>Got my beast cutta out, fire papered, just curbstomping paarl's head, grounding him
>Anatal whips out his flemmen werfer and werfs it all over him while the cutta just sings through the air
That was fucking brutal
Looking for the Undead looking character sliders.
I saw an anon with a bald looking undead type character. Even if you don't have the sliders, I'd appreciate a screenshot of your character so I can see how you look, so I can get some inspiration on making an undead looking character.
I was thinking of making a Beast Cutter build that could do ok in PVP. My idea was I space hit with well spaced whip attacks and then when they try to run away and heal I finish them off with a gatling gun or Blunderbuss. I would organize my stats like this
You still get a little damage from the skill stat on Beast Cutter so I thought I'd at least keep it to the soft cap. You need all the damage you can get with this weapon. I really don't know what I'm doing.
I already finished NG and went on to NG+, but haven't played through the DLC. I heard the DLC is pretty hard compared to the regular game, will I just get trampled if I try to play through it for the first time in NG+?
Pretty strong. L2 will more than like reduce the other players HP to 10% in one hit.
Dash R1 is hilariously OP.
Plus you get access to OP as fuck spells.
Or you could use a build that doesn't suck.
NG+ DLC is not going to be that bad if you are playing on a finished 98 build. If you try going into with a crappy build though, you will probably get your shit pushed in.
98 is the PvP and co-op meta round dese parts. Also, yes, very easily in fact.
All this beast cutter shit has me interested. I remember using it on my Arcane Character. I also remember loving it. Thinking it was one of the better weapons of the DLC
Since I also haven't used Amy Arm. Figured I'd use both of them combined. And just get the base SKL for Whirligig just incase I find something difficult.
How is Amy Arm and Beast Cutter in PVP
Then I'd probably go with something similar to pic related if you're dedicate to having 15 STR and 15 Skl.
This way, you can use Ludwig's Holy Blade, Holy Moonlight Greatsword and Whirligig Saw if you choose to.
Ludwig's is actually great for Arcane users since it has A Scaling if I remember correctly. Whirligig is OP as fuck. And considering it's a Serrated weapon in it's transformed state, makes it great for killing beasts with Fire Gems. And Holy Moonlight Greatsword is just a pretty weapon.
>There's a sewer connected to a library
>That's connected to a Cathedral
>Going through the sewer is required to go from the cemetery to get to the cathedral
Who was the architect for Yarnham?
Post sliders, bath messenger would be appreciated.
All I have in return is Micolash Cage.
That's the back way, sort of like how most residents of Anor Londo would not be walking up rafters to get to the cathedral. They'd be going through the big front gates, if they were open.
Look when you're drunk on blood all the time stuff like this makes more sense, lay off the guy will ya?
He tried his best and that's what counts in a town that made an elevator that works by shoving a medallion in a dead man's skull.
what's your favorite right hand and left hand weapons /bbg/?
mines kirk and blunderbuss :3
>yfw the next Bloodborne or DaS3 has a giant slug boss that teleports tentacles at you and smashes it's twisted hands together to summon a call beyond
Please take our blood good hunter~
>invade a host
>he's using the stake driver
>he doesn't even scratch me
>hit him once with a single tricked blade of mercy R1
>third of his health disappears
>he heals it off
>hit him again with an R2
>he's nearly dead, health bar is barely visible.
>mfw he only had around 650 hp
lmao, how the fuck do people play like this? I was only level 60 too so it's not like he was a really low level.
>Arianna wears the same dress and shoes as the cainhurst cuties
Reckon she's a lesser noble who escaped either when cainhurst was hit with the beast plague, or when the executioners rolled into town?
Have you seen the fucker? He was a beast before he turned.
Weapon wielded by the Knights of Cainhurst.
Combines an elegant knight's sword with the peculiar firearm wielded by the Cainhurst order.
The old nobles, long-time imbibers of blood, are no strangers to the sanguine plague, and the disposal of beasts was a discrete task left to their servants, or knights, as they were called for the sake of appearances.
How do I savescum? I just finished the fucking CDs and I'm about to create a pwmf to farm radials.
You don't even need to savescum if you're farming basic 27%s from layer 1 bosses, it's probably faster to just remake the dungeon and do it again.
Pretty sure savescumming is for layer 3 and 4 bosses, abyssals, etc.
What's the best meta pvp level?
Well yeah, I think as imbibers of pthumerian blood, the cainhurst nobles were quite powerful, more so than your typical yharnamite runt. But still, the executioners obliterated them. The plague must have hit them hard, regardless of how much they underplayed it, if they were so weak as to have the wheelboys roll in and stomp their shit.
80 - 120 If you want to fight actual PvPers. Around 40 if you want a twink build to destroy newbies.
>tfw finally beat ludwig after around 5 hours of tries
feels good, and I've only wasted like 25 Blood Pellets
>Can't be invaded by 150's i.e. Ludwig Greatsword ONLY aka. Reddit fucking shits
>can invade 80's
>Massive build variety because you have to specialize
>highest concentration of players, because most people don't NG+++++++ or even NG+
>still able to coop in DLC easily
>still able to invade in Mergo's
Please, you're telling me a few nobles with gunblades couldn't take out Martyr Mc.Parryme? There's something more to it, I think they were weakened severely by staving off the plague.
Aw, come on, did you see how fast that nigger went from old man walking to swagger? I don't really know what happened, but the magic he was casting doesn't seem churchy to me. I'm guessing either the crown or being bathed in cainhurst blood twisted him into something else, something lichly, and as such, I think he was well into his prime. Even if he weren't if the church was so great yharnam wouldn't be so fucked up. Cainhurst was an entire fucking castle. There's no way anything less than an army took it, they could have just closed the gates.
Reminder that Alfred, when asked about the Healing Church, doesn't even know that much about it and only knows some of the basics of it.
Niggas just a crazy dude who wants to rp irl as an Executioner, nigga doesn't even know how to get to Cainhurst
I have the feeling that Cleric Beast was intended to be a much harder boss and after you beat him you could actually ptpgress through the bridge on to cathedral ward. That would be a lot of fun, being able to reach the same goal followimg multiple paths but I guess it had some complications on balancing and shit or they wanted to be sure the player found the gem workshop tool
Executioner gloves item description:
"The gloves of an executioner from a faraway land."
"Passed from executioner father to executioner son, these gloves can be used to summon wrathful spirits of the past by smearing them with blood."
Executioners got bad ass skull magic and bullet deflecting magic
In Dark Souls 3 what they need to do is give us "transformation attacks" but instead of tricking your weapon mid combo, you just two hand it. So you hit triangle or whatever mid combo and you two hand your weapon mid swing, and then stay in two handed form.
I'd buy this except he has the Wheel Hunter Badge and Executioner Gear.
The Badge says:
Martyr Logarius led a band of Executioners, and this badge was crafted at their dedicated workshop. The Wheel symbolizes righteous destiny.
Their workshop was a secretive enclave of mystical beliefs and heady fanaticism which served as the backbone of the Executioners' unique brand of justice.
So I'm pretty sure he is an Executioner
This is plausible. The executioners were all dead. Alfred idolized the man do you think he wouldn't go with him to smash vilebloods? Their workshop was empty, maybe he just stumbled into it as shit got real and was infected by their fanaticism.
that's what I think. It's just too weird to be a specialized member of a special sect of the Church and not know much about the church about "Oh y'know I think I heard they venerate blood in the main cathedral"
He says "you're a hunter, that's how I started out too" when you first meet him, that's not the exact quote but it's pretty close.
Can anyone here confirm that the beast cutter is strictly blunt damage?
He knew exactly how immortal Annalise was
He was banking on it, him grinding her beneath the wheel was just as much about torturing her and showing how weak she was as it was about putting her down for good.
The only other person who knew about her location and get up there was the person that pointed Alfred in her direction in the first place
Asked in the old thread but it died shortly after. Does anyone have sliders for something similar to a skeleton/grim reaper or skull? I've seen people talk about it on here occasionally, want to know if anyone actually has the sliders for it though
I just had the Cleric Beast fight glitch out on me.
First, he just stopped moving and kept standing completely still.
Second, which is even weirder, I could only run into a straight line. I could backstep, but whichever direction I pushed the control stick in, I would run into a straight line.
Is this a known issue?
Because I was relatively close to him I managed to backstep away from the wall I was running into and hit him while he was standing still. This cause him to move again and after he hit me once I was able to move freely again as well. What a weird bug.
ANON STILL NEED HELP?
Sorry anon, thank you
>password co-op scales you down now
What exactly does it scale apart from HP? Does your damage down too? I can't find an answer anywhere, it seems like no one knows. All the bloodborne patch notes say is:
"If the level difference between the host and the guest when matched using a password is large, the guest's stats will be adjusted to match the host's"
apparently the new DLC for Bloodborne was a flop commercially. Look at any console outlet and the ps4 is never packaged with Bloodborne and its not displayed prominently as a platform exclusive in the same way as uncharted. In terms of sales the game isn't even in the top 20 of ps4 games bought in December.
Motherfucking fuck I am boiling with salt right now, I am so mad I don't feel like getting mad
Nah HLMS but look at my beasthood m8 without it it's only 1070 AR
My hammer does about 900something
Why the fuck does everyone complain about my vit, it used to be 40 you faggots are lucky I made the jump to 50, I don't like much health + I got the 15% rune on m8
I do pvp and co-op a lot
Thinking of making a pve twink that's like an "anti-boss" or terminator type character that uses whirligig. The thing is I've already got one that's 34/15/30/13/7/6 level 55. Am I too high for low level areas and should I start over again?
I don't understand you dude why does my level and stats have anything to do with you
You have absolutely no reason to be upset about something that will never have any effect on you, you're childish as fuck and I hope you see me in future DS3 threads with my level 600-800 character
Different attacks fill it up at different rates. Find the one that works best for your weapon of choice.
Examples: For the Saw Spear it seems to be the L1 attack. For LHB it seems to be the large form's R1.
Dude, when you get past the Cannon dude there is a split. You can clearly go to the left or right.
Saw Spear or Rifle Spear, tons of fire paper, either Pistol or Cannon, then go murder Djura the Durka for his hat since its the most pirate-looking hat in the game. As for armor, I can't really think of any coat that really looks like the one Gangplank wears that isn't either just the hunters garb or the YardHam hunters garb you buy at the beginning.
If you wear healing church clothes when you talk to ludwig you get an alternate dialouge, I didn't knew
>Ind the end, all I see is.... moonlight
God fuckking damn I love this game
EPIC glitch for an INSANE amount of blood echoes, it's so much faster and easier than just putting on three moon runes then going through Upper Mensis in 2 minutes for 60 times as many blood echoes
>finally get gud enough for Ludwig's first phase
>get fucked in his second phase because first time
>can't get past first phase anymore
I have never ever felt so defeated in my life
anybody want to help me with defiled amy? I'm ringing at the lantern.
password is fukamy
Get close to him. Wait for him to hit you. Shoot him.
Continue to Parry Lock him.
One thing I hate about this game, every single fucking human boss turns into Gwynn. Easiest fucking casual shit ever.
Literally dead in less than 10 seconds
Woah now, someone's a little triggered. I couldn't give to shits about maria or doll, I'm just sayin. Where the fuck did half-vampire come from? And staying up all night? And why mention the stats? It's trying way to hard to be edgy.
Never mind then.
Though that is a little low to be fighting Ludwig, the DLC is considered end-game content so it's going to be hard at that level.
Twink is when you get good gear at a low level to fuck with other low levels that don't have the best gear, 43 happens to be the twink meta that most people do this at.
Amy Arm and Based Cutter are pretty fun to use in unison.
Neither are top tier. But I feel like they're some of the more better designed weapons.
Beast Cutter is easy to parry in it's transformed state. But it gives you some extreme range for a Strength weapon. And I love having a huge as fuck whip with that crazy amount of stagger.
And Amy Arm has some crazy movesets. The Charged R2 then R2 again ALWAYS tricks people into running into a 600 DMG hit. And that Transformed Mode R2 double hit flail thing is just as good.
It's too bad that they're both pretty average in comparison to Kirks Raw DMG or Whirligig's Blatant overpowered bullshit.
Still -- I can't handle using any other STR weapons over them. They're just too fun to give up.
I hope DaS 3 gives us some whips similar to Bloodborne. Specifically a big, hefty str one. And a Weird Alien Arm thing.
Should I bump my Vit to 47, Skill to 47, or split my last two levels from bl98 to Vit 46 Skill 46?
Currently my skill quality build is
Str 28 (for gatling gun)
also what other weapon is a good sub for Church Pick?
This is basically how I felt about Maria after I was done fighting her the first time.
"White haired girl in a tricorn hat and trenchcoat that dual wields katana made out of blood, and then impales herself with her katana and lights them on fire. Also she can teleport and has a gun."
oh hey LHB doesnt need any Arc reqs to use, neat. I'm going to need an Uncanny version for physical damage though. Have never tried making Root dungeons before. I always got bored at around Lower Ailing Loran.
>mfw a fetus with a yoyo organ poses more of a threat than a trained fighter with dual blood katanas that also has teleportation and the power of stabbing herself to imbue her blades with fire.
I've never PvP'd before even though I've spent a fuckton of hours in CDs, gonna get absolutely demolished. All my characters are 120 though, a quality build, a SKL/BLT build, a STR/ARC build and a 99 ARC build, which one should I bring?
>everyone talks about how crowsteel is hard as fuck
>finally get to that quest
>easiest fight I have done in a while
>guy even fucking walks when not in blood mode
>didn't even have to heal
Well that was boring.
Guess I now know why he's so butthurt at people seeing his Vileblood register.
Not him but the fight can be very easy depending on your weapon. My first ting fighting him was a str char with hunters axe, and I just kept doge poking him with the transformed axe.
How the fuck am I supposed to beat the first chalice twice with that kinda build, giving virtually no damage and almost zero hp?
You only stack HP and Arc.
How bad a player are you?
I followed that guide to the fucking letter. Now I'm a Cauliflower.
Maybe you should check your human privilege, shitlord.
>see the saif and scythe in pvp
>want to try them out
>tfw skill build character is ugly
It's main benefit is its moveset. It's also more of a Quality weapon than a straight skill weapon.
don't listen to the tripfag, it's only quality in the same way that the burial blade is, which is to say it has str scaling but it's not worth investing in until you have 50skl already
She is only ugly if you believe she is. This is my skill character (She now wears Cainhurst Gauntlets and Leggings).
Her name is Karas.*
>*TL: Karas is Japanese for Crow.
It's about an extra 45 damage a swing if you get 25 str.
It is definitely worth it for a skill build. It just works best on a Skill leaning quality build.
Quality is just what we can str + skl builds because of the upgrade path in DeS.
some people just dont know how to shape what they like
What is a good, non-chalice dungeon place to farm chunks?
That looks really bad from any angle other than straight on.
You are just a retarded parrot. You have no idea why we shoot for 50 or why and when adjusting down slightly is acceptable.
45 to 46 vit with two clocks is plenty.
All dat mad.
Can you still get behind Iosefka's clinic through the fence in that area with the coffins that's right next to the entrance to central yharnam near the beginning of the game? The place with the executioner.
It varies wildly from completely new but trying to peeps that have been around since launch. Just do your best and try to have fun. You might get 2shot by korean folded steel, but you'll find plenty of people as inexperienced as you.
I hope for your sake that cutter is gemmed, though.
generally better than most people in mensis/nf but not by much. There are some people who will style on you but as a newlad you're in good company
spoilered for shilling, but this is was last fc https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xh-aA7kClog
Upper Cathedral Ward Wolves.
You need to git gud (and OP). Most of my 80+ vermin came from Ludwig co-op. The only thing that becomes and issue are BBPs.
>how to give out easy frags, the build
if we're being honest there's literally no reason to use anything other than Whirligig saw, hence there's only one good build in the game and unless you're using it, you're garbage at the game and should just stop
>That 90s anime nose
>Whirligig is best for PvE.
>Rakuyo is best for 1v1 PvP.
>Bloodletter is best for anti-ganking.
These three are optimal.
The Parasite is only useful against retards.
I've been trying for about 10 minutes and I can't even get up on the ledge, and I did it on two characters before this, but that was months ago. I suspect it got patched out.
I could be wrong though.
I just want the cainhurst summons so I can have a reiterspallasch as early as possible.
The problem with pattern-reading is that, in general, a good player either doesn't follow a pattern you can exploit with a slow, shitty weapon, or else they'll correct it after being baited once.
When your entire playstyle relies on tricking and baiting your opponent, it'll stop working when they realize they're being tricked and stop falling for your bait. This comes back to the whole "is your opponent's stupidity viable" thing and the answer is that it'll work great until you find opponents that aren't stupid, at which point you have no weapon.
don't bump at all if that's the only thing you want from ARC.
Burial Blade gets very little from ARC, to the point where it's not worth it. Rakuyo gets nothing at all, it's a pure Skill weapon.
I just arrived in Korealand /bbg/...
Why is it so fucking boring? I hate grinding for a single gem for hours. Why couldn't FROM think of a better system like gem fusion or some shit like that?
forgot my image
scaling in Arcane always refers to arcane damage. Basically that D scaling is if, and only if, you do Arcane, Fire, or Bolt gems on it. It has no bearing on the physical damage if you have it set for physical gems.
Nah, Nightmare is better than Raphael and he's way slower.
It's only about speed when you can react to it and the game allows you to be a reactive piece of shit like in bloodborne.
Every weapon has an ARC scaling but few actually get anything from it. I think it's because of the blood gem thing where you can convert your weapon into pure arcane damge.
I'm not sure how good the basic hunter tools are at PVP. I use them but I didn't go online much outside of co-op so it's up to you.
Just don't neglect your vitality in the process, that goes for both PVE and PVP.
Pure physical weapons only apply their Arc scaling if you slot them with an Arcane, Fire. or Bolt gem, but that makes them lose their physical scaling.
It's not like it's mechanically impossible for slow things to trump fast things in these games, it's just the nature of the number balance that from has always erred to the extreme on the side of small, fast weapons over large slow ones.
Back when they made armored core games, there were a few where being as big, fat and slow as possible was the meta and anything smaller and faster was choked out completely by big and beefy. Pretty much since then, every game they've made has leaned hard in the other direction, probably because when big and slow is good, the game turns into more of a numbers competition and things like being agile and reacting quickly matter much less.
>Rakuyo shits all over every other weapon in the game
>NO ONE WEAPON META BRO
The only reason that the meta doesn't look like a 1-weapon meta is because everyone's a fucking hipster holding out using shitter weapons like ayylmao or Bloodletter.
One weapon metas tend to be the final form of from games because one moveset/damage output ratio eventually resolves to be the objectively best.
DaS2 had like a million massive balance patches and they still only managed to make the final meta a ~5 weapon one, in a game of well over 100 weapons. A game like BB, where the devs refuse to properly nerf anything and only give token stamina cost reduction to the worst weapons in the game was bound to end up in a 1 weapon meta,
this isn't the case though, the 'optimal weapon lists' above aren't even followed, tons of people use different weapons because the one weapon meta is for people who want to use the saw spear
Bloodletter is objectively better than the rakuyo.
The rakuyo is barely even a top tier weapon, all it really has going for it is the space control and rollcatching with its mashable R1 combo.
The fact that DaS ended up with a 5-10 weapon meta is nothing short of a miracle IMO. From can't balance for shit.
Even in Armored Core where customization reaches autismal levels of depth, the best pieces and weapons were eventually figured out and everyone would be running them in multiplayer.
Because DeS was a hipster game for hipsters. It had a meta, but it had more people deliberately deviating form that meta for the sake of being unique butterflies than it had people adhering to it for the sake of optimal performance.
Nobody ever took DeS pvp seriously, anyways. It's the worst in the series.
>and they still only managed to make the final meta a ~5 weapon one
Mostly because in DaS2 you can carry 6 weapons at once, and character builds don't exist. So even though it's a 5 weapon meta, every character uses those same 5 weapons all at once.
>Unending death awaits those who pry into the unknown
>Unending death awaits those who pry into the unknown
>Unending death awaits those who pry into the unknown
>Unending death awaits those who pry into the unknown
Just because it is the best doesn't mean there is no reason to use anything else.
What if you want to PvE?
What if you are fighting gank squads?
What if the Rakuyo becomes so widely used that people learn to read all your moves?
DeS never had a single best.
Does anyone know if they patched the Old Yharnam skip or is it still viable? I just found out about it and it'd save me a lot of time in ng+ since that's my next area. Webm related
You can't actually carry 6 weapons without gouging vit and the meta doesn't afford any points for vit unless you're a breakpoint poisebuild. After they nerfed it, armor stopped mattering entirely, so most characters are just dark-infused robflynns.
You're right that one buiold can use all 5, but that's because none of them require more than 25 into str or dex, and dark-infusing gives better damage at base int/fth than uninfused has at 50str/dex, so every build is just the minimum stats to wield the meta weapons and the rest into end and vig.
>Just because it is the best doesn't mean there is no reason to use anything else.
what next, some people don't die even when they are killed?
ok, started Defiled Chalice, beat the first floor boss.
I know for a fact that the next boss is Watchdog, and that everyone else has a fucking hard time with it. Hell, even I struggle on it with full health. You guys got any tips to kill this fucker fast?
Being the best doesn't mean being the best at everything. It just means that overall it has the best qualities. Other weapons might be better suited to specific tasks.
That's just semantics anyways because in this case there's never a reason not to use Rakuyo in PvP.
Nose Bopping is by far the safest way of beating it, and that takes around 3 to 4 minutes at most. Far less than having to fight it over and over again, thanks to a bad dodge and shitty hit boxes.
I just beat him with Queen Killer's help. Queen Killer is a fucking tank and should be able to carry you through most of the fight. Bring any buffs you got. Bone marrow ash helps a fuck ton when you dont want to get close but he has a couple hits left
I do it like this:
-Equip a saw cleaver, trick it.
-Stay in front of it and bait the bites, R1 in the face when on recovery
-When it goes for the lava vomit, untrick weapon, get close to the front legs and wack it until it breaks, hit until it recovers and roll away
-After this he will do a AoE followed by a blind charge forward or some random swipes, as long as you're not in front you're safe.
- Repeat until dead.
The PvP has zero variety, but it isn't bad.
Just because there's only one setup that's used doesn't mean there's no skill involved in actually winning.
In fact, isn't PvP better when every fight is a perfectly equal mirror match?
>tfw no one takes your shitpost seriously so you samefag and try again
I am saying that it is the best for one scenario in particular, then offering examples that show why it is still not the only weapon worth ever using.
Are you literally autistic?
Yeah, freedom is always nice.
^I just try to come up with or collect the least difficult strategies to help people struggling. Nose bopping is the way to go if you get stopped up.
Been getting back into BB finally, at last it has grabbed me by the balls like Dark Souls did. I'm trying to wrap up Eileen's questline at the moment, I believe I'm lvl 55 but I'm pretty competent, anyone have any tips for beating the Bloody Crow? I tried summoning for him but I guess you can't, I've just been running at him, and then helping people with Vicar Amelia just to stock up of blood vials for more runs. How many blood vials does he have? I've never seen him use more than one but he normally kills me quick enough that I never see a second one.
He only has one. If you have good ranged damage, aggro him, run to the stairs, then when he starts walking backwards shoot him. Stair method should also work if you just have melee.
This. The only way to even remotely stand a chance against a ganksquad is to either have a Bloodletter and hope they stay next to each other like retards, or be Boomhammer Jap and invade in the Hamlet where they're just as likely to get memed on by the enemies there as they are you.
Strength, Bloodtinge, or Arcane? Starting a fresh character for the DLC. Is there a viable build that allows me to use everything in the game? I remember seeing Lucy posting one once.
I'm working on a bloodtinge build, currently have a chikage at +8 and Eve at +7, I tried poison knives but I thought they patched it so it doesn't do 99% of your health bar. guess I'll just have to be more patient. Thanks bruh
Balance in any competitive game assumes that all players are of equal skill and extremely high skill level, so as to remove variables allowing for fluke victories. You're literally saying "is my opponent's stupidity viable?"
Assuming all players are of equal and high skill, you simply WILL NOT win against a gank squad.
>tfw can't decide which outfit to wear for fightclub
Which looks better? I'm leaning towards the Harrowed torso
Lock on and continuously strafe at a safe distance. When he tries to do a sprinting attack on you, parry him. Just repeat that until he is dead.
You can also use enemies to your advantage. Gankers absolutely hate that.
40/20/30/20/20/40 let's you use everything in the game. It is perfectly viable for PvE and light PvP. Don't expect it to hold up well in FCs though.
I'm actually saying, "git gud, faggot." I am talking about in practice not your retarded head duels. And in Ganks you use the environment to your advantage. Enemies have ridiculous amounts of health and damage. If you use them well, then you can still win ganks, especially with high damage AoE weapons.
If you wait for his head to start to recoil after a bite, then he gets locked into the recovery and can't chain bites.
If you wanted to use EVERYTHING, you'd have to level yourself up really high, though I suppose it's technically possible. Just be aware that trying to use everything will mean that you'll be starved for levels all the way through your playthrough.
Probably the best approach to using the most variety possible would be a 50arc build with 20str and 20 skl, aiming for somewhere around 140 as your ending level. Any weapon that doesn't have innate elemental damage can be turned into an arcane-scaling pure elemental weapon by slotting an elemental gem, there's a guide in the OP for doing an arcane playthrough but be aware that a single playthrough only gives you enough chunks for 3 fully upgraded weapons, and you'll end up needing to farming chalices for elemental gems if you want to use all of them or more.
I wouldn't try to mix blt and arc, since they both are bullethogs and blt is one of those stats where you go 50 or not at all. You can mix str and blt, if you want, but be aware that the only weapons making use of that stat spread are the cannon, church cannon and bloodletter. For everything else you use, your points in one or the other will be wasted.
>It is perfectly viable for PvE and light PvP
Is it retard friendly? I got kicked in the head by Father Gascoigne when I first started out and now my brain not work so good.
>trying to incite more attention to him
in any case, just make a 50/50 quality build then start leveling up other stats
it'll make it a lot easier to hit all softcaps that way as opposed to investing points in arc/BT early
But he tracks you during the charge's wind up
I've moved right behind him as he was about to do the charge, and he just turned 180 degrees on the spot in an instant as he charged
The bloodletter is better than the saif but it's much easier to get a saif build thrown together.
The great thing about the saif is that it's equally good on an arcane or qualityskill build, and the latter takes practically no farming to get going.
Try reading the entire post. You start walking to the left, then when he actually starts his charge attack, you dodge to the left.
It works for all the charging attacks I have tried it against (Ludwig, Hotdog, Bribri).

Would anyone be willing to help me with Bloodletting Beast?
This is the best grab attack I've seen an enemy do. I like how your character just grabs the cleaver handle and is like stop
tfw cant decide between chikage build or str build for hueg weapons and pizza cutter
Blt is pretty boring, to be honest.
Strength gives you lots of variety. You have pve shit like the kirk, the gigsaw, hunter's axe, etc., and then you get some real fun shit later on like beast claws, wheel, beast cutter and so on.
My strength build is probably the most fun build I've made.
I've gathered a few more, will be posting those in case they're up to snuff.
Learn the tell so you can react as soon as possible.
When you see it start walking to the side. You don't want to be right up on him, and you don't really want to circle strafe either.
Then when you see the indication that he is about to move just dodge in the same direction you were walking. The walking should have gotten you enough off of his center axis that the dodge should let you clear his charge.
It's the same concept as you see in: >>128775336
for dodging the Hot Dog's charge.
Stand still and start charging your R2.
Grab attacks are pretty bullshit and need to go, especially the one the Frenzy Dolls and BSB have.
You can go Str Blt if you want variety.
Is it my imagination or mashing buttons does reduce damage? I've been hit by that grab and damage was nowhere near what that shows.
I learned it back in DaS and I keep doing it in Bb, and I think it does work.
Sure, I'll be there right quick.
I'd reccomend str
Go something like
base blt and arc
On either violent past or military vet.
This'll put you at 98, and you can raise whatever if you want to stop at 100, 110, 120 or so on.
The 20 points in skill will let you eke more damage out of weapons like the stake driver, beast claws and whatnot, and will also allow you to use the church pick with a heavy abyssal as a strength weapon.
Just be prepared to do a lot of gem farming for heavy abyssals and korean blunt adepts.
