Mine stopped attacking it when it died.
Cool your autism bro. You oughtn't let that kind of shit get to you. Maybe this cute picture of an otter pup will help you calm down
Wtf. Why i am able to hire my friend's pawn 2 times?
If you let her fight she will lose, gift you her rapier, and leave the game.
If you help her she will leave the game without gifting you her rapier, but you can resurrect Julien with a wakestone after you killed him, find him in the castle jail and he will give you his shield.
This is the only way to romance Julien, like all the main male romances (him, reynard and valmiro) he has some custom dialogue after you rescue him from the dragon but he says nothing in the beach scene.
I just use Harspund Sauce t b h
How's my pawn?
That did make me feel a bit better, I ought to thank you, anon.
Welp, this guy should give me two tasks to complete in exchange to get Salomet's Grimoire. Yet I can't trigger the proper dialogue, only pic related one.
Before that he only said that although he has the stuff, he doesn't want to give up nor accept my coin, and if he was me he'd try to take it with steel instead.
>No, I won't sneak up to the chest where the grimoire is located, I'd rather get it as intended. Raising his affinity through gifts should be last resort as well.
>strong independent brown elf who dont need no arisen
Lots of Warrior levels, some Ranger levels (for stamina to spam Dragon Maw). Only give them Dragon Maw for offensive skills (you can add Heavenward Lash as they don't use that in the same situation). As for shield skills, DON'T FUCKING GIVE THEM DRUM, it's useless on pawns. Aggro never fucking shifts once you're in combat, only the Arisen can make any use out of that skill.
Augments are Awareness, Clout, Vehemence, Proficiency, Ferocity, Impact.
Play as a fighter yourself for 10 levels or so, teach them how to spam the ever living fuck out of Dragon Maw and teach them how to deal with shit in general. Inclinations are Scather main, Challenger, Mititgator, Pioneer, or Utilitarian secondary.
Banditbros just starting our adventure.
who the fuck told you that?
The quest where he gives you two objectives is separate from the one where you get the grimoire, the only way to get the grimoire is to get it from the chest.
Nah you want Sorc targeting big monsters first. Always for scather for sorc.
Challenger is range enemies and which are always trash mobs you can just run up to and 1-3 hit
I feel for people who don't have access to shadowplay
never miss a single thing worth recording
Is that so? Well then, disregard my previous post.
>3rd tier Dragon's Maw, Cymbal Onslaught still don't exist
Pawn has been rented a grand total of 3 times.
Any tips? lvl 47 ranger challenger/mitigator, Arisen is an Assassin, name: Shut Hell.
I've seen foreheads, and I've seen fiveheads, but I aint never seen no threehead before. Is her eye making a mad break for her hair to try and hide from whatever got the other one?
Can't wait for the mod
It's cute on 2D but as everything transition to 3D models botch it
So far I've used CE to add 9 million gold, 70000 experience for my pawn and cheated in a few items and not been banned yet, just don't mess with your pawns stats or vocation rank and it should be fine.
So...when does the game get good again? I've explored all of Gransys and come to a lot of locked doors and dead ends, and now Aldous is giving me quests that have me talking to people and I still haven't had the chance to buy any decent armor for my pawn. I've got Griffon armor for myself but that's it for plate.
Not a fan of Scather on Sorcerors since it can trigger their primal apelike instincts to climb on shit. Even if they cancel a climb, they'll still end up running right into the middle of a fight before doing so.
Almost all bosses have Ranged/Magic attacks and Challenger in general will keep ranged pawns leashed at a distance from enemies.
Whew, BBI completed and main story completed, what a fun game but after a week of marathoning I need to take a break.
THANK YOU /DDG/!
I will be using hiring all your pawns as always.
anyone looking for a young aspiring crusader page in need of more training? She has yet to earn her red mantle. she may be level 41 by now, I'm not sure.
500hrs on console and and 40 on PC and i've never once had a scather sorc jump on an enemy.
They just dual cast on the strongest targets if you have another scather/utilitarian
>so far, I've cheated
Why even bother playing the game if you're just going to cheat? Besides, getting millions of gold is easy as fuck when you reach end-game. There's literally nothing during the main story that's expensive enough AND GOOD ENOUGH STAT-WISE to justify giving yourself millions of gold.
You should probably just kill yourself.
What do you like more about the game? The combat, or over world? If you don't care about the city and NPCs, just rush the main quest. The 2 end game "dungeons" will be none stop combat with enemies you'll not see anywhere else, and a shitload of gear.
Are my stats decent for a lvl 70 Mystic Knight?
I didn't really meta game anything up until I reached BBI and started to struggle a little bit, though the only thing I haven't been able to kill now has been the random cursed dragons that pop up.
I primarily just MC shit to death.
(though i killed the bishop in like 15 seconds)
I like DD because it just turns into a comfy collect-a-thon at the end of the game where you're just trying to create the perfectly geared pawn and find the perfect fashionable combo for yourself.
I should find that sort of thing pure boredom but for some reason it's quite enjoyable, mainly because even if I stop playing, I want my Pawn to be as good as possible as it's entirely possible it can help someone out on their own playthrough.
I know where it's located and I'm far too weak yet to be able to kill him. I only would like to get the quest as intended, convince
Piketo return to the camp and get my reward. That's it.
>the only way to get the grimoire is to get it from the chest.
Various sources have proved it otherwise, just the most obvious: http://dragonsdogma.wikia.com/wiki/No_Honor_Among_Thieves (Yes, I completed "An Uninvited Guest" beforehand.)
Not to mention I just tried myself, and giving him 4 Skulls as gift were enough to raise his affinity to so high that he handed me over the Grimoire. So you claim is definitely false.
Sorry about the 3/3/3 rating the other day, she fell off a cliff.
Hahaha, anon, no, I'm completely done.
Are you daft?
le ebin reddit memes.
Alot of this game is more about the journey than the destination and the thing about cheaters is that their opinion on the game is immediately invalidated but they still feel entitled to talk about stuff like it's relevant to non-cheaters.
It's only a level above minmaxers in DLC gear complaining Grigori was easy.
I did beat BBI 2.0, grinded the best weapon/armor and there's nothing in 'new' in ng+.
I wish they scaled BBI weapons better, though, you're pretty much forced to cheese daimon 2.0 and death.
when I hire yellow pawns, I look for two things
you only have one of those
you have reset, which I consider the worst thing you could take
take out reset for kisses & would hire
Holy fucking shit
After a game of ropey cutscenes this was amazing
How do i get in here? Area just before dragon and bishop.
After you kill Daimon once BBI turns into a complete shitfest.
Just try it out.
Remeber that big bull that took you 20 mins to kill? Theres spawns of 7 of them now.
And that ghost armor guy? Yeah they spawn in groups too now.
Have fun man.
How the hell do I get the Escort Duty quest? I did the trial for Fournival and he was found innocent thanks to me and he still won't give me that quest. I want the gold idol for claxton, but I'm not sure what I am doing wrong. What makes it even worse is that I accidentally just swung my sword at Fournival while hastily gifting him random shit in hopes that he would love me enough to take his daughter around town, but it's not working, and I got sent to jail for it. Help!
I dunno, I'm pretty sure I did. Cheaters will always attempt to justify what they do with excuses, but the reality is that only children cheat, and the only do it because they believe they're justified in skipping things because they don't like them.
Such as leveling up, acquiring new gear, etc etc. I mean, it's not like leveling up or getting new gear/more money in this game is even remotely difficult, considering the fact that hard mode exists, EXP boosting items exist AND people can gift each other almost any item or piece of equipment in some way, shape or form.
There's literally no excuse for cheating in DD. I don't even give a shit that it's a single player game, there's literally no excuse. Everything within the game can be done reasonably, with little difficulty.
Anon, as far as I'm aware all it does is change the Seneschal, that's really nothing of value, just a small neat tidbit.
You don't know what this means. It's not intended to be done any particular way when it gives you options on how to do it. The quests are separate and one just happens to achieve a result that furthers the other.
I'm doing BBI for the first time this play through. Currently just on my normal first game.
I'm thinking of beating BBI, then going and completing the Everfall, and then starting NG+ on hardmode.
is this advised?
also, does hard mode NG+ have the teleporter to the Ur Dragon?
did you cuck him over in the eviction or something?
all I did was buy a wakestone shard, buy some ferry stones and do the eviction thing in his favor and I could instantly do escort duty
you want a rank 9 in a new vocation
you could go stand on a wall and let your pawns kill shit while you watch a tv show for an hour
Alternatively, you could use CE and keep playing the game
In your mind, the second is worse than the first because...?
Ok, I didn't know you could trade for it but that quest still has nothing to do with the grimoire. It's entirely separate from the grimoire quest and its reward is the badge of amity.
It's only available in the morning, when they're both inside the house, but not in the dining room. I'm not sure if you missed your window to do it, because I did it much earlier than that (before wyrm hunts).
Worked for me and my mage. Now Im swimming in rift bux
Something more like this then for 1-100? 30 fighter, 50 warrior, 20 ranger?
You're implying that the guard trick is the intended method of leveling up vocations post-game. It's not. It's just a neat little trick that people discovered when they realised that the guards in the royal quarters respawn endlessly post-game, and are incredibly weak.
Tie this together with knowledge of how EXP converts to DCP and you've got a good method of powerleveling vocations.
It is not however THE method. You can still go out and play normally, you know. Nobody's forcing you to use the guard trick. It's just a matter of convenience.
Cheating is also a matter of convenience, but you're breaking the game's bounds to do so, and that's bullshit.
Oh, well quite what I expected at least.
>Didn't play yesterday
>Go back today
>8 people hired her
Yesss, there is 8 but I needed to lower the list.
pls r8 don't h8
>finally decide to ditch worthless healer pawn
>now rolling with 2 fighters, a strider and a magic archer
>weighed down heavily by consumables
fuck i regret making my arisen a frail old man. Having to swap out inventory to my pawn every 10 minutes is shit, any way to get your pawn to loot on its own more without wasting an inclination slot?
I tried resting at the inn until morning and they are both inside of the manor on the first floor just standing there. When I talk to Fournival he says "I scraped past by the skin of my teeth there... that and a good bit of help from you." The girl pretty much tells me to fuck off when I talk to her.
I added some to my Arisen at the start and didn't get banned for it, DCP piles up really quickly once you've completed your vocation though so I don't think it's worth risking cheating it in for your pawn
>3 people beat it in the last couple of hours
I'm glad that /ddg/ is full of all sorts of people.
BBI is way harder than the Everfall (and better).
Do the Everfall first, and by that I mean "do as much as you care about" because outside of the Chamber of Fate and Chamber of Lament it's pretty tedious. Most people only go there to grind Wakestones/Materials/Items but outside of that it completely lacks any progression, it's just a playground for you to hit things in.
Once you're done with the Everfall and you've kitted yourself out with decent armor and weapons you can take on BBI comfortably.
Just don't give Quince any of your Wakestones or you will end the game.
New player, want to improve my pawn as I am pretty sure her bow and daggers are shit but I can't seem to find any better ones.
She has been rented three times since I started playing (two days ago) and the reviews were surprisingly good and the appearance review was 4 despite the pawn not being anything special.
Her name is Vaal, is a strider and is level 33 right now. Running with Hundred Kisses/Brain Splitter/Implicate for daggers and Fivefold Flurry/Downpour Volley/Fracture Dart. Do I need to fill out the spreadsheet in the OP for anybody to have a chance of looking at her?
shitty waifu bait picture
>I don't want to turn my cute pure pawn into a slut.
You don't have to.
Post a picture of your pawn, ID, informations (level, name, vocation...) to identify it and someone may/will pick it up for adventures.
Not the guy you're replying to, but he has a point. I fail to see how simply using an engine and giving yourself rank 9 in a vocation is different to just alt tabbing for an hour and getting it anyways.
They are the same thing, one is just smarter to do it faster?
>Everything in post-game gives shit ton of exp that it takes you a fuck ass long time to max out a vocation
>That means after rank 4 it takes several hours to rank up with some shitty and boring single or couple skills because you can't learn the good or fun ones
>Or you could be an autist and kill some low xp monsters which is extremely tedious and is also a cheese just like the church
Holy shit, the level of droning is reaching levels that shouldn't even be possible. No one is going to cut off your dick because your favorite game has flaw, relax.
What excuse or justification is even needed? If someone wants to cheat in a single player game, let them, who gives a shit?
You call them children, but you're still the person whining about how someone plays a single player game, I don't think you're in a position to criticize someone's mental maturity.
Shit, I get it now. This line made me mix things up at the original quests Wikia page ( http://dragonsdogma.wikia.com/wiki/A_Troublesome_Tome ) :
>Alternatively, to obtain the book as a gift, Maul can be persuaded to give away the Grimoire if he is sufficiently impressed with the Arisen.
>To do so, gift Skulls or other items to raise Maul's affinity; completing the quest No Honor Among Thieves will also raise Maul's affinity.
Nevermind then, my bad. It seems I'll have to do another trip. At least I'll have time to figure out why that Cyclops and those bandits are not hostile towards each other.
Can someone please elucidate me on "hybrid" weapons: a weapon like Ascalon (with a magic stat/element) strikes both defences separately? Won't that generally decrease it's damage?
I'm braving Bitterblack Island and I don't know if I should use Ascalon (510 strength, 332 magic) or the Dragon's Dogma (flat 672 strength).
This is for your own good reynard.
E S C O R T
Q U E S T S
Am I supposed to kill the gorecyclops when I reach bbi or just get the void key and gtfo? I'm literally shooting arrows at him from afar and downed 50% of 1 hp bar in 10 minutes. I can hit him a little more quickly using daggers auto attack but I get stepped on and die.
People are fucking retarded
Get ready for some faggot to tell you you're objectively wrong because his yellow x button pusher like, totally does it faster man
Appropriate usage of falseflagging. Here, you deserve your (you) coupled with a Wojak image.
well yes, it's a matter of convenience, that's why I (and I assume a lot of other people) do it
When I was playing a lot of PvP in Dark Souls, do you think I played through the entire game every single time I wanted to try out a build?
Ofcourse not, that'd take forever and wouldn't be fun, after I did multiple legit playthroughs and wanted to PvP, I just used CE to make legit builds and played with them
I don't see why you start getting butthurt when someone wants to do the most convenient way to do something he doesn't think doing would be fun
Imagine if you got a "job", where the purpose was to stay in an empty room doing nothing for an hour each day and you'd get paid 80$ worth of your local currency each day for doing said "job", which serves no purpose whatsoever.
Or you could just press a button on your computer, and you'd get paid the exact same way and amount.
You'd choose the first because the second is breaking the society's bounds?
he's not seeking instant gratification
I doubt he thinks having that amount of money or exp will suddenly make him happy
He just wants to get it so he can continue playing the game in a way he finds fun
I've yet to see any enemies actually be hostile to each other. I've heard if a Cursed Dragon spawns in Midnight Helix, it will fight with the Condemned Gorecyclops but I haven't tested it with bait.
>I have literally no counter-argument so I'll just give him a (you)
>Imagine if you got a "job", where the purpose was to stay in an empty room doing nothing for an hour each day and you'd get paid 80$ worth of your local currency each day for doing said "job",
That's interesting, but why don't you make a real counterpoint instead of inventing a scenario that's clearly angled more towards your side?
>That's interesting, but why don't you make a real counterpoint instead of inventing a scenario that's clearly angled more towards your side?
You either stand on a wall for an hour
or you press a button
You either sit in a room for an hour
or you press a button
How is the second of these angled towards my side but the first isn't?
Because it makes you realize you have no point to stand on?
Yes, but she probably won't because you'll inevitably max out the affinity of another character that also disappears and causes you to get that character instead.
In order for her to be your beloved, you're going to have to micromanage every NPC affinity that gets to a high point and make sure you lower it a lot before they become unavailable to you if it's one of those disappearing NPCs.
>mystic knight is relatively boring up to level 8
>suddenly Furor and Abyssal Anguish
oh holy shit
>hired a friends pawn
>gave him some stronger weapons and made him a slut
do you think that he's gonna be mad?
It's different preferences.
For the sake of pure efficiency and DPS you would just stack a party of Ranger pawns.
In terms of quality of life, people still want Mage pawns because they can't be fucked to carry a million curatives around and they may as well use the weapon buffs. Mage Pawns also have Legion's Might which is very much in line with the "quality of life" idea since BBI has lots of dragons and there's a noticeable difference between a Mage pawn who's immediately healing you and a Ranger pawn that is lying on the ground dead again.
idk it's a strider w
hundred kisses/skullsplitter/shearing wind
fivefold arrow/pentad shot/downpour volley
inclination is Mitigator/Challenger
btw its only level 29
>I-It's okay to cheat just for conveniences sake hahahahaha r-right it's not like developers developed things in a certain way no no
Pathetic, literally going for the 'cinematic' 'playthrough'.
I've yet to breach sub 700.
Say hello to the #87 ranked pawn.
I had two sorceresses with me, once they actually cast an ice spell on the thing it fell over on it's face and I went to town on it, the longest part was cutting off his helmet.
>How is the second of these angled towards my side but the first isn't?
Because it's a clearly fabricated scenario that's biased towards your side of the argument, not an actual real situation. That's not how it works. I mean sure, if you wanna go ahead and just ruin the game for yourself by cheating, go ahead. Just keep in mind that almost anything you cheat in can be done or acquired very easily via legit methods. Dragon's Dogma is not a difficult game in any way, shape or form.
Gran Soren guard trick is a convenient method that's within the game's bounds. Simply editing values via CE is not within the game's bounds. It's literally black and white.
>unlock the Gardeners Cell with a Skeleton Key
>he won't leave via the main entrance, have to use a 2nd key to open the passage way
>go and buy another Skeleton Key
>return to the cells
>his door is locked again
>have to use a 2nd Skeleton Key to unlock him again
>now don't have a 3rd Skeleton Key for the passage way exit
>now I need 2 more Skeleton Keys to do this shitty fucking quest
>Going through BBI 2.0 with 2 Warriors a Mage and a Ranger
>Progress is ok but annoying as shit for anything that requires magic damage exclusively
>Bane of my life are fucking Living Armors.
>Encounter 1 Living Armor
>Takes forever to kill the thing
>Go to next area
>2 Living Armors and an Elder Ogre that summoned itself in
>Cheese the shit out of it with RC fires
>Double Trouble Drake time.
>Cursed Dragon arrives on the scene
>Enter Fallen City
>Cursed Dragon flying around
>Living Armor right at the fucking entrance
>Pls god no
>Fight the Living Armor
>A second one joins the fight.
>Just haul ass and dive in the Rifstone behind 3 Eliminators.
This is hell. What are the respawns in BBI like? If I go back to get more consumables am I going to have to fight through all the shit leading up to Fallen City again?
Well I don't wanna her as beloved, I wanna
Aelinoreas my beloved, so after doing her quest in which she dissappears too, I shouldn't talk to any other NPC with max affinity so that I get her right?
The lowest I've been was 600~. Getting good RC though since my pawn is decked out for BBI.
>Just keep in mind that almost anything you cheat in can be done or acquired very easily via legit methods.
yes and you could go get an actual job to get the money through "legit methods"
just like in the game
Well, as much as I love some design choices in this game (shared storage upon enchanting and combining, the ability to forge items etc.) this is pretty stupid. I had to fight bandits AND wolves on my way to the Castle, but no way I'm going to repeat it with a Cyclops. At least not where I'm at now level-wise.
So should every healer pawn just be using Legion's Might?
Do they not benefit from the higher Magick? I mean, they still have 2-3 DPS spells on top of their utility ones.
LM seems to be quite low on Magick.
The game keeps telling me I should try different combinations, but I've yet to see my usual combination of 2 mages, a tank and squirrely dude with a bow run up against an enemy they can't take.
Your beloved is the person with max affinity you last spoke to. So for all the main beloveds (aelinore, Quina, Selene, Mercedes, Madeleine, Julien, Valmiro and Reynard) you need to finish their questline last since they all end with them disappearing.
Giving the arisen's bond to a character maxes out its affinity immediately but it doesen't guarantee that it will be your beloved, though if it happens to be you'll get a short extra cutscene at the end of deny salvation.
All of those characters will get some special dialogue after they come to live with you but only the girls will get special dialogue during the ending.
You can make every other character in the game your beloved but they will only have some standard dialogue which is the same for everybody
>Dropped from all 5 stars to all 4 stars after one rest of the inn because of multiple rock banned people
Why do I have to be punished for their faggotry?
>do you think I played through the entire game every single time I wanted to try out a build
That's how it should be, faggot
This is why I'm buying Dark Souls 3 for PS4 and maybe never for PC
Fuck you faggots you ruin the online community
Would a straight up support Strider pawn with Rusted Bow/Dagger be rented? I was thinking of doing that after seeing how useful my pawn was with nothing but a DF Rusted Dagger (no bow) was for the double condemned gorecyclops Rotunda room was. Kept both of them Torpor'd about 90% of the time using jump Brainsplitter. I know some of the harder stuff like Daimon 2.0 and Death can't be torpor'd but I figure pawns are rather useless for those encounters anyway. I hope to train it to ONLY use the bow for flying monsters and focus on Brainsplitter for inflicting Torpor.
I figure with gold dragon forged weapons, they could do a bit of damage still.
This formula in the gdoc hasn't changed right?
5A+1B+6(1B+1A)I can do this from any starting point without having to use a neutrilising elixir?
What does it mean when it talks about "manipulating this to make it a tertiary" on the one below it though, and what benefit exactly does getting a tertiary inclination bring?
Sorry man, must be difficult believing everyone who doesn't agree with your point of view is a troll.
Because I'm gonna use a slippery slope fallacy here and make the statement that it NEVER stops with just one thing when people use CE. It's always "Oh, I'll just give myself some gold so I can get this item", which then turns into "Oh, I'll just give myself this item to avoid tediously grinding for it", which eventually turns into just godmoding and completely erasing the challenge of the game.
Why even play a videogame if you're going to remove the challenge of it by simply freely giving yourself advantages via means outside the game? Why even bother?
People like you fucking ruined the Dark souls online feature, it was so great on consoles.
>Huyck huyck better CE myself 99 crackeds
>Haha some better gear sure why not
>Might as well give some stats as well but keep the level haha
>Man would be real funny if I made my weapon curse and de-stat people without lowering their level
The only answer at that point is to CE yourself. Darkwraiths used to be rare at lower levels as you'd have to kill the four kings to even start, but then you'd feel great for earning the opportunity to fuck with people. I'm sad that Dark souls 3 is going to suffer the same shit.
>1198+818 Anno Domini Year of Our Lord and Savior
>not slaying allegorical infidels
I don't really see the difference to your personal experience between exploiting a glitch and using a 3rd party exploit. You already acknowledged the fallacy so I don't have to state it.
it is, though. 5*'d a friend while i was rock banned, and he got my reviews as 5*, too.
you can get rock banned for reverting to an older save or trading too much.
you send 0 RC and rocks instead of whatever. lifts itself after around a day.
Anon, the only one baiting is you right now.
>Ur-Dragon Gen 18
>Still on like 6 bars
He's been alive for over 24 hours.
I can't kill death. No matter what I do I can't kill him. I'm a sorc with a warrior, strider, and mage pawn. I'm level 92 and I just do no damage neither do any of the pawns. The only element that drops his bar down is fire and that is about 1/100th of a bar each hit. Physical damage form the pawns do null all too.
What the fuck do you have to do to kill him?
Is the quest named "An Innocent Man" bugged? I broke the Father from the prison, he met his son on the other side but after the conversation they have just walked away without completing the quest. It's still in my log and the Son still has the red circle indicating he is a quest marker on him.
When people get to a really high level range of like 150+ what sort of gear is considered acceptable on pawns? Does it have to be fully enhanced BBI stuff or can I get away with something lower end than that?
I hope your pawn is ready to kill garms
