Magick bows are kind of lackluster on the mainland, they don't scale as well as other weapon types.

Also, if you're going to play MA, you'll want the augment from sorc rank 9 that is +20% magick. No need to play one ofr a while, you can farm the vocation in post game.

Well, lost and found allows you to get Selene's next quest, which removes the golem from beneath her house, allowing you access to the rest of the witchwood. In there is a portcrystal, metal golems, and later on a quest that you can trigger to give you the arisens bond, basically max's your affinity with anyone that you give it to.

Even in BBI, some enemies are easier taken out with shanking. Direwyverns especially, their heart is located on their back between their wings. Use the bow to bring them down, then hop on and apply daggers to heart until a smooth paste forms.

Also, some enemies are immune to magick, like evil eyes and goblin shamans. You'll need to stab them.

You cant decrease the rank of a spell.
Regular Anodyne is 65hp / second for 4.7 seconds cast time.
High anodyne is 135hp / seconds for 6 seconds cast time with the augment, even less with the ring.
When you've played a few hours and you and your pawns have more than 1000hp, the healing rate is just so much better.
I'm not even talking about the most difficult content.

It's one of my favorite vocations for pawn training just because it's interesting to see what spells pawns use, but until your magic is high you can't get use shit like Levin, Miasma and Maelstrom properly.

Seism is shit, I think. Not enough damage for how long the cast time is and how sporadic the spires are. The only thing I can think of it being good for is Wraiths. And even then Bolide still smashes their shit in. Actually just about every instance you can use Seism, you can use Bolide.

If you HAVE to use Anodyne in battle, then you need to use regular Anodyne so your retard pawn doesn't get interrupted while casting. If you want strong Anodyne you get the ring that increases it to Grand Anodyne. Most people don't even use a fucking healer past level 40. Get gud.

That's not draw distance, anon, that's the pawn/NPC spawning in.

They can change renderer settings to increase draw distance and enable higher framerates and resolutions and such, but they can't change base engine things like spawn distance that were originally coded for consoles.

The times I have seen on my 360 and PS3 on Max level using a mage pawn for the entire duration where that low of a cast time would make a difference between them getting a heal off and not is almost non existent.

The HP total you get from High Anodyne means you don't have to spend as much time in a tiny cramped circle. Else you're making your mage cast AGAIN and risking them getting a second time.

I've tried both and High Anodyne is just overall better.... AFTER you get the augments and the ring. Before then? Fuck yeah keep Anodyne.

I can solo as Ranger, Magick Archer, Strider, Assasin just fine. But when i try with mystick knight it's terrible, requires too much setup for buffs and when you're fighting 2 Eliminators and 3 Garms at once, there is simply no room to rebuff and cast shit, especially garms with their knockdown and grab bullshit.

Honestly, I'm taking my time playing all quests. It's been a while since I've finished it on console, so I thought it would be a good idea to enjoy the game with updated visuals and a nice framerate.
That being said, hard mode is the best way to power level, with eventual periapts to boost your xp/gold when facing stronger enemies.
