Yea, I was thinking of cutting something for SW:P. For me I think it would end up being Pyro. I also had EE but I removed because I didnt like that it gave them the card.
>demonlock is viable again
>topdecking reno on 1 hp against a huntard after he missed 1 face damage on an earlier play
>use your hero power, which is make a weapon
>get a weapon
>never get to play weapons you get because your hero power replaces the weapon
why not just make it a battlecry? best case scenario you get two weapons off of it before it dies and even if you get three+ activates, how often do games play out that long that you'll make use of all of them?
Think of it this way, you use 2 mana at a chance at a broken weapon on rogue.
Maybe battlecry would be better but that's a one time comparing to potentially multiple times.
I could see someone running conceal with this or something
omg, Imagine it it was "inspire: discover a weapon" though. You could get all kinds of perditions blade removal and assassins blade to build up with oil, situationally maybe even get a wrench if you have shredder out.
Good points. It will be Valeera's time soon brothers.
>tfw beating the shit out of an emoting secret pally with fucking fatigue hunter
People play Renolock because it makes them feel skilled. They mindlessly tap to get to low HP and their operating at this HP level makes them feel like they're playing Handlock, and they know that only good players can pull off Handlock. Except that Handlock doesn't have a fucking 29 HP heal to fall back on so they can't just tap or take face damage willy-nilly.
Why do people think that decks with Reno have to be highlander decks?
I play reno on my Freeze mage and it's pretty good, i can't play him on turn 6, but as a freeze mage I can wait until later in game until I get popped or something and go right back to 30.
And I can drop the healbots because of it too, so I get an extra card slot for more freeze or draw.
>tfw you will never have a comfy house with a nice view while playing hearthstone
they don't have to be but then not only are you waiting to draw reno but any duplicates as well before you can use the heal. which is fine in slow matchups bu more than half of the matchups aren't.
I use to think this way about everything. Like just today I finally bought a WiiU and realized Smash Bros actually takes skill. Once you play Hearthstone you'll realize it takes skill too, only looks simple but look deeper.
I played Hearthstone up to Goblin expansion and now I would like to come back. Can you advise what is the best way to progress, when it comes to buying expansions/card packs? Can I skip Blackrock and focus on the League of Explorers/Grand Tournament?
>mfw I do that hellfire mistake all the damn time
What's this optimal curve out for this hand in Arena? I forget what the opponent class was.
I would just dagger because it gives you the options of using ssc or coin into scrubs with auto-barber which allows you to deal with pretty much any 3 drop. Assuming your opponent has an empty board, if not it depends on the minion he has.
He used to play poker and now plays online poker for money, hs for meme.
>would you have played the best 1-drop in the game on turn 1?
Nah, I always save my chow for later in the game when he has more impact because his stats are amazing and the deathrattle has no drawback.
are there any good f2p paladin decks this season? the one i have from some website gets wrecked every time i play, can't even get out of rank 20
Is there anything I should add to this deck to improve it? I was thinking of adding sylvanas.
I've been stuck at this same screen for about five minutes or so. Did the guy I'm fighting disconnect or something?
>golden Divine Favor in a pack
One more reason to wait for its nerf
for real ? are they actually nerfing that shit?
Cards only get nerfed when they aren't fun and interactive and you're not going to tell me that always having to throw away your whole hand or being forced to play decks without big hands isn't fun and interactive, are you? :^)
>warrior trying to stabilize against my face hunter
>he plays justicar + hero power
>"pew" to the face
>my secret cancels out his play and keeps him in lethal range
nobody ever expects bad cards to be played
I thinking of crafting Hemet, Beast, Hogger and Icehowl
Is any of these cards worth keeping?
>play emtomb priest vs renolock
>opponent at 7 hp
He has imp gang and molten out
I have injured blademaster, aucheni, zombie chow and pyro
>he hellfires putting himself to 4, killing chow and takes 5 from auchani staying on board
thanks for the win friendo
are you thinking about dusting them or crafting them?
>uldaman it to heal it for 2 and set it back to 3/3
>enrage it again next turn
they can get perfect draws
but generally speaking the deck is more inconsistent, has worse control mechanics, is more reliant on a good draw and is just generally worse than freeze mage which has existed since forever
>are there any viable dragon decks?
>I tried the viable dragon deck and it was boring
dragon warrior and paladin are almost viable but the priest deck is the only one that's competitive
Well, yeah, its the skill of finding the most optimal play for hours in a row, making no mistakes, always seeing lethal, never allowing your opponent easy lethal paths. Finding the tweaks to your decklist to beat your current meta. There is a good reason why the same 1000 people hit legend first every season, then the rest hit it last week of the season. Also, why only a small minority of players ever hit legend. Sure its a lot of time, I suck at this game and always hit a wall at rank 6. No amount of time ever solves the problem. I am too retarded to make my own meta calls and often make a silly mistake once per 5 games which sometimes causes a loss. This game bores me after an hour so to grind it I need to watch movies and that exacerbates the problem and I break streaks.
Sadly, all this means we can probably program a computer to play HS better than we can. They don't get mentally tired or lose focus.
>go face because there is no way he can kill me and there is no way I can't kill him
>memeron head + shittybot * 2 => Ultra-Meme-Warrior-7000
>I'm fine with it because he's dead anyway, ahah, and I can see the cool meme live
>he faceless manipulator the meme road warrior
>He super charge his iron dick into my throat deeply 8 time
>gargle sounds, puke and saliva everywhere
YOU FACE JARAXXUS
Surprise it's actually
Do you have some weird card that hunts you, /hsg/? Coz I have one, its PitLord, every time i see purple glowing when I opened a classic pack, I hope for one of druid epics, or BGH, but NO, ITS FUCKING PITLORD. I disenchanted 3 pitlords allready (I still have 2 in my collection) one of them was fucking arena reward. Today it happened again, I saw purple glowing, prayed for BGH to finish my Renolock. GUESS WHAT WAS IT! It was fucking PitLord, and to spice things up, it was Golden ffs. I mean 400 dust is great and all, but I would prefer some other meme epic card.
Still missing one more angry trees, so I guess that's that.
I remember unpacking atleast 6-7 doomhammers before TGT and dusting all but one thinking "Why would Shaman ever need 2 of them in a deck?" Now aggro Shaman became a tier 1 deck and I feel like an complete idiot.
>never offered paladin
>not in the last 7 runs
>always this shit
Anyway, which one sucks the least?
>tfw you don't draft a silence in arena
>tfw when a paladin has a 8/7 nerubian egg by turn 4
Even in constructed I play against more and more paladins that just go full yolo with their blessing of kings on minions with avenge without caring for silence. When will Blizzard finally introduce decent neutral silences?
It loses to shitty drops but at least not for free because you get a spell, so it's quite good.
You can also force a good trade against popular 4/5-drops like belcher, fen creeper, or pit fighter.
brann has synergy with argus, dark iron, abusive, peddeler or even void terror.
"Brann is already good by himself. He is like Thaurissan. If he hits the board, your opponent can't let him on board more than 1 round. So sometimes he gets overvalued even if you have no cards for his effect on hand because your opponent want to remove him no matter what! So your opponent does bad trades or just use a Swipe, Fireball or other removals just to remove him quickly. 2/4 is a good body too for trades because you have so many buff cards."
ayy lmao paladin is fair & balanced just like it is in constructed
>expecting paladin to have less than 4 keepers
KEEPER OF ULDAMAN IS A FUCKING JOKE IT HAS LITERALLY MADE ARENA UNPLAYABLE
EVERY PALADIN HAS AT LEAST 2 OF THEM
WHY WOULD THEY MAKE IT A FUCKING COMMON SERIOUSLY WHAT THE FUCK
FUCKING STUPID DEVELOPERS WHO HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THE FUCK THEY'RE DOING
THIS GAME HAS LITERALLY THE WORST DEVELOPERS EVER
Play enough to become good at the game. Seriously, you just have to focus on micro optimizations. Actually think about what you're doing as opposed to automatically playing the cards.
>13,496 viewers on MaSsanSC
>worgen combo in the only class that can make it happen and also has the best card draw, weapons, removal, and healing of all classes is balanced
Hearthstone needs more 7 mana minions
is this viable?/
>when you draft wrynn in arena but you win every game too early to play it
Anyfin in still more bullshit because you don't have to hold on to your combo cards so they are never just dead in your hand. All you have to is draw your shit and throw in your murlocs to die and after all the boardclears and heal you just otk them or maybe sometimes with the second one.
Worgen warrior draws rampage, charge, worgen early and it's just dead in his hand because he loses his win condition when he plays them.
what legendary should I craft? I essentially only have Sylvanus atm. I'm thinking probably a neutral, and probably dr 7 but justicar and ysera both seem pretty choice as well, and I need alex if i ever want to build a freeze mage deck (which i do)
When should I usually drop Harrison against secret paladin?
Is it best to hold onto him to museum Ashbringer? Is museuming Light's Justice a waste? What about Coghammer and Truesilver?
You only play 1 copy of those 3 cards, though. Otherwise the rest of the deck is removal, healing, and cycling, and it has been incredibly easy for me to cycle through literally my entire deck against any matchup that requires the worgen to win (control matchups with lots of healing and AoE for patrons, basically).
Also don't act like anyfin doesn't have more dead cards it can draw early, like anyfin or LoH.
depends, are you sure the game goes over 10 turns, then save it.
do you need the draw? use on lj
do you want to reduce his pressure and got a backup owl? museum truesilver or cog
Use it whenever you'd get something out and you can afford the mana cost.
If you skip a situation to drop him you will probably never find one again, since you'd need to use the mana on other shit later, like surviving.
was replaced to something even more cancer
>tfw I miss mech mage, face hunter
What the hell is going on here? Everything is just sitting there not attacking.
>game is polluted with shit cards now
>drafted 4 or 5 useful class cards in last 6 arena runs
>constantly drafting these shit cards
Would expanding draft choices to 4 ever happen?
After playing this tavern brawl multiple times, I have concluded that a lot of hearthstone players are stupid and cannot adapt to change. They are only copying what pro players do without thinking about the reason behind it.
you probably have shitty wins
once you get to 30-50 wins the only people you will play with are ones that know how to do the brawl by heart
its easy to farm wins then
remember you are matched with people with similar wins, so if you have 1-5 you are playing with people who only played and won the brawl a few times
it took my about 4 games to get my first win because of bad partners
at least some aren't completely braindead
>5$ giveaway every game, and to all new subs!
its hilarious how twitch lets people do things to try and get banned, but wont ban them because they make the site money
if someone with only 10 views was doing this, or camwhoring like the sluts of twitch they would be banned instantly
>secret shitters BTFO.jaypeg
I am not complaining about the speed of them playing (at least they are thinking) or winrate here. The problem is people don't know how to mulligan and what minion to play on board and what to trade in to the mechazod.
Also my first game was amazing. Me and my partner work together like we talked about it before.
>its hilarious how x happens
>x is something painfully obvious even a toddler wouldn't be surprised by its occurence
>did I say I was shocked
You arent very smart are you.
Whats hilarious is that they dont even hide it anymore. You ever hear the term, you can fool some of the people all of the time, or all of the people some of the time?
Thats whats going on with Massan and Twitch, except everyone knows its bullshit and twitch cant hide it anymore. Yet they still do nothing, when they have banned other people for much less.
Thats whats funny. Now run along and play outside before your parents get mad you are on the computer all day
Whats the point of having Magma Rager when theres Ice Rager?
Whats the point of Booty Bay Raper when theres Heckler?
New cards exist to make money by making old ones useless or worse
massan sold his account to a french guy after he got exposed for viebotting, now that guy is trying to scam trick people into subscribing so he can get more money or get the account banned
Not really, just amazed at your autism and how retarded you are
c-can I do it senpaitachi?
4 WINS, 0 LOSSES.
AM I THE BEST HEARTHSTONE PLAYER OF ALL TIME?
>I have no friends so I have to use /hsg/ to make blog posts about my awesome netdeck and deck tracker beating secret paladins! Arent they such cancer guys, arent I so good?!?! Please like me.
SO FUN PLAYING AGAINST PALADINS :DDDD
>WHAT DO WE CALL AGGRO DECKS THAT CURVE OUT ALL THE WAY TO TIRION?
Just yesterday I've had a game where I went chow, minibot, muster, shredder, belcher, quartermaster, dr. boom topdecking most of this shit. The opponent quit before I could drop tirion. You can deal with all this shit, but it's pretty difficult unless you also draw a perfect curve and/or have the rich man at your disposal.
However, this happens to me pretty rarely. More often I'm forced to make weaker plays like juggler+hero power on t4, or coghammer a token on t3. But in general, midrange paladin is designed to constantly put shit on board that has immediate effect and if you have no counterplay, you get hit in the face.
No, I fought a Shaman.
ALSO 5 WINS, 0 LOSSES. BOW BEFORE ME, MORTALS.
>Play around mc tech all day
>I guess they don't run it
>The one turn you have 4 minions this fucker shows up and steals the best one
>even though it's legal and specifically deemed not cheating by the creators of the game, I still think it's cheating
You're a scub then.
BOW BEFORE ME.
I almost lost, but I top decked my Frostbolt when he had 3 health left.
i was going to pick deathwing but apparently heartharena tier list says the 10-7-7
If you play mech/tempo, just play annoyotron, mechwarper or snowchugger on turn 2. Not ideal, but he can't trade favorably with it because there is no way he can kill your minion on his t2 unless it's a murloc deck and he has the bluegill.
If you play freeze mage, you don't really need to worry about minibot, just ping the shield when you have free mana for hero power.
Is this is what you're looking for? I don't know any edits with Kaiba in them.
Your god has arrived.
I misremembered, that's the one
LE BALANCED BEARD KEK OF MANY SECRETS XDD
I would think it's easier to rage against something you can't control? If a game is 100% skill and I lose I don't get mad because the mistake is on me.
In SC2 i don't get mad, I just get sad...
NO! THIS CAN'T BE HAPPENING!
Whew. Last game must have just been a fluke. BACK TO WINNING.
HOW FAR DO YOU THINK I'LL GO /hsg/?
Who's that dotaman?
In my defense all the epics were from back when Paladin was the shit class and I pulled MC from a pack
Because you didn't answer my question and it's very important. Like, I've been considering starting to play patron warrior because from what I've heard it's favored against paladins, and since there's a lot of paladins on ladder that's what I mean by "what is the best deck for laddering?".
>When your opponent sacrifice Grom' on the altar of Fear.
Undertaker hunter was something like 90% of the ladder back in the day, shit was crazy. I kind of miss it though. It was so dependable that you'd be running into hunter after hunter that you could just make a full-on anti-hunter hate deck and climb easily. I got legend off the backs of undertaker hunters.
Nowadays paladins are everywhere but only like 30, maybe 40%. There are so many other random shits you can run into from any class that it makes it impossible to just hate out one deck and climb because then you're bound to run into priests and warriors and renolocks and lose stars.
I did answer your question. Secret paladin is the best deck for laddering. If you wanted to know what's best against secret paladin, maybe you should have asked that. In which case, patron is probably the best counter for it. That is if you can play it right.
>tfw you realize that "fatigue" priest doesn't refer to the damage you take after you draw your whole deck, but rather how it makes its opponent feel after playing for an hour even if they win, they don't want to play anymore.
How am I supposed to beat these paladins in arena when they all have AT LEAST 2 Keeper of Uldamans on top of all the other op bullshit paladins have?
why are hearthstone players so unimaginative that most decks are named '[card] [class]'
is it so as not to confuse and overwhelm the playerbase?
Turn 2 Milhouses/Cho's have turned into an instant quit for me. Sometimes I give them the benefit of the doubt, but when they're wasting spells with no bonus on top of that it's not worth the time to see us lose (because I want them to lose).
>3-0 in arena
>match just started, looking good for me
Why isn't malyrogue played more?
>Destroys every single fucking control deck if allowed to get a single tick of Emperor
>Even though Blade Flurry deals the weapon's damage for some reason it also scales with spell damage
I mean the whole "it loses to fast aggro decks" kinda applies to everything except other fast aggro decks so why not?
Is this annoying enough? I'm thinking 2 mana instead
Rate and post OC
It's fun and easy
Play mutually beneficial cards until late game
Don't attack with anything under 4 attack
Only drop cho and memehouse when mage starts playing his spell damage minions
Mirror entity is for aviana or cho
Is Sea Giant a reasonable replacement for Mountain giant in renolock?
Also is Eerie Statue worth running in this type of deck? Dies to BGH and costs 2 more than Ancient Watcher, but there are so many BGH targets in renolock anyway it doesn't seem to matter.
coin shattered sun
dagger turn 3
barber and/or defias turn 4
cleric and chow should be enough to deal with whatever hits on turn 3 without using your dagger, if you need to use your dagger to maintain tempo you can still re-equip and play the autobarber on turn 4 if you really want that one extra damage on the dagger over the two bodies
I'm running this currently and doing okay, but it's not the optimal deck.
Cards you can cut:
- Dr. Boom (I'm mostly running it because once people see it's a murloc deck, they throw away their removals like bgh or Entomb more freely and then they need to deal with Boom)
- Sludge Belcher
- Ironbeak Owl (I just don't want to deal with Tirion and other dangerous shit since the game always takes at least 10 turns)
Cards to add:
+ Antique Healbot
+ Acolyte of Pain
Some versions of this deck don't even run minibots and keeper of uldaman, but I'm not that confident yet.
No and no. Sea Giant needs a flood play style to work, and Renolock only has IGB and Imp-losion to flood, wich is absolutely not enough. Eerie statue could maybe work in some sort of silence druid, but absolutely not in Reno
Why don't you run Loot Hoarder over Minibutts?
you use him as needed essentially
ideally you use him on ashbringer but if you need answers to his board quickly you use it on LJ or cog
i really don't like using him against truesilver, one card in that matchup is hardly what you need especially since there are other weapons that are going to give more value
i pretty much will only harrison a truesilver when his hand is completely empty
it doesn't matter what you harrison though since he'll just punish you for playing well with divine favor
paladins are awesome
>the only reason the economy is tanking is because idiots are using it
>the only reason we aren't living on mars is because no geniuses are being born
>the only reason I'm not rich is because Hitler didn't kill enough jews
>the only reason the economy is tanking is because idiots are running it
This is actually true, though.
What I find interesting is how hard he focuses yet how often he still loses to broken shit. He roped so much against this mage that antonidas fireball'd him to death through healbots and taunts. He also mull'd a dark bomb against mage and because of it couldn't kill an ethereal conjurer on turn 5 which he took 6 free damage from and had to sacrifice a twilight to.
Like... despite how hard he focuses and thinks he still loses like anyone else and is still in the dumpster ranks, it's funny yet sad. I was wondering if I should emulate him when I play hearthstone but it seems like it honestly doesn't help, most of the time when you lose it's to bullshit outside of your control.
>using Hex on voidcaller
>not killing voidcaller then hexing malganis
Translation:I have no skill and blame a certain class for my failures.
You can also play Paladin, its not forbidden you know. But if you start playing it than you will have nobody to blame when you get rekt right?
>tfw even if they nerf.....Paladin will always be cancer
Just because something works it must be cancer right?
So people who use iPhones are retarded for using a superior smartphone just like people who play paladin because its an awesome class?
Paladin isn't even that bad the majority of the time, people just have PTSD from that one time they got dr.1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8'd even though that almost never happens. They forget all of the times they drew all of their secrets and lost board control and lost.
These kids don't even seem to know pre-nerf patron, let alone shit like pre-nerf undertaker. When the ladder was literally 80-90% one deck because it was so fucking consistently broken. Wouldn't even be surprised if most of the complaints come from people playing some shitty meme deck like midrange shaman or something and being angry it's losing to real decks.
I've played everything from control priest to midrange pally to aggro shaman to tempo mage and they all fucking destroy secret pally. I currently play worgen patron and that equally if not more so destroys secret pally.
It's really not that hard if you don't suck and play a real deck instead of some meme garbage. tbqh you can even get hands with good decks that can beat a dr.1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8 curve. It's really really strong but hardly impossible to beat with a really strong hand of your own with a good deck, imagine dragon priest in a similar curved scenario for example. Plus, again, they rarely get godhands. I think most people on /hsg/ are just bad at the game and like to scapegoat whatever the most popular deck is instead of getting better, you see even when they're recommended top tier decks they complain they're "boring" so they don't want to play them, and yet wonder why they lose.
>mod hearthstone to make ocean man play when I play neptulon
it's so fucking silly but I like it so much
>stealing a mage's ice block as reno lock
Is there a more delicious thing ever?
>being this mad
all I did was play an abusive sargent to buff my voidwalker to kill is twilight whelp
You have any idea how MAD you were going, son?
guys predictions? also tips :(
>go back to r/hearthstone
>throws tempertantrum spouting more reddit memes than anyone else in the entire thread
perhaps you should follow your own advice, ya?
I think most complaints are beause of how autopilot secret paladin is. I admit I often concede when I see the usual shit on turn 6 and I have no answer to it on board or in hand.
Midrange or murloc paladin is another thing entirely, but there is still bitching because muh paladin. Midrange is entirely based on superior minions because it doesn't have burst damage. If you curve out perfectly, you often win, but so does any other midrange deck. If you have bad draws, you can still make an occasional comeback due to card quality, but even if you're alive by that time, the opponent is far ahead on board and probably has answers to whatever you could play in hand.
Worgen patron is fucking ridiculous, but it doesn't get even half the hate despite relatively easy otk because it's not paladin and requires several cards to pull off the otk.
Main point was that while I agree it's braindead easy to pilot for the most part, it's nowhere near the power level of other OP horrors of christmas past.
You compare it to other cards/decks that have been nerfed and they aren't even in the same ballpark. This is easy to see when you consider how many different decks see regular play on ladder these days, from all classes.
Gang Up is meh in arena.
Fossilized Devilsaur is kinda shitty unless you have beast to activate it, then it's like Ironbark Protector which is good.
Windfury Harpy is also kind of shit.
The rest is solid.
Guys how viable is worgen patron? Is it actually good or is it just a meme? And is it worth playing over the standard version of patron?
reminder that day9 has anger issues and is a gigantic narcissist that fucks people over for his personal gain while still feeding off the friendly persona he paints
