You can't really force it, Anon.
The closest it gets is playing them in hopes they 'click' eventually - many take getting to the later ranks to come into their own, such as Warrior with Arc of Deliverance [which almost makes the rest of the suck worth it] or Sorcerer with High Fulmination/Bolide.

Thing is, those amazing high rank skills or augments, while certainly giving a sense of power and breathing new life into vocations, don't actually alter how they play all that much for the most part. The Warrior will always be hitting shit until it dies, the Sorcerer will always stand back and unleash death in several flavours, the Assassin will always dart around like a spaz and stab shit for gorillions of damage, etc.

So what I'm saying is that if you were so bored of the other classes so soon you didn't even consider them seriously, it might be an issue with a restart.

You're going to get 1-2 shot, A LOT until you get some level 2 armor. Then it'll be like 2-4 shot. Then you get goldforged level 3 armor, and can take any hit (besides magic) like a fucking man.

So in otherwords, level 3 gear is OP as shit, the rest will get your shit pushed in for HM.

I haven't bought the high versions of gicel of seism yet and I'm thinking of dropping bolide because while it's great damage on bosses, it's infuriating having my pawn start trying to cast it on some fucking random goblins and never getting it finished because it takes so long we've killed them already. What do I drop it for though? High Fulmination? Maelstrom is annoying too with how much visual disruption it causes so that's out.

Do pawns really get banned or is this a meme? I used some stupid fucking nexus mod to make certain gear darker in color to satiate my autism. How do I know if my pawn was banned? Last hire was 3 stars no comment and double digits rift bux, and I haven't had a hire since.

I played assassin and fighter for 75 levels before going sorceror, and it's been fine.

It was breddy easy to find Fournival innocent. If the Duke doesn't care about the Gift Ledger than neither do I. All evidence was submitted except for Tomlin's.

Highlighted item mod has a dropdown menu with everything. Select item in inventory (dunno if it matters if it's the same equipment slot) and switch it to whatever you want. Item needs to be dumped into storage/given to a pawn and taken back before it properly updates fully to the new item.

If you let her fight she will lose, gift you her rapier, and leave the game.
If you help her she will leave the game without gifting you her rapier, but you can resurrect Julien with a wakestone after you killed him, find him in the castle jail and he will give you his shield.
This is the only way to romance Julien, like all the main male romances (him, reynard and valmiro) he has some custom dialogue after you rescue him from the dragon but he says nothing in the beach scene.

Lots of Warrior levels, some Ranger levels (for stamina to spam Dragon Maw). Only give them Dragon Maw for offensive skills (you can add Heavenward Lash as they don't use that in the same situation). As for shield skills, DON'T FUCKING GIVE THEM DRUM, it's useless on pawns. Aggro never fucking shifts once you're in combat, only the Arisen can make any use out of that skill.

Augments are Awareness, Clout, Vehemence, Proficiency, Ferocity, Impact.

Play as a fighter yourself for 10 levels or so, teach them how to spam the ever living fuck out of Dragon Maw and teach them how to deal with shit in general. Inclinations are Scather main, Challenger, Mititgator, Pioneer, or Utilitarian secondary.

Not a fan of Scather on Sorcerors since it can trigger their primal apelike instincts to climb on shit. Even if they cancel a climb, they'll still end up running right into the middle of a fight before doing so.

Almost all bosses have Ranged/Magic attacks and Challenger in general will keep ranged pawns leashed at a distance from enemies.

I like DD because it just turns into a comfy collect-a-thon at the end of the game where you're just trying to create the perfectly geared pawn and find the perfect fashionable combo for yourself.

How the hell do I get the Escort Duty quest? I did the trial for Fournival and he was found innocent thanks to me and he still won't give me that quest. I dunno, I'm pretty sure I did. Cheaters will always attempt to justify what they do with excuses, but the reality is that only children cheat, and the only do it because they believe they're justified in skipping things because they don't like them.
Such as leveling up, acquiring new gear, etc etc. I mean, it's not like leveling up or getting new gear/more money in this game is even remotely difficult, considering the fact that hard mode exists, EXP boosting items exist AND people can gift each other almost any item or piece of equipment in some way, shape or form.
There's literally no excuse for cheating in DD. I don't even give a shit that it's a single player game, there's literally no excuse. Everything within the game can be done reasonably, with little difficulty.

You're implying that the guard trick is the intended method of leveling up vocations post-game. It's not. It's just a neat little trick that people discovered when they realised that the guards in the royal quarters respawn endlessly post-game, and are incredibly weak.
Tie this together with knowledge of how EXP converts to DCP and you've got a good method of powerleveling vocations.
It is not however THE method. You can still go out and play normally, you know. Nobody's forcing you to use the guard trick. It's just a matter of convenience.
Cheating is also a matter of convenience, but you're breaking the game's bounds to do so, and that's bullshit.

BBI is way harder than the Everfall (and better).

Do the Everfall first, and by that I mean "do as much as you care about" because outside of the Chamber of Fate and Chamber of Lament it's pretty tedious. Most people only go there to grind Wakestones/Materials/Items but outside of that it completely lacks any progression, it's just a playground for you to hit things in.

Once you're done with the Everfall and you've kitted yourself out with decent armor and weapons you can take on BBI comfortably.

Just don't give Quince any of your Wakestones or you will end the game.

Can someone please elucidate me on "hybrid" weapons: a weapon like Ascalon (with a magic stat/element) strikes both defences separately? Won't that generally decrease it's damage?

Am I supposed to kill the gorecyclops when I reach bbi or just get the void key and gtfo? I'm literally shooting arrows at him from afar and downed 50% of 1 hp bar in 10 minutes. I can hit him a little more quickly using daggers auto attack but I get stepped on and die.
