Got him down to 40% then he smacked my shit, can someone please help me end my suffering?
Pass is bb1, ringing outside the fog gate
I was able to kill her with just a cane but if you mean SL4 then yeah. I'd never do that to myself after trying a few level 1 builds. It wasn't challenging so much as tedious as fuck. I just couldn't deal with how long shit takes to kill.
>when you get combo'd hard by someone
I want to stomp on my balls.
>enter large pitch black room
>2 spider summoning cunts
>2 projectile ayyy lmaos
>werewolves all over the place
I wish I could help, anon, but all I can do is provide pointers.
Dodge to your right, his left, and stay behind him and when he jumps away, IMMEDIATELY close that distance. Stay close to him as much as you can. When he throws that shit into the ground, dodge the fuck away. He's parryable in BOTH forms, too.
You can do it, anon, I believe in you. I beat him just today. He's tough, he's fucking tough, but he's possible.
Don't remember to attack the black smoke on the Kos corpse at the end, too.
Plenty, anon. The Axe's tricked form has a very nice L2 with a wide swing and the charged R2 will knocked whole groups down, and single larger ones.
I mained it the whole game, along with Saw Cleaver for speedier hits. Any weapon is viable with the right stats, upgrades and gems.
If you don't mind farming Heavy gems, most weapons that were previously Q-Str now work best as pure Strength.
Hunter Axe, Saw Cleaver, Kirkhammer, Whirligig, Beast Cutter.
get the DLC blood rock
get the three pvp covenant runes
get the coop covenant rune
get the 2 weapon related runes
get the living string
any pure str weapon like kirk or amy arm
all are great on a 50/25
>buffing in the FC
I mean, it's not against the rules, but really?
Buffing adds negligible damage increases in BB. You can't even can't compare it to the souls games.
You can defend top tier gems + no healing then bitch about BMA and LE in the same breath.
First webm of tonight. This person beat me and then our next fight I beat them in 10 seconds. We were pretty even over all tonight.
At level 140 you can have 40 in 3 scaling stats and the game only has 4 scaling stats. That's just ridiculous.
She was an accidental creation, but it was still by my had that she was brought into this world.
Is it possible to do well in PvP without farming for gems with retarded low drop chances?
I want to do some PvP but I already took my character up to BL 120 and I imagine most people in that range have really good gems.
So I heard that you guys don't like Ludwig's Holy Blade because it makes the game easy or something?
But I've only have one completion and I really like the way it looks and feels so I wanted to try a build for it. What should I focus on to complement that weapon?
Yeah, the DLC gems are plenty. I just wouldn't take them into a serious business FC.
. . . and this . . . is to autism . . . even further beyond!
Some people just have unfinished builds, but feel like playing.
You were saying?
Since you didn't specify, I'm assuming BL98 end level.
>Option #1: 49/15/45/25/8/6 BL98 Military Veteran
Put 1x 65/15 Heavy Abyssal in it, and the rest 27.2%s. A 24.8/15 tempering is optional and increases its AR by a little bit. Also optional, decreasing Endurance to increase Skill for extra damage. Replacing the +15 flat secondaries with +%vs. Open Foes also optional.
Pros: best damage:survivability ratio of all the builds listed here.
Cons: requires lots of stats, resulting in low Endurance. Heavy gem is recommended.
Overall: Recommended if you don't mind farming BLB and prefer high AR over high viscerals.
>Option #2: 49/15/25/45/8/6 BL98 Military Veteran
Get full 27.2s. Optionally, replace the radials with 24.8/15 temperings.
Pros: Best visceral damage of all the builds listed here. Doesn't require Heavy gem farming.
Cons: also requires lots of stats. Compared to build #1 with a Heavy gem, loses ~25 AR, or without a Heavy gem, loses ~5 AR.
Overall: Recommended if you don't want to farm BLB. The extra visceral damage is worth losing 5 AR on a full 27.2% set-up.
>Option #3: 50/21/50/13/8/6 BL98 Military Veteran
You can drop stamina to get 15 Arcane if you'd like, or vit-gouge a bit. Requires 1x Heavy Abyssal
Pros: More available stat points to spend how you like. Heavy gems make the Strength scaling for Stake Driver favorable enough that you can go pure Strength on it.
Cons: Less damage. ~30 less AR than build #1. If you choose to vit-gouge, you still get a worse damage:survivability ratio than build #1. Absolutely must farm a Heavy gems in order to be worth using.
Overall: I only recommend this if you really want 15 Arcane (drop Stamina to 12) or feel that 15 Stamina from the other builds is too low.
gg fags. It's was bad FC today thanks to the servers. Do I use BoM in right way or not?
>spend remaining echoes on pebbles and coins to throw at people
I love pebbles and pebble culture!
I'm hoping Dark Souls 3 doesn't take inspiration from BB as far as weapon upgrades go. I much rather my weapons hit as hard as my stats say they should and not whatever bullshit I have to farm from the godawful Chalice Dungeons>>128825986
>fighting Orphan of Kos on NG+
>don't really want to put up with his shit today
>stack some HP Up runes to get a shitload of HP and make the fight a lot easier
I hope they make scaling relevant again rather than arbitrary boost items.
In dark souls 2 you needed rings to do damage and in bloodborne you need gems. I liked it better in dark souls 1 where you can get a +15 weapon but the only thing that mattered was your stats.
I'm going to bed, maybe I'll beat him tomorrow, r-right?
It would be best is they stuck with BB style upgrades, only, give every weapon on gem slot and instead of it increasing scaling, just have it change it. So you can slot a quality gem into it to make scale from str and dex, or a magic gem to make is scale from int.
In other news, how common is WebM related happening? No matter what direction I pushed the control stick in, I could only move in a straight line.
I've had stuff like this happen occasionally, where the AI just shuts off mid-fight. It usually comes back after I attack it a couple times. Can't remember which bosses it happened with, though.
Question for those who follow the 98 meta, since most people put 50 into their damage stat and 50 into their vigor for PVP, which do you guys sacrifice? A few points of health, or a few of weapon stat?
I'm looking for help do fucking bad. Long story short, I haven't played Bloodborne since October but still bought the DLC in November but never played it.
I got a new modem Friday and hooked it up thus returning the Time Warner Cable modem. Since then EVERY FUCKING TIME I try to fucking play Online the second the game starts up I lost connection to server. If I plug the PS4 to modem it works so it's clearly the fucking router. I somehow got it to run for 5 hours today then watched Netflix for 2 hours then going back to Bloodborne the network won't connect again.
I'm getting real fucking salty over here, can ANYONE please help or have any idea what to do. I don't want to keep having to move cable from router to modem just to play Bloodborne.
Corrected for errors.
You don't need to sacrifice either at 98, unless you're using a quality weapon, in which most people here (incorrectly) reduce vitality, but you should usually reduce damage stat. Depends on the weapon and how you have it gemmed, but reducing damage stat is almost always the way to go. 49 vit is OK, though.
blt is fun
buscemi has several 78 builds
If you're laggy those ''wrathful spirits'' won't do any dmg but they'll still stagger you even if you dodge them.
I still wanna try a BLT build one day, along with an ARC build.
His anus is still bleeding from all that bloodlettering
Jack of all Trades, fuck da haters
He even sent me a fucking screen shot of his builds...
he has a youtube btw. I dont think he remembers me
got a mouthful of giant snake
Actually, If he doesn't dupe - he is real champion and vileblood number one. And
looks like he's really number one
yeah he spent literally forever in mensis on his formerly level 100 bt dude with a regular form chikage and an evelyn just beating down retards
if you played pre-dlc you'd have found him in mensis eventually
I'd understand Demon Souls or Dark Souls but holy fuck, not bloodborne. It's not even because it's not good, I rate it #1 out of all the games, it's just that there's only so much you can experiment with before you get bored.
Just killed Rai again, that's a pretty good way to end the night. Good fights mates, see you guys next week. Renault out.
Can any brave soul accompany me through Maria and on into the well to get the Rakuyo right now? I'm level 70.
Want to grab it asap and two or three people will make it easy. I didn't bother last playthrough because it wasn't a skill build.
Can anyone recommend me a good USB so that i can take away all my BB recordings from my ps4?
Why do I even bother playing strength builds in these games anymore. Fucking Rakuyo can break the hyper armor of a HMS and Wheel, with fucking Chicago out damaging my 800+ ar weapons is fucking insane.
I really hope strength weapons are given their proper due in ds3.
>Using DLC weapons last couple months because they're the new hot shit
>Getting blown up because I keep switching which ones I'm using, gemming up, never practicing any single weapon for long
>Most of them don't really mesh with my playstyle
>mfw I see my trusty Threaded Cane while scrolling through inventory
post yfw you switch to your main
and as a bonus, here's a webm of him getting parried
i'd literally be posting your pic but i if i had to pic something else
I knew this guy back in DeS 4-1 days. He was a laughingstock of the community. Nobody fucking liked him, and this DeathStalkerRai act is exactly what I'd expect from him.
I had to dust off my old cleaver.
You parried me earlier in the FC.
I was really salty because I did an R1 when I meant to do a running attack, and if I'd done the running attack, I wouldn't have been parried.
That was like four hours ago and I'm still mad, actually.
it's not even about hitting them, it's the fact they can out damage me in almost all occasions. Why the fuck does a spin to win l2 of a fucking sabre and dagger do more damage then a charged r2 of a wheel or hms?
Maybe I'm the faggot in this FC but I'v fought too many pure skill Rakuyo Shitters tonight for my taste.
Cane and Axe are too good for me whenever I make new str/skill builds. Can carry you thru the whole game by themselves or when you have to use that new weapon for your build. Really love how starting weapons in this are viable You guys may not be the hot new shit but I know I can depend on you motherfuckers
''Arcane build'' lil nigg you need better gems and more hp for pvping
Fight her one more time alone. You won't die, partner.
>How soon after the Living Failures is Maria?
She's in the next room.
>And how soon after her is the Rakuya?
It's in the area right after Maria. You'll reach an area with a well. Go down the well, it's in there.
If anyone else wants to join that'd be great. Trying to grab the rakuyo before i have to go to bed, which sadly, is relatively soon since i've gotta start getting ready to wake up early for uni.
>really not feeling the weapon and how it flows with its attacks as opposed to the BoM
>switch back to my trusty daggers
I'll never leave you, best daggers in the souls games
I don't think that's how the dregs get in.
Although how do they get in? Does Annalise just pull up her dress and you just kinda slide them in like coins into a vending machine?
>The reason eileen was on the steps is because she was trying to drain/digest all the blood-cum packed into each of her holes, making her look pregnant
>And Crowsteel didn't believe in cuddling after
>she didn't die, he just made her ahegao so hard, the aftershocks sent her back into the hunter's dream.
>get waning offshape on 2nd try farming watcher
>31.5% blood attack
>ATK down 7.9%
Anyone wonder what'll be like to fight Odeon if he wans't formless? If so what kind of level stage and final stage would be like? Pic related i imagine something like this to enter the great one world
>Try for constable leggings
>Cleared the ticks under the bridge with ease thanks to my giant flaming hammer
>Decide to do much the same and just run in and smash like an idiot
>Stunlocked for a whole five seconds while all four of them spit at me
Holyshit. Spit OP, pls nerf
So who wants to have a super fun time dying together to Ludwig, the rape horse, with me?
Ringing at the fog, BL 115, pass bbg
I'm done wiping on this. Can I get some help anons?
>Ludwig the Rapehorse
>Can get him to next form with my 45 ARC and +8 Fire Saw Spear with maybe 5 or less Vials.
>He gets that sword
>Always combos my 20 VIT from full to zero.
Should I just start my character over or do I just need more eyes?
>Anyone wanna help? these guys are assholes.
Just drop down, aggro the one, run back up the ladder an run around to the two winerlanterns, kill them and if you have bowblade or some kind of ranged damage, take shots at them rom the ledge.
this is like that thing in anime where two guys do their katana slice thing and only one of them gets out
I fell for the Rakuyo, but I can't abandon my true love, the Reiterpallasch.
>killed cleric beast 3rd try after getting him within a sliver of life first try
>currently mildly stuck on father gazza, again nearly killing him the first time
I really hope this doesn't become a pattern.
alright, I'm out
there's no way I don't need sleep after literally standing still and eating three (tres, 3, III) tricked meme cutter R1
glad I came back to spank dris and get some practice with what was presumably the fabled strayan korean bloodletter
>27.2 is what you want. Flat arcs give you a higher number on your stat sheet, but less overall damage.
Thanks, that was the whole reason I asked since I used that weapon AR calculator shown me that the latter had higher AR
WOW I'M AN IDIOT, EVERY DEATH SO FAR HAS BEEN BACKPEDALING INTO TOMBSTONES AND TAKING THE RED EYE TO STUNLOCK CITY
THANK YOU BROTHER
If that doesn't work try and keep the group of tombstones closest to the gate between you and him. You should be able to hit him without taking damage for the first two phases.
>Cooping in Forbidden Woods
>invaded by "g"
>lags like fuck
>immediately turns around and runs into enemies when he sees my summon
>summon dies to snekballs
>invader continues to hound my ass in a pile of enemies
>15 minute fight ensues where neither of us can hit one another because of his McDonald's wifi connection
>land a hit
>land a combo
>cant parry his laggy R1 spam
>close game out of frustration
why the fuck can invaders heal again?
Man, i hate ATK down gems so much.
>Get to the end of the game
>Now my shack is permanently on fire and there's a really angry old dude next door
Not too comfy right now
Talk to the NPC in the Forbidden Woods in the hut near the first lantern and he'll give you an Oath Rune. Equip it and you'll be able to summon him and another guy, but the other guy will probably try and fight the two Void giants.
>Just beat Maria first try without using a single fucking parry
Take your blood weebshit katana and shove it up your cavernous cunt you uppity gigawhore. Based Hunter > Shitty anime protag maria
>Just beat ludwig in under 4 minutes, gattling spammed him to 25% and hammered him to 0%
I mean, I summoned valtr and the other cannon fodder, who died like he always does, but I've never had this fight so easy before, and I've never done it first go on a character. Holy shit.
Agreed, it's the worst fucking shit, shouldn't even be a curse
i was trying to use Saif on my main for a while, it was never as fun or effective as Burial blade for me, i still have it gemmed and equipped because i want to believe it's good, but the scythe just works better for me
101 me please.
I want to use the Holy Moonlight Sword. I just did a low-level run through Ludwig to acquire it. As I'm wanting to make use to both sides it's going to be kind of a STR/ARC build, and it seems Nourishing Gems are the best for this.
In the pastebin in the OPs, it says Lost weapons are good for split-damage weapons that need nourishing gems, so I am going to get me one of those, but my question is, being kind of dumb when it comes to the chalice system...
The trade is a Radial for a Waning slot. Why is this better for the nourishing?
Because you'll be getting abyssal nourishing from layer 3 Amy for your waning and triangle slots. Your radial nourishing just won't ever be as good.
Worth noting, though, is that nourishing radials are easier to get because you can farm regular-ass gargoyles for them. But they're worse.
I honestly hope they remove this shit.
i farmed top tier gems on 4 characters BLT and ARC were fucking cancer and I don't see myself doing it again in DS3.
Is this alright?
If I want to go to 120 what should I do?
Question: I want to get the burial blade, but I don't want to go into NG+ yet. Can I eat 3 umbilical cords, kill gehrman, then die/bold hunter's mark out of the moon presence and still have access to his gear?
>Create chalice dungeon
>First floor boss is Bloodletting Beast
>Second floor boss is headless Bloodletting Beast
Gettin' real tired of your shit, beast
>Lameass gank squads all over Hunter's Nightmare
Do these people think they're clever? I know I can't invade them unless they have a buddy, if I see them alone I'm just going to be looking out for him.
I keep upgrading different weapons and gemming them up, but I always finding myself goin' back to ol' faithful
Nothin' personal, beast.
>>"Lost connection to server. Returning to main menu"
So, I figured out the problem and honestly it makes zero sense. So you know on the PS4 menu when your highlighted Bloodborne icon, below is is the manual, Online Gear etc. Those are blacked out and empty but if I wait 2 minutes they fill in. Once they are filled in I can play the game no problem.
Why the fuck is this the only PS4 game doing this?
>the Clock Tower is actually the doll's nightmare, which you free her from by killing Maria
>Maria didn't actually exist
>she's just the doll's idea of what being a hunter is like, and her idea of how Gehrman wants her to be
I think that's a personal issue, mine always light right up.
Also, you should never click ok on that message. Quite often you will get the invasion/summon ten seconds after that message pops up, and clicking okay doesn't boot you once you're in someone else's world.
Maria as doll fanfiction seems somewhat plausible. We all read her as a fanfictiony type character already, and given how she feels about the good hunter, she might think that's exactly as badass as the player is.
Well, you can never know for sure whether it's an assembly line or if they just retreated and setup an ambush as soon as the message popped up, but when you're invading at BL100 and a host lures you back to the first lantern while his summon tries to stand inconspicuously in the skeptical man's alcove, it's hard not to think it's a gank.
