Does anybody in here remember an old game, maybe from about ten years ago or so, that was an indie platformer for PC, but the graphics were entirely white noise?

That is, the background was white noise, but it was moving around, while foreground elements such as the platforms and the player character were static elements, thus allowing the player to see what they were controlling. I believe the concept was that if you were to take screencaps of the game, said screenshots would be unintelligible and pure white noise, and it was a game that needed to be seen in motion in order to be truly understood.

I've been searching for this game for a while, but I can't find it anywhere. Please tell me I wasn't crazy and that this game actually existed.

the Tex thing has to do more on how you wan to settle him in the story and also how he is, clothes tell a lot.

for example, when wearing the sumo clothes one could assume he got into the style of sumo and lives of it as a rule, it might give him also a visual ridiculous style

the red jacket one has some martial arts type of movie influence, but seems more like a guy you would find in a gang, tough and harsh. he also looks older than sumo tex

The one without the jacket makes him stand out more, which is a good thing because he's slightly disconnected from the rest of the world of Olathe in his fighting style and way of thinking. I did the second one because I worried he'd stick out too much, but now that I think of it, it's for the better that he'd stick out.

Even in the game itself, you got characters who are similar.

Tigerman is pretty much Rage + bleeds and joy addiction.

There are several "hits everybody but has low accuracy attackers" like Shocklord, Fly, Fardy, and Ollie.

As long as the character himself is original, they can still share some of the same RPG mechanics.

Someone redesigning my anonymous ideas is making me way happier than it should, this must be what phantom writers feel when their books sell well.

Anyway, have you guys played Hand of Fate? It's a pretty fun "rougelite" game with the combat system very similar to that of the Batman Arkham and Assassins Creed games, but with a very /tg/-ish twist. It's nicely difficult, the presentation is amazing and most of all, its quite fun. Not worth 23€ though, i'd suggest a pirate first.

The artist was at first attracted to the series because of the so-bad-it's-kinda-good factor. He started to toy around with the idea that Bubsy could possibly be a transwoman because of the female VA who occasionally used her Bubsy voice and then a more feminine voice.

They were disappointed over no new Bubsy games, but they understood that the games were bad, anyway. The idea behind combining Bubsy and Space Funeral was born when he got into Space Funeral, and then he found out that the guy who made the game also made a silly Bubsy fangame

So it's sort of like a tribute to both Bubsy and Space Funeral

I'm not Kohai, and I never will be Kohai, but I've been able to open up Lisa the painful/joyful in RPG VXAce so I could make a fangame from it.

All you need to do is copy/paste the game's files into a new project's file (replacing them). The game's data and graphic are protected by a encryptor so you need to download an RPGmaker decryptor. Using the decryptor you can get full access to the game's graphic and data files. Copy these into the new project from before after extracting them after decryption. Open it up and RPGmaker VXAce and hell yeah, you've got full access to all the ins and outs of the game,
