That's for custom games. 50 for loss, 100 for win in automatch, thus keeping them filled.
In customs, it's 10 for loss and 20 for win.

The fact that Paz was able to hijack ZEKE, the fact that Paz was able to escape afterward, the fact that Cypher was able to pick her up and use her as bait, the fact that Mother Base fell, ALL of this was Kaz's fault.

The Man on Fire was actually Volgin... who never died in MGS3, but was reanimated? And if it really is Volgin... his physique can withstand the integrated bullets... and is fire resistant? What's with the glowy eyes? Was this a hallucination by Venom?
When Quiet called Pequad to Venom's position, she hesitated, but finally spoke English. Doesn't this mean the parasite was transmitted to Venom?
Did Kaz not recognize Venom with shrapnel in his head while the three of them were with the medics and then again once he was rescued by Venom?
When exactly did Kaz go blind? Was he blind since before the game started (lost vision in the attack on Mother Base GZ)? He operates throughout the game as if he isn't blind at all.
Is there a reason why in the hospital scene at the prologue the doctor shows you Big Boss' face first and then has you input what you'd like to become instead, yet, at the ending "Truth", it flips this order? I know it was done as a plot device, but it literally just presented an erroneous order at first and then flipped it at the epilogue, while playing as the same character/person in both situations (Venom).
Did Venom know he was acting as a decoy for Big Boss or was he thoroughly convinced from the moment he came to all through to the end when he plays the "Man Who Sold the World" cassette?
Does Venom go on to become the "evil" Big Boss by doing things his own way, or is it part of an orchestrated plan.

I thought not having random boxes around would ruin the use of the box, boy, I was wrong. There are places where you can just sit in your box and people will run right by you, then you can pop out and shoot then or what will you.
Conversely you could just leave a box in the open as a distraction but I've yet to find a good use for this yet.
Empty magazines are pretty underrated too. Last man standing as sneaking team and I was tossing them at a building in Gray Rampart, while I was way on the other side of the ..river? Ravine? that splits the map.
Anyway, I had at least a couple enemy players running around where I was throwing them, shooting at grass and shit trying to find me, while I left them and headed for a disc. Stealth is alive in this game, if you know where to look. Also, I'm really starting to like the empty magazine.
There is a camo percentage but there is no index, the math behind it is pretty simple and most of it is common sense, anyways. ou really don't need an abstract number telling you what you already know, laying on your stomach conceals you better than sprinting.
Not really, in single player laying flat in the middle of a helipad or concrete slab might have a high camo percentage, but any real player would immediately spot you. If you're trying to be concealed just try not to move so much in the open. stick low to the ground or in cluttered environments. Don't be afraid to use the cardboard box in industrial areas where boxes or crates might be common. But camo index is essentially meaningless when dealing with real people, as people aren't computer programs, obviously.

Sneaking Mission, or SNE, is a game mode where there are two teams competing with each other to get Snake, who is a player on his own but with Snake's single player abilities.
It's basically a 3 sided battle with one of the sides being Snake.
That's why you need a camo index that renders you invisible or something else to give Snake a sneaking advantage.
Derp, misread. But you should try again and wait until the next round loads and starts to count down to see if it saves. The whole round saving thing is buggy as fuck.
We ended the round by having him kill me. I set his and my score to 1,000,000 each and he said he got a bunch of pop ups for levels up to 37 and it said post-game he unlocked a ton of shit.
After the match was done and we were in the post-game lobby he left to check on shit and none of the progress saved.
If you want to try further you can, all I did was host the server and change the scores using cheat engine, 4byte scan. Interestingly enough my scores themselves didn't save at round end, but his did. I tried doing it when I wasn't the host and they changed but immediately reverted, while when I was host they remained until round end and in his case after the round ended.
If you want to experiment with it more you can, we're trying really simple shit because I'm not very good at hacking; can't even make trainers.

It wasn't a giant clusterfuck of people spawning everywhere and anywhere.
Base, CAP, RACE, DM were generally clusterfucks but any mode that's about pushing objectives is going to be that way and DM was pretty much meant to be.

Erm, I don't think this is true, or at the very least not any more frequently than they do in MGO3. It was harder to kill people in MGO2 and as a result of which people tended to jog around and box swap in open areas more frequently in groups and just use numbers and headshot skill + boxswapping skill to win TDM. At least on PC it's difficult to say "people sneak more" and such because it's way too early to determine what player playstyles are going to be like, but everything about the design seems to emphasize that sneaking would be promoted more in MGO3 especially with Fultoning being such an important element that can decide matches in the blink of an eye.

I would agree with this on Black Site specifically which is a very bad map with very bad spawns, but on other maps I don't think that's the case. There were maps in MGO2 which tended to be an instant clusterfuck as well in TDM like Urban whatever it's called, where people walked like 5 steps before they could get into some kind of engagement. The rest of what you said is just kind of statements without any substance in my opinion.
I'm not making excuses for MGO3 or anything. I really do enjoy MGO3 a lot and I actually do really like a lot of the changes and additions that have been made, but there's definitely also a lot of things that're worse or just straight up missing for no reason. I was a fairly prominent player with a few berets in MGO2.
I don't think stealth deathmatch would work as well with how the stealth camo works in this game, but yeah, SDM was the shit. Really liked it on the Shadow Moses map, the one with the snowstorms and shit.

Lotsa good memories with that game. I was never great because I joined MGO2 nearing the end of it's life, the last year or so, but I had my moments.
I thought the same thing when I played. However my download region got fucked by the steam christmas cache glitch and after I set it to NA I am finding plenty of matches just fine.

The way I remember Tournaments being is that there were 4 going on at once but you could only join one of those 4 and then after they concluded there was another 4 afterwards.

I'm not sure Survival was for 3 hours, it might've been 4 but I do know that it was 3 days a week.
After Tournaments were introduce and took place on the weekend, Survival took place on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

like 75% of the animals are in capture cages and don't show up anywhere ever. They had snake models for a cutscene, though.
I feel like they wanted to include a ton more animals in the game but couldn't get around to it, and rewrote the capture cage to just snag animals in certain places as opposed to baiting and trapping real ones.

MGSV has a theoretical 'invisible' camo index in singleplayer that applies to your camo, lighting, movement and the environment. The problem is the game doesn't tell you this whatsoever so you have to find out the hard way.
Multiplayer has nothing like this. You're either visible or just barely visible via stealth camo. So even with a Snake unique on a custom match, he has to stealth just like every other player character in plain visibility.

I guess you can theoretically, but with how most people are sprinting around just hiding around a corner often allows for the same effect. At best you may confuse a sniper if you play your cards right in their direct sight, but the real good snipers wouldn't mess up.

There's the injury system, though. Too injured without dying immediately? You either have to break out the spray, or Snake has to tend to his wounds somehow. It's especially notable if you fall far enough to be severely injured without dying
and if you were to fire a rocket launcher while injured like that, apparently it can kill you outright

I've done a pretty good job sneaking around on the jungle map in tiger stripe camo on my scout more than once.
Even had Snake himself personally using sonar to hunt for me eventually. It was pretty awesome. Maybe run and gunning is ultimately better in this game, but I love experimenting with stealth and seeing how much I can get away with
The camo index isn't theoretical, it's an actual thing.
It's just not a number in the corner of your screen you pay more attention to than the setting and your actions anymore.

I think they actually did want gear to modify defensive stats but decided against it, and then forgot to remove the text that says you're loud and bulky.
coloration has some limited effectiveness as camouflage when playing against people. Otherwise it's all purely cosmetic.

Anon, I'm trying to find nukes. Just today I invaded 2 platforms that had nukes (menu said so), killed everyone and started searching for nukes. I didn't find any, I don't even know where to look, but I checked every corner. Also some FOBs are just impossible, 4 platforms, 10 minutes, everything to the max, stealth takes too much time.
