I tried hard to like the Mega Man Zero series but I couldn't.

The way the levels are designed and densely packed with traps and enemies means that the pace of the game is excruciatingly slow compared to Mega Man X or classic Mega Man.

In MM or MMX, I always felt that I could go moderately fast in a level while still do on-the-spot strategizing for how to deal with obstacles.

In contrast, in MMZ, the level design forces you to go very slowly and carefully.

On an unrelated note I wonder if an /mmg/ cafe with OCs would be possible in the future. this is probably gonna sound autistic as fuck but

I know for a fact that Stealth Woman is not too terribly social, and while she is able to maintain something of a facade if she really needed to, she doesn't make too many friends. Others might find her a little weird and many mistake her for an emotionless robot, though she's a more jovial person when opens up to people or she gets to talk about her hobbies. She has a few personality traits of Tomoko from Watamote. She can be rather nihilistic though she can sometimes go out of bounds with her blunt views. Sometimes she will mimic human behaviors and yawn when she is tired, which will often be at work because she stayed up too late playing video games and as evidenced by her secret stash of eroge games, she's a bit of a pervert. She also likes stealth games like Splinter Cell and Metal Gear Solid and Bond movies.

As far as her abilities go in the cafe she would do poorly at door greeting, her cooking would be passable though she'd be good at waiting tables. I've yet to think of any event storyline for her though.

I also have headcanon ideas for the other OCs made here. Like Snow Woman would probably be good at door greetings and pretty decent at cooking and maybe average at waiting tables?

For Test Woman, I assume she's a bit eccentric (due to that art of her with the ponponpon bow). When waiting tables, some customers might find her eccentricity a bit weird while others might find it endearing in the same way that some people find Air Man scary but some think he's cool. She could probably often times pull of the "kawaii cafe girl" look which would make her a good door greeter. As a cook she's often times not very good. She could properly cook and bake but she'll often try weird recipes, which waste money. We're talking stuff like chocolate covered bacon. These "promotions" are often a miss as most people aren't willing to try them but sometimes her strange recipes go over well and become very popular.

I thought of a plot detail for Stealth's route. Throughout the game she's introduced as Mezzo, her civilian identity and maybe she's working at the cafe as a cover for a mission.

Maybe after hours the owner one day catches Stealth Woman in her normal attire. She got beaten up in a fight after being ambushed by Sniper Joes that look like ninjas I guess? Her attackers run away only because the owner showed up. I don't see her ending being to be a sweet one but it'll have a silver lining in the end

in X8 the events of hard mode are considered to be canon, so Vile had never died and merely escaped after his defeat at the top of the orbital elevator. It's left up to interpretation but I tend to think he patched himself up and committed more crimes.

Vile was captured and brought to Replicure for two reasons. His combat abilities made him an ideal bounty hunter and if they could rehabilitate someone like Vile, it would create something of a poster child success story. It would bring good publicity to their organization.

Nova volunteered to be his sponsor because she's someone who believes in luck. She's a little bit of a gambler and believes that fate favors the bold. She saw working with Vile as an investment because he had an SA rank when he was a hunter. Guild members have to pay to sponsor a new member.

I've talked about some of her dialogue with him, but she tends to be sassy with him, especially during the tutorial.

These are actually really cool ideas. In an RPG I originally imagined her to be a support party member for Vile but she ended up being a sort of specially defensive version of Sharla from Xenoblade Chronicles.

Quick Man is a pretty popular favorite, especially among fan girls.

For me, it's hard to pick a favorite since I like a lot of them for different reasons. Heat Man for instance is actually a massive adorable dork. He has a dial on his back that regulates his heat and he doesn't even know that it's there, and as shown in Super Adventure Rockman, if he laughs too hard, his lid shuts on him.

I think Astro Boy had a discussion about this. Astro was learning about religions and his sister said the concept of religious deities was foreign to robots.

The Mega Man classic games have never touched on the issue of religion. In the comics I believe it was asked on the cover of one of them if a robot had a soul, but that's just spirituality in general.

The X and Zero series however have a decent amount of content that's actually pretty heavily inspired by religion and mythology. The original city in X1 is Abel City. Dr. Cain was named after Cain, the progenitor of monsters who was cursed by god after killing his brother Abel.

X represents the son, Dr. Light represents the father and Cyber Elf X represents the holy spirit.

The maverick virus and/or Sigma could easily be an indirect reference to Satan and tempation as Sigma fills in the role of the fallen angel when he started his rebellion and the way he is able to influence others to do his bidding in an almost omnipotent way backs this up. This part is just speculation but, resisting the maverick virus seems to hinge almost entirely on the affected reploid's moral compass. I'm sure there's more but it's not coming to mind right now.

The Zero series has some religious undertones but it's much more heavily inspired by Norse mythology. Ragnarok translates to "Doom of the Gods" and is the name the pre-Christian Norse gave to the end of their mythical cycle, during which the cosmos would be destroyed and subsequently re-created.

I feel like more could be added and it'd be better to have a complete understanding of mechanics before moving to make a full game. So, I'm going to make a second demo.

I'm actually asexual, which is the other part of the reason why I don't want to write lewds. I know the demand for lewds is pretty high, so that's why I'm willing to add them in at all.

As the name implies, Bubbleman is a big fave of mine. Tho, moreso Bubbleman.EXE than Classic but I love 'em both so what the hell. Other favs are Oilman, Cutman, Bombman, Gutsman, Timeman, Heatman, Crashman, Flashman, Hardman, Junkman, Dynamoman, Tenguman....
