Anyone got a decent .cia of Kid Icarus? I already tried a few that got posted here with passwords and FBI, BBM, as well as DevMenu all say failed .cia is invalid

I got a pastebin with a bunch of games but some are .3ds and I think half of these CIAs are corrupted

Can O3DS handle SNES emulation okay? I'd much rather play the SNES version of DQ3 than the GBC version.

Any time I try to do anything with rxtools I end up with another error. Tried installing it with one guide, rxtools froze every time I opened it. Tried with the "You must be literally retarded edition", the firmware doesn't download correctly. Tried the alternative download in that, can't download anything in python. Allowed python through the firewall, it now says "Downloaded!" as it's supposed to, still nothing downloaded. What the fuck am I supposed to do.

If you delete the game from system data management, it'll be removed from the card and you'll get the space back.

The only leftover file would be the cia file you used to install it, which you should delete after installing the game anyway.

O3DS is actually a little less powerful (processor-wise at least) than the PSP. PSP was never able to fully emulate every game perfectly, so it stands to reason that the O3DS will never get close.

N3DS probably will get better, but considering there's a native (and perfect) emulator built into the system, work on gba emulators for 3DS has and will be slowing down even further.

I got all the way to autobooting into emunand, but it does seem like it wants to use themehax even in emunand, as emunand only boots when I press the button.

They do seem to be unlinked as i created a folder in sysnand, but it doesnt show up in emunand, unless they can be partially unlinked or something. Changing theme in emunand does nothing, the next time i boot it up it just switches back to the default theme and themehax still wants to boot.

We have workable Xbox emulators that run retail games, but they're either slow as shit or crash almost immediately. It's partially due to the emulators not being actively worked on, partially because the original XBox is a pain in the fucking ass to work with, and since a lot of computers aren't close to powerful enough to run it at full speed.

XB360 and PS3 are even more powerful and will take even longer to emulate. You're right in that they're cracked and their architechture is fairly familiar, but both are more powerful than people give them credit for. Actually, it's probably more accurate to say that most home computers are less powerful than people think.

I noticed the original xbox essentially wasn't really emulated much, Like you don't see any super good ones anyways. Then again haven't been looking due to rgh/backwards compatibility. But it's kind of odd to think that even original xbox is harder to emulate than a wii. Like wii has dolphin which works pretty great. Yet xbox original let alone 360 are still unrealistic goals atm. Since xb1 and ps4 are x86 are we more likely to get them emulated before 360/ps3? It is odd to realize if you're thinking about release dates and power and such, but there's actually a really, really good reason for this.

Dolphin was originally an emulator for gamecube. When the Wii came out, which was only about as powerful as the xbox, it was quickly discovered that it used the EXACT same architecture as the gamecube. The main and only difference was that it was more powerful, but a lot of games don't utilize that power. A LOT of games. So the games that do get game specific fixes, while everything else could essentially be run off a gamecube emulator anyways, which they had to begin with and which can run easily on most decent home computers.

Xbox on the other hand was miles ahead of gamecube in the power department when it first came out, and it's architecture is among the most confusing and foreign anyone's ever seen.

So I messed up trying to import a few themes using Howling and they came out broken on the Theme select menu.
I tried again and did things the right way this time with some more themes, and they DO work now, but not all of the themes I packed into the .cia are showing up, the ones that DO show up have the icons and titles for official themes "Hanafuda, Mario Spinners, etc" and the broken themes are still there and still not working.
Is there a way to just delete all the themes on my emunand and start from scratch? I believe that my first mistake with the broken themes is what's causing these issues.

a dualbooting rgh can switch between an Rgh and a normal xbox. but the rgh is like a jtag except newer I guess. Basically the equivalent to a hacked 3ds. Install games freely, backup cds of games, boot hacks for games, play on LiNK (like lan or a hackers xbl. Normally hacked games and cheating isn't allowed in main lobbies though) and set custom themes (shit compared to the 3ds theme community imo but there're some good themes.) they're pretty cheap now honestly, get one from se7ensins probably better than craigslist. (You can also get flaming recon in halo 3. That was my selling point, and RTE games that support it. Ie halo 3, reach, probably cod if you get the menu/hax that support it.) It's cool.

I'm honestly pretty happy the wii got emulated since endless ocean was pretty sweet but it's also kind of dissapointing a little that nintendo released the wii if it's the same as a gamecube. That's some lazy shit right there honestly. Or people just expect stuff that's new to be groundshattering different. It's also kind of weird to know that the original xbox changed more than the gamecube, wii alone. So did the Wii-U actually change then? Since we don't have a neat little emulator for it.

yes, delete the theme package from system settings

Also, NTR breaks themes and it breaks streetpass until a restart, be aware of that when messing with your themes.
